Thanks MissB. BT is six days away. But I used a test sensitive to 10iui so it would have picked up any HCG in the body by now. Just don't want to tell DP that he will never be a biological father if he stays with me :(

N2L - I am so sorry that you think that your out. Do you have any hope for the BT? Your Bt is still almost a week away and I know you used a sensitive one, but could there still be hope? I hate seeing a BFN on that POAS. I know how you feel about your DP. My DH wasn't even that keen in the beginning and how I have got him invested I dont want to break his dreams too :( Why is life to unfair sometimes?
Miss.B - Welcome to the PUPO club, so glad you could join us :) Hope your taking it easy and resting lots and your DF is taking really good care of you. Good on you for DTD last night. Got that blood flowing around.
Hi to everyone else.
AFM - My DH and I bought a POAS this morning. He is keen for me to do it this weekend so that if the news is bad on Wednesday I am not an uncontrolable mess like I was last time. He think we will be a bit prepared. I dont think I am pregnant and am really dreading POAS. I am now dreading the BT as well as at the moment I may have a little person in me and after that I know it will be gone and then comes all that comes along with that. I am so tired of not being pregnant. Selfish I know as there are others out there that have been trying a lot harder and lot longer than us. I guess with all the hormones and my birthday next week its all getting on top of me. I feel like my whole family has been able to have kids easy. Cousins too. My cousins kids are now starting to have kids. When is it our turn. Sorry for the rant. Like I said its the hormones. My Nana is having her 90th birthday in April and I am starting all the invites and everyone has kids on it.
Will let you know if i do it...
Sorry N2L
Good luck Vic - I think the preparation is helpful sometimes - even though it sucks as well. I hope you are both wrong and it is all AOK. FX
vic, the reason I POAS is we have so little control over this whole process. We are totally at the mercy of doctors, medication, our bodies....I'll be damned if I leave it up to a nurse working her way down a list of people to call to find out whether the cycle I have invested SO much into was successful or not. I want to find out in my own time, when I AM READY, iykwim...
I try not to POAS too often (or I'm even more crazy!) but I think I prefer to do it a day or so before test to know in my own time too.
It all sucks though - I hate bfn
Yep :( Let me tell you, if you ever get to your 7th IVF cycle BFN, you will hate them even more.
Hope you are all having a great weekend.
N2L - I am sorry you are feeling down about this 2ww, my theory has always been that it ain't over till its over, until AF arrives keep hope, you never know yours might not show up until AF is due. I had a friend test the day AF was due and there was nothing and then test the next day and was positive. Keep you chin up, :), I am crossing my fingers for you and hoping it is just hiding it from you for now. I hope this is the one for you.
It made me realise when you wrote about your sister that at least I have a chance to have children even if its a hard road, your sister doesn't get that :-(
Vic - yeah I am a bit frustrated with this month but on the up side we have a plan in place for next month if the iui doesnt end up with a BFP and we can start straight away and don't need my body to have a break which is good. I jus keep looking at the fact that the more months that go by the higher chance of being heavily pregnant in the really hot months which doens't appeal to me, but in saying that I will be so happy to get pregnant whenever it happens :-)
I hope you are feeling a little better, it is hard it this part of the wait cause you have done a week and you jsut want it over and to know either way. So hope you get a BFP.
Amy-jellybear - yay for AF and DH being home, it is so good he is back in time to start it with you. Welcome to the journey with us, good luck with growing your follies and hope they grow big and strong ;)
Kashby - love your term follie-dust, if it doesn't exist it should as it seems to be something we all wish each other.
Blossom - good luck with growing those follies to a good size
Myturn - how is the jabbing going, hope you are feeling ok, I would hate to have to wait as long as you do for U/S we have ours at day 4 which i like as its not much of a wait to find out whats going on in there.
MissB - So glad to hear your transfer went well for you, hope you are enjoying being waited on my DH and laying on the couch giving the embie the best chance ;). Stickyvibes to you.
Jane - Wow looks like you are going along really well, all your follicles sound like they are close in size, Good luck, keep up the good growing.
Oh my gosh there are so many of us here but I like to write to everyone every couple of days so that you know I am reading the posts you write ane thinking about you all, I hope that what i write helps you feel a little better, if nothing else so that you all know I am here on this journey with you and hope for BFP's for everyone.
AFM - we had another scan this morning and follicles have grown but not enough and I think the biggest problem is that they are all differening so much in size, there is really only 1 stand out and 2 following that, the other 4 are just not going to cut it. So after talking with FS and DH we have decided that we will be going ahead with IU instead of IVF on Tuesday so I will then be in the 2WW and hope that one of the follicles had a good egg and DH swimmers find it and make the most of i t;). If that doesn't work and AF arrives in a couple of weeks we will start another cycle of IVF with high meds since we now know how my body reacts.
After 5 failed IUI I don't hold much hope but we also didn't have multiple follicles so maybe just maybe it might work.
Babydust, stickyvibes, and growing vibes to everyone :-)
I'm glad you do something kerbear - but it sucks when your body doesn't do what you want it too. I'm on higher meds this time cause mine didn't work well last time either. But at least we know how our bodies will react and can get it right eventually.
US next Friday doesn't feel too long - it will go quick and hopefully my body will be raring to go! I had 8 follicles 5 eggs - all fertilized - but only 3 were viable - and nothing to freeze and a bfn last time - so in hoping that the tender belly is a good sign the ovaries are working harder this time.
N2L - I'm so sorry you are getting bfn with poas. I'm guessing after seven ivf cycles you know your body pretty well, I will however keep hoping with all my heart that second line starts to show in the next couple of days. It's just not fair that someone has to endure what you are going through. God luck hun.
Vic - hope you are surviving the tww ok and on your way to your dream result next week.
Kerbear - hoping that a surprise iui cycle brings you a surprise bfp.
Hi to everyone else, thinking of you all.
I was thinking today that one of the things that saddens me most is not the jabbing, picking and prodding. It's that when getting pg is hard you are
Robbed of the privacy, romance and surprise that you start with. Oh and then I see a drink lady stumble on to the bus from the pub, laugh about being there all night and then sit down and rub her belly. How is that fair, we have popped the vitamins and done all we are told to yet here I see repeat bfn's. Sorry rant over.
Afm - my bt on Friday was a little more positive but speaking with the nurse I have responded to the drugs at half the rate as last cycle. God forbid my body do something predictable. Anyway it is slowly getting there ad I will have another bt and us on Monday. I'm at least starting to feel something happening so hopefully we will have one or two ripe follies - just in time for Dh to go back to work so I will once again be doing my crazy driving 2 hours to dtd and try to keep it hidden from bil and sil who live in that town. Guess I will survive just disappointed that if I had have responded quicker to the mess it could have been avoided for once.
Oh and Amy-jellybean I am too looking forward to catching up on Tuesday.
MissB - yay your tww has begun. Fingers crossed for you. Rest up and take care.
My turn - yay for jabbing. Bring on the perfect follie to become your perfect embie sand later your perfect baby.
Hi girls, I have been reluctant to do persies as there as soooo many of us gorgeous girls in here, I cannot keep up! But I will try and make some sense of the last about 10 pages lol
N2L- I'm not going to say anything about your poas as we've been down this road too many times with me lecturing you about giving up too early  so I'll just send a  and a :goodluck:.....it will be our turn oneday, it has to be xx
keta- urggh, so annoying, why can't our bodies do something predictable, just for once. Can't believe you have to drive 2 hrs to dtd, can't he express courier a sample to your house lol
myturn- I think that is a good sign- best of luck for Friday!
kerbear- shame you have to go back to IUI but it still has a chance to work so I will keep my fingers crossed for you on Tuesday
vic- I know that feeling too, it is very depressing, kids everywhere just not our own. I think you should poas before BT, plenty of people don't think they are pregnant but still get a bfp so good luck hun x
MissB-yay for being PUPO, I feel like I will never get there, rest up and let that little one do its work, hope your tww isn't too hard!
hi everyone else- I know i have missed lots of people I hope you are all going ok :bluedust:
afm- STILL on the pill, my last one is tomorrow  then wait for AF and I will be finally able to add myself to the list.
Saffy I think your post to n2l was the sweetest thing.
And your efforts at perseries was well done (I'm never sure if I get everyone either!)
Saffy - Yay for your last pill tomorrow.
Keta - Your so right about the lack of privacy and the joy of knowing your UTD just between you and your partner. It feels like everyone is on this journey with me, however we have only told a couple of people this round. Its harder trying to keep that secret too with everyone asking when are we going again. I know it all comes from a place of love though. Frustration plus for our bodies not organising themselves quicker. On here its more uncommon for someone to actually be at the right stages at the right times. Glad we all have someone to share our ups and downs with. If my DH has to go away (now he tells me 8-9 weeks) for work it will be awesome if I was UTD now so we dont have that worry in front of us, but of course that would be too easy, and not how my body works.
myturn - good luck for your US on Friday. We are all praying that you have great numbers.
Kerbear - Fingers crossed that it works this cycle for you. And you have multiple follies this time, so thats something new and different from the last times.
N2L - What you said about POAS really helped me. I really understand what your saying and after 7 goes I can fully appreciate why you do. Dont give up hope of being a mummy. My best friend had her DD (now 2.5y) on her 8th and final cycle. Her DH said after 6 years (3 naturally, 3 IVF/ICSI) no more and that cycle she got one egg. One! It obviously fertilised and did what it had to do. She was doing ICSI and had tried pretty much every single way they can think of. She has endo, arthritis, other medical issues and her DH has slow swimmers. She tells me if she can get pregnant then everyone has a good chance.
AFM - After having a bit of a cry (well a big one actually) and a cuddle from DH I feel a bit better. I cant believe how emotional I have been this last week. Hormones are totally raging and giving DH a glimpse into what it would be like one day if I was UTD. He just cuddled me really hard and asked if I wanted to help start painting the outside of our new home. So off we went to buy paint, and I got totally into it. Scrubbing the walls and rolling on a new colour. I said to him, I just wish it was the nursery. I have really listened to your comments girls and have decided to POAS tomorrow morning. Its a clear blue one that we got (on sale) and it says from the day of my period, which in theory should be Tuesday if not on prog pessaries. Do you think it will still show up? Still not sure on how I will cope, but its better than hearing it on the phone at work I guess.
Have a great night. I will try to get on tomorrow afternoon to let you know how it went although if you hear someone sobbing from SA that would be me :(
Vic, just wanted to send you the biggest cyber hug ((())). I think the time in the 2WW is quite hard because all of a sudden you have EVERYTHING riding on this test! I will be doing a POAS too, probably a few days before my BT date. I wish you all the luck in the world with your test tomorrow hun, I really hope and pray there will be hysterical happy screams coming over from the land of SA tomorrow!
n2l, sorry I got your BT wrong hun! Just more reason not to give up yet, still plenty of time to see that second line :crossfingers::pray:
kerbear, all the very best with your IUI on Tuesday :crossfingers:. I shall see you in the 2WW thread soon! I hope there are lots of fast, super duper swimmers from your DH to catch that eggie!!
Keta, GL with your u/s and scan on Monday! Hope all goes well for you :crossfingers:.
Saffy, bring on the AF!!!!!!! And bring on the exciting stuff :)
myturn, very optimistic for your follies hun!!!! I hope you get many and many eggies too :crossfingers:
AFM, what should have been a relaxing day, it was spent running around after DS. I know that it's OK to pick them up (the theory is that if you're used to the heavy lifting it's OK to continue) but I'm just very nervous about it and avoided it today. Of course DS lost the plot at bed time, as mummy gives big cuddles and a good night dance for 5 minutes or so before he's put into the cot. Poor chicken, I felt so bad and wanted to race in there but DF stopped me. After running around most of the arvo, I am a bit sore but not sure if it's still from the egg collection. (.)(.) still very sore.
Hi to everyone else!
b xoxox
Hi girls,
Im in the middle of the country until we go home tomorrow but the pub DH's dad owns has internet so I thought I would jump on quickly!
N2L - Sorry you dont feel like this month is going to be your month. I totally understand what you mean about preparing yourself, but ive still got everything crossed for you for you BT.
Miss B - Woo hoo for being PUPO!!! Im so excited for you love!
My Turn - I know what you mean about the Puregon. I had my first one this morning and my stomach has been killing ever since! Last time I was only on a daily dose of 100 and this time im on 250!!! My tummy feels very tender and ive had a headache all day. Although it could be the heat as well as it was 38 here today! Will let you know how I go as the days pass.
Vic - Good luck for you POAS tomorrow, ill be stalking to see how you went. Just remember it might still be a bit early!
AFM - Well jabs started today and as I said above my tummy has been really tender. DH watched very intrigued by it all this morning (god knows why, he has seen me do it plenty of times before!) I told him when we get home tomorrow I am going to get my spare Puregon pen (does have any medication in it) and give him a jab in the belly so he knows what it feels like!!!! He wasnt so keen!! Im looking forward to my BT and ultrasound on Thursday to see how everything is going. My clinic is right on the waterfront and I only just realised that it is going to be manic up there on Thursday being Australia Day as they have the fireworks there and everyone gets there super early to get a good spot. I have to take DH to the airport to go back to work on Thursday morning so im planning on going straight from there to the clinic. Anyways ive rambled enough, hope everyone is having fab weekend! xxx
Jumping on quickly to send a special big big bear hug to Vic and n2l as it looks like you need it, I am putting all my positive energies your way that your poas show up those 2 lines you hope for and have worked so hard for.
Hi lovely ladies,
Vic, thinking of you today and wishing you all the best with your test :crossfingers::goodluck:
Amy, yay for finally jabbing! I think that was the part for me that I thought would never come (oh, and AF as well hehehe). I was saying that I too had the horrible migranes but I think they fully kicked in when I was jabbing twice daily.
Hello to all the other lovely ladies :)
I am a bit sore today, I really think it's the pain associated with EPU. I feel bloated and my tummy is uncomfortable and it feels like I have a combination of cramping pain and muscular pain. And I'm really gassy too! DF wants to go out again today because the weather is so good, but all I want to do is rest.....last night we had a visitor in our bed, I've no doubt it was because he went of to sleep so late and was generally unsettled. He stuck to me like glue and I was so hot I had to take off for the couch. Ah well, it was more comfortable there!
Hope everyone is having a great weekend :)
