hi everyone else- vic, myturn, N2L, planetsasha, andi, joeve, kashby, sorry if I've forgotton anyone- babydust to you all.
As above, I am on the pill so no chance at a sneaky bfp ( i think you have to dtd to get them too ;)), BUT my exciting news is that I have now lost almost 5 kgs on my diet, almost at my goal weight and then will try to drop even 2 kg more.I am in a normal BMI range now, so hoping that this may help my next ivf cycle?? Please god or whoevers in charge of allocating bfps?? :D

Dr Googling this week after I didn't get any sign of 'O' until day 20..... :wall:
So transfer was on day 23.... with a (usually) 31 day cycle... this seemed a bit late to me....
anyway I actually DID get the guts to ask the nurse today, who suggested I speak to FS today.... SOOO.... he DID actually call me back! It was nice that he took my concerns seriously, although he suggested that there is not clear evidence one way or another, he said it wouldn't hurt to give me the extra drugs :) lol.... so I've gotta go pick up the pregnal injections tomorrow... so I can stab on saturday (day 4) and wenesday (day 8) .... He said that even though it might not make any difference, it wouldn't hurt, and at least we'd feel like we had done everything....
It was nice as I didn't feel stupid for asking, and I don't have to worry about it either ;)
he did give me the choice of pesseries.... but i didn't want to stick anything up my clacker this time..... (lol... I miss :bd:too much!!!)
so... anyway.... now I just have to jump onto the TWW thread and try not to go insane..... although as I will probably know by the end of next week at least I can feel relaxed... and we are going away with a couple of friends on the weekend, which will be nice.

Pregnyl is easier than the progesterone, but the false symptoms are pretty annoying. Whatever you do, do not POAS!!!
Not sure if they mentioned it, but pregnyl needs to be refrigerated at all times so take a cooler bag with an ice pack to pick it up (unless your pharmacy provides them.)
So when is your BT?

Hello everyone.
FS appointment good we are ready to start once AF turns up. DH and I had another round of bt including hcg just on the completely never gonna happen chance I am one of those women who don't get a positive on home pee test... As if but I humoured the FS for once and it felt good to be the one humoring for a change!! So I have my pill ready to pop and all our paperwork ready for the nurses.

My turn, I have only had pregnyl in two cycles. Both times I didn't get AF for several days after blood test. Both times there was HCG still in my system when I had BT.

Yay for being PUPO myturn. Hoping the TWW goes quickly and ends with a BFP.
AFM - still waiting on AF. I think I am going to POAS if it hasn't come by tomorrow night. Am scared to even entertain the idea of a little miracle. But that would be sweet.

Hmmmm...just got my blood test results back.
FSH was 6.3
AMH was 40.8!
Just waiting to hear why AMH is so high???
Eta : I should point out I know high AMH is indicative of PCOS which I have, but it's been under control lately (so I thought!) and I have been on 1500mg of metformin since October...
Problem solved. The receptionist got mixed up, as did the lab. The 40.8 was not my AMH. It was for the ca125, which they were not meant to test... AMH still pending...
N2l how long does AMH usually take to come back? I never had mine tested before yesterday so just wondering?
I had mine done Wednesday. Not back yet. Will let you know!

hope you don't mind me jumping on here, I am having a FET with HRT... Transfer is due on the 21st, but They have downed my dosage of progynova so my cycle could be extended. This is my first FET, last time was a fresh transfer.
N2L - Lol, I thought that was extremely high for your AMH, especially since it was no where near that last time.
Myturn - Congrats hunni on being PUPO. You and I are always at opposite timing for cycles. Enjoy the TWW, make sure you rest xxx

As i mentioned earlier i have been MIA while saving funds to do our next HRT FET but have been watching the action in here from the sidelines. It looks like I start taking tablets this time next week to induce a cycle and then like Vic and no doubt a few others i will be on progynova until transfer. I'm praying for something good to happen as the family has had a rough start to 2012 but at the same time I know not to get my hopes up to high. So all in all great to see some have achieved their BFPs and I will be back when AF shows up. Until then baby dust to all xx
PS to any moderators out there its taken me 5 tries so far to get the image verification right due to my vision impairment :( very frustrating

Hi ladies hope you are going well in here. Just popping to say I will only be stalking you all for next 4 months. Saw FS on Friday and I have been put on diaformin for pco and also DHEA as my eggs are not good quality and she wants me to try and lose 20 kgs. Go back in mid July to start another cycle of ivf.
I check in on you all as I find I can't help myself and want to know how you are all going.
Good luck and stickyvibes and baby dust to you all. I am hoping you all get to move onto belly buddies threads before I get to come back here though.

Hi Ladies, well I had a chat to my FS on the phone yesterday and we will be starting another IUI cycle in just under a week. I feel better knowing that we are doing something while I am waiting for my appointment to start IVF, gives us hope for another few weeks that we might finally get our BFP.

AFM - Not much still to report. AF has finally left the building. Thought she would never leave. DH is home for the long weekend and we have been enjoying quality time together. Having a break from the TTC has been great on our relationship. I have my FS appointment this week and will be happy back to be actively TTC. Have a great weekend everyone xxx

Just trying to prepare myself there is a good chance of it being canceled in two weeks time but wanting to be positive and optimistic. Bring on the jabs for a last ditch attempt!
Thanks Vic and Keta. I might ring the clinic this afternoon and ask how long should wait and what my options are. My cycles are pretty regular 27-28 days usuallly. Well that was before starting on Zoladex last year. I've only had one visit from AF since finishing Zoladex in Jan. Not sure if that is normal or not. I guess that is another reason to ring someone and ask.
Keta - really hope your cycle isnt cancelled and that it all goes smoothly.

Thank Jane, keta and Vic, I to am hoping all the hard work with weight loss and the pill popping I am doing will help.
Vic - my specialist gave me a script for DHEA, I had to go to a certain chemist as not all of them stock it. Once again not a cheap thing to buy, my 4 months supply cost be just over $300 and of course it's one of those ones that isn't covered by anything lol.
I am just really glad I finally have an FS who gives a hoot and wants to try everything possible to get me pregnant.
Thanks for that Kerbear. I may ask my FS on Thursday about it. I have 5 frosties, but assume it takes months to get into your system, so if I start now, if I need another stim cycle it should have kicked in by then. It is expensive, but with all the money we have all spent, whats more I guess. Anything to get us pregnant. Thank god you have found someone who will listen and suggest positive things for you to do.
Keta - Are you lining up for anything? Sorry, but its hard to keep track of everyone in here and what we are all up to :)
Jane - I would definately call especially if your usually regular. Time goes so slow when your waiting for something.
