Afm - bfn this morning so trigger is gone. Boobs are sore and crampy this afternoon. But really, I don't think this month is the one :(

Eta: sorry, I missed your post Kerbear. I am sorry your scan wasn't what you'd hoped :( I really, really hope things pickup over the next couple of days :pray:

Miss B - We are all praying that your eggs fertilise. :grouphug:

Kerbear - So very sorry to hear that your follies are not growing :grouphug: You must be so frustrated. Dont give up as you still have iui. At least it will keep you in the running for this month.

N2L - I dont think that this month will be ours either. At least your boobs are sore and your having cramps. Mine are doing nothing. Sometimes I think they are tingly, but think its more in my head. I haven't POAS yet. I cant bring myself to do it. Especially since DH is away. I didn't last time either. Although this time they are making me wait 15 days. Why prolong the agony, I dont know, especially if it a BFN. I have thought about asking if I could do it earlier, but crazily I dont want to jinx myself.

myturn - Good luck for tomorrow. I had a talk with my sister tonight and she was thinking about having another child, but promised that she would wait for me first. She is unsure, already has a DS and DD from her ex husband and in a new relationship for a couple of years and the new BF doesn't have children and really wants them. And she says she is 33 and doesn't have time to waste *sigh*. Lucky we are really close and I am happy for her, but again, if she goes before me, I will kill her :) Especially since she is one of the few that know what we are going through.

AFM - talked to DH a while ago and he sounds happy to be coming home tomorrow. We talked briefly about his working away and he said he told his boss we may have to go to Adelaide for another cycle and he said it was fine. So we will work it out, if we need to. Which made me happy. Looks like it may be the week after next, so at least it will be after my birthday and BT. Still struggling with all this waiting...

I am doing a down-reg with extras and not sure which cd - started OCP cd5 last Sat, so am I cd10 or relative to the OCP so cd5? Total newbie here :( Starting synarel on the 28th with down reg scan 10th Feb ....... It is all taking soooo long!!!!

I cannot do personals cos on my phone but have read all your posts and send hugs, sticky vibes and follie-dust (does that exist as a term?)....... to you all :)

Dear all... It's hard when you're ttc with others and they fall before you... It happened to me... My brother and sis in law and my best friend both have fallen while we were ttc together... It was very hard for me they both have beautiiful daughters who r 3 months and 7 months old. I love them dearly but it still hurts deeply hearing them speak about their babies and I still dont have mine :( over the Xmas holidays another friend of mine got preg and another colleague... I get so depressed everytime I get the news.... How many bfp's will have yet to happen before mine?????? Life's unfair!!!!! Ive been on pause for the last 4 months due to zoladex And I can't try again for a couple of months ..... So tired of waiting!!!! I hope all this waiting will pay off.... Sorry for ranting on

Kashby - Welcome to the group :hello: I hope this month is your month and your stay here is short (I mean that in a nice way!!!)

Kerbear - Sorry to hear your cycle isnt going to plan :comfort: At least all is not lost and you can still do and IUI cycle.

Vic - I know how hard it is having DH working away. Mine has worked 2 weeks away and 1 week at home for about 3 years but is now on a much better one week on and one week off. I still struggle having him work away let alone at time like this. Just remember we are all here for you love :grouphug: Hope you can find something to keep you busy over the rest of your TWW, do you like reading? I found that helped for me, and baking.

N2L - Sorry you dont feel like its your month, without sounding like a nutter, I have a feeling that this month is your month! I hope your not going insane with your TWW :hug: My sister is similar to yours, she is 30 and has a full hysterectomy at 25 so now chance of her having another baby, lucky she had her children young and I have 2 beautiful neices.

Miss B - Yay for egg pickup, you may have only got 4 eggs but it only takes 1! I hope you are feeling ok and your tummy isnt hurting you too much, my heat pack was my saviour at this time.

LiseyT - Ive got everything crossed for you love that they dont cancel your cycle, its an awful feeling isnt it :(

Keta - Hope you are going well honey, looking forward to catching up for coffee on Tuesday - We just worked out we live 10 minutes from each other, small world hey!

:hello: to anyone I have missed, we have been a busy little day in here and im struggling to keep up!

AFM - Well Af turned up today...yay!!! Start my jabs on Saturday and when I rang and spoke to the nurse today she said that they want me to come in next Thursday for the BT and US (Vic can you please change me to 26th on the list xxx) it works out well because I dont work Thursdays so at least the first one wont interupt work, my clinic is an hour away + in traffic from my house. I picked DH up from the airport today as he came home from work. I as very excited that I am CD 1 so he will be home when I start my jabs, although a little annoying that we didnt get one last BD in before AF arrive :rolleyes: He is taking me out for dinner tonight nothing fancy just good ol' chinese, will be nice to just go somewhere casual and have a chat. We are off to see his dad tomorrow who lives 3 hours out of town so I wont be back on until we get home on Sunday. I hope everyone has a magical weekend and lots of :pink-babydust:

When I was in the recovery room (I was the first on the list so initially I was there on my own) a couple of ladies got wheeled in after me. I couldn't help but feel for them and what they have to go through with IVF. I thought to myself, why do we have to go through all these invasive proceduress when others just get pg at the drop of a hat???!!!! Not fair :(

I remember feeling weird - knowing that all of us were in there for the same reason (I assumed), but of course no one wanted to talk about it or own up to it or anything... it's weird... sitting at the clinic rooms knowing that everyone is experiencing the same thing, but you still feel so alone, like no one gets it at all.

lovely that she would offer, but I'm sorry to say that I think she's a bit silly to make promises like that! I would feel so much worse if my sister said that and then wasn't able to keep the promise! of course we all know that we would all be happy for our siblings..... (it just sucks at the same time!) Anyway, lets hope it doesn't come to that - cause your'e PUPO and that's cause for celebration in itself.... ;)

Oh that sucks more than anything!!! when I hear things like that, I am reminded that I don't have it as bad as others, and I need to remember to be thankful that I still CAN carry a baby (as far as I know!!) and I still have that chance - and I am so grateful and lucky to have that.
p.s. like amy-j - I feel it is your month - maybe we will be wrong - but we are all in your court today baby!... I reckon you're a glutton for punishment with all the POAS though!! xxx

aww shucks - glad you could join us :) I am also doing down reg - but we count CD1 as the frist day of bleeding after I stopped the pill - it seems to be the only thing that makes sense! I started the syneral a week before that, and am only on syneral atm - hoping to start FSH (puregon) tomorrow - assuming I get the go ahead at my U/S

hi girls thought i would join in... I have had 7 months off and have loved it getting my body and mind back on track! I am now day 8 of stim cycle and off to a slow start only looks like 4 follies which is low but it only takes one i suppose!

Hi Ladies

To those of you with embies on board i pray they stick for you!
In my mothers group from my DS I am now the only one without a second child and two of my close girlfriends have had 2 since i had my boy. I too get a little sad when I know how hard some of us have to work to get pregnant it doesnt seem fair at all. I have been blessed with one miracle and for that I will be eternally grateful but it wont stop me trying to have another but I do know at some point we will have to call it quits with IVF and be content with what we have.
I too felt really guilty that I was the cause of our infertility as my husbands ex fiance committed suicide when she was 5 months pregnant so I figured it couldn't be him at fault. However, when it came to our IVF tests it turned out he was infertile too and unlikely to have ever fathered a child which was a real blow to him psychologically and in addition he needed genetic testing for abnormalities.
For those in the TWW I remember with my son i did a POAS the day before my BT which was only faintly positive so please dont give up yet (sticky vibes..sticky vibes...sticky vibes).
I am just waiting now for my appointment next week with FS, went to the GP today to get the ball rolling with my 3 other specialists who will adapt my current treatments for a possible pregnancy. So now we wait...with IVF there seems to be a lot of waiting! I remember with my first attempts thinking it would be quick....nope we made initial contact in September 2006, after counselling, genetic testing, changing to ICSI, a wedding, a house and an engagement we didn't get pregnant until 2008. Hopefully it wont be so long this time and for all of you wonderful ladies lets cross our everything that this will be our year, we deserve it :D

Hi ladies,

Sorry 4 the quick post but I'm starting 2 freak out! The nurse called and said that out of the 4 eggs 3 have fertilized which is fantastic. But because there was a low number of eggs retrieved, they will do a day 2 transfer tomorrow. I'm freaking out because both my previous transfers were day 5 & 6. As for the other two embies, she said they will aim for day 5. I'm a bit concerned because what if they are good on day 3 or 4 but stop growing on day 5? She said that if I prefer they will freeze the other two on day 3 if I want. That is if they are suitable for freezing. What do I do? Should I try to contact the FS and ask for his opinion? Has anyone had a successful pg with a day 2 embie?
