Hey Melissal thats fantastic news congrats!!! wishing you all the luck in the world ...
Hi all,
Melissal - that is great news! GL for the rest of the week hope it all goes well.
Loops12- i hope everything went well for you today.
Mum-2-be - Hi this is my 2nd round and have found bloating to be common after a couple of days on the injections. I have a lot more ovary pain (feels like that is where it is:lol:) this time round and i'm very emotional. Just walked in the door from work and burst into tears DH thought something was seriously wrong:lol: Everyone reacts differently, GL with it all.
Laridoz - GL to you also, hope ET went well.
ATM - i am an emotional basket case today:crying:, getting anxious about fridays scan, which i then have a job interview an hr after my scan.
All the best to anyone else i missed:D
Murraycod - Thanks babe!!! And I see you are cd10 already!!! when are you having ET???
Emerald Star - You are a noodle!! *hides from the crazy lady*
Lairdoz - I hope your ET went really well today!!!
Melissal - YAY for those numbers I hope they turn into wonderful embies now!!! I will be  for you when is your ET???
Loops - I hope all went well with your EPU today I am  that you got a wonderful amount of follies xxoo
mum-2-be - The waiting game until you start the injections drives me fricken bonkers I hate waiting I am soo soo impatient!!!
danyelle - GL in your 2ww!! When are your BT's??
littlegem - I hope all goes well next week now is the waiting game...
JBM - will you be starting again next month???
Renee - I was the same up until last weeks scan!! And to have a job interview an hour after OMG you are insane :P
AFM - Last FSH today last synarel tomorrow morning Ovidrel tomorrow night then wait till EPU friday morning ... I am currently on drs orders of 1L sustagen ( I throw it up so have now changed to biggest loser and it actually has a higher amount of protein I still gag though haha) and 2L of other fluids a day! I have never peed soo much in my life LOL!! Sorry prob TMI but thats me in a nutshell atm!!
Hello to all the ladies I have missed xo
Melissal - That's great news - hope you are resting now as it takes a bit out of you and you need to rest for the new bubba about to settle in. I would be interested to know about the empty follicles as my cousin also went through IVF and we were just talking last week about what the ratio of empty follices is/should be.
Loops12 - Hope everything went well for you today.
Renee - Hi! big hug - hope you start to feel better - I am sure that Friday will be fine and that you will be great at your interview.
Emerald Star/Danyelle - Hope you aren't going insane just yet!
littlegem_98 - Hope the injections aren't too sore and those eggies are growing nicely.
mum-2-be - I hope you are getting excited in preparation for next week.
Hi to anyone I missed :)
AFM - My embie grew from 8 cells to 12 before the transfer but I told the embryologist I didn't want to know as it only gets me attached and hopeful which makes any negatives even worse! After I finished the nurse came and the first question she asked me was 'do you have any other embies in the freezer' - I wanted to slap her! didn't make me feel too hopeful then!
Do we have to transfer to a 2WW forum? I haven't found one if I am supposed to go there!
Lairdoz - That is the last thing I would want to hear after ET!!! I hope your 2ww goes fast and there is a thread here https://www.bellybelly.com.au/forums...dec-jan-7.html
Miss K - YAY for tomorrow's trigger, you have lots of nice, healthy eggies brewing. I hear you on the peeing - my clinic recommends drinking up to 3L a day and I swear I spend half my day in the loo , has worked wonders for my skin though!!!!
Renee - the ovary pain really took me by surprise in all my naievity, but wow Mon night after I'd triggered, my belly was HUGE. Trousers that were too big were snug, thankfully now not quite so bad. I have been lucky, DH hasn't had to put up with too many emotional outbursts from me, next few weeks will be a bit different as I'm not too good on emotional stress. Wow crazy woman - scan followed by job interview - GL for both!
Lairdos - ugh, I HATE it when you make a concerted effort not to find something out and someone goes and ruins it :shakehead:. All the best for a nice sticky lil bub though. Yeah, I'm quite curious about the empty follies - DH said I went through heaps of test tubes - they had to go and get another lot of them cos I filled up too many, dunno what, if any, significance that has.
Littlegem - thanks hun
Loops - hope all is well
Well EPU was fine - I can honestly say I don't remember a thing. All I remember is having the drugs and the ceiling wouldn't keep still. I was told I'd feel drunk but thats the worst spinning room ever!!!! The ceiling vents were swimming before my very eyes and then . . . I woke up. Bit sore now but I guess thats only to be expected :o
Melissal - I think they should refer to it as you will feel like someone has slipped something into your drink and your on a merry go round that won't slow down hehehe!!!!
Is coming to you live from under a doona with winter pjs on and pillow and bucket with me (sorry tmi), will explain why in a minute.
Saw gynae clinic yesterday and when i finally got called in (an hour after appointment time) i got stuffed around for a while but eventually they agreeed to doing a laparoscopy.saw booking nurse after appointment and surgery is booked for march 31st.
came home and had to deliver the puppies to the pet shop that wanted them.i was such a sooky lala.the little terrors have been a great distraction with everything that has been going on with mum.
This morning i did my pre admission stuff for the laparoscopy and then had my appointment for the lipoidal hsg.i swear a man must have invented them.took three attempts to get a drip in my arm-2 blown veins in the proccess.they started getting organized and my cervix wasnt in the right position so luckily they got the catheter in first try.didnt really want local anaesthetic down there and another pierced cervix.anyway they put the dye through and had a couple things they werent sure of,then did the lipoidal contrast, bad period like cramps during both but didnt ask for pain relief.good news is both tubes are clear :D bad news is ive been feeling like hell since.had a nannynap on sofa at DPs work and when got home went to have a warm bath to try to ease the pain.no help, as when i hopped in bath i had severe uncontrolable shakes to the point of being sick, even head was shaking.took about 15-20 mins to settle so i could get out of bath.rugged up and curled up on lounge coz i was drained.before dozing off had the shakes again and threw up again.had a nap and when i woke up threw up a couple more times.just wondering could it be a reaction to the lipoidal at all coz now its settled a lot, even the pain its now a bad ache.not sure whether to ride it out or ring the hospital
Hi Ladies, well I hope I don't get into trouble for popping back in over here. But I have missed you guys and.....just got my BT results and it was a BFN  Just wanted to let you know.
I may just be MIA for a bit while I pull myself together but just wanted to wish all of you (new and old) LTTTC girls the best of luck wherever you are up to. I will be hoping and praying for you all. Let's get a BFP to inspire the rest of us to keep going! xxx
Aww bj I am soo soo sorry babe!!! Take as much time as you need and know we will all be here to support you xxoo
BJ I am so sorry, I wish you had better news. Please know that we are all thinking of you and sending you lots of hugs :grouphug:
trubabe, I'm sorry to hear you've had such a rough day! If you are continuing to feel better then I guess you're probably safe. I'm just not sure if you should ring the hospital anyway just to check it's normal? Maybe if you call and start it with, "I'm not sure if this is normal and just wanted to check rather than taking any risks" or something like that? I'm not sure how a lipoidal hsg differs to a normal hsg since I've never heard of it before? I never had any sort of reaction like that after my (standard) hsg... I had a bit of mild cramping, but could have survived at work (if not for feeling emotionally drained). If you're at all unsure of whether or not to call the hospital, I'd say do it just to be safe. Better yet, ask your DH to do it. Doesn't sound like you're up to it anyway. :comfort:
BJ, I'm so sorry to hear your test was BFN. Take all the time you need, we'll be here waiting for you to return. :grouphug:
Melissal, glad to hear EPU went well. FX for a great fertilisation report tomorrow!
Lairdoz, congrats on your transfer!! GL with the 2ww...
Miss K, GL on Friday!
BJ darling i'm so sorry, :comfort: I hope you are getting and giving plenty off huggs, take it easy, I wil be thinking of you.
Trubabe did you end up calling the hospital??? Sounds pretty nasty what you are going through. I hope you feel better tomorrow X OOOh and sorry you had to say goodbye to your puppies, they will be going to good homes though X
Melissa I hope you wake up tomorrow with some nice healthy embies XXX!!
Well done!
Lairdos YAY for your thaw!!!! Great news, embie must be strong! Hope the TWW is kind to you, we are all here to catch you for when you fall of the sane pedistool to the insane one!XXX You will do great X! Good luck X
MissK Friday will come fast!
I am having my thaw in March, FS offered to do it this month, but my DH started harvest (we have 60 acres of table grapes), you see, i pushed the poor darling to his psychological limit last month, and during harvest he pushes me to mine! We both want to enjoy the crazy IVF experience so March is better time for us to go it again X
Renee, take it easy on yourself the next few days, you are doing so great so far you are almost there! We all understand how you feel, so just let it out if need be here XXX
This is such an emotional and physical fight, we need to battle it out with our emotions sometimes, but don't worry, we are all here for you XXX
Littlegem, glad you got to start your inj today XX Good luck X
Mum2B, you will get the hang of it XX It took me a while, but I don't know what i'd do without the girls i have met here! One thing that took me a while to learn....sorry i'm a bit on the slow with computers, but when you are typing a reply, you can scroll down the page so you can review what people have written, that way you don't get as muddled!! Although sometimes I still do!XX
AFM, just waiting for this natural cycle to be over already, and it is still the first early half!!! To be honest, have been enjoying the BD'ing with no stress attatched!! And the wine!:D
BJ - awww huge hugs hunny, I am so sorry. Take care of yourself sweet
We got the phone call from the clinic about an hour ago - we're pretty gutted. Of 12 - 13 eggs, only 5 have fertilised. Don't know what to do with ourselves at the moment. The first part of this whole thing was so easy compared to this.
BJ - i'm so so sorry to hear your test was a no go.
Truebabe - Hi hope you are feeling better today, that doesn't sound too good. Maybe call your FS if your not too keen on going to the hospital (if your not feeling any better).
Murrraycod - thanks i feel really good today. It is a real battle sometimes, am so glad i found all u girls to talk to though, it is making the whole process easier.
Littlegem - GL with your injections this week, i can relate to that ATM.
Melissal, was that natural fertilisation? If so, can they try rescue ICSI? I think that can be tried (with mixed results) up to 24 hours after EPU?
Hi Melissal - only 4 of my 10-11 initially fertilised so I know exactly how you feel. No-one tells you before you first stim cycle that there are so many hurdles to go through. But on a positive note, I ended up with my DD as she was one of the 4, and on day 2/3 another of the embryos fertilised so I ended up with 5 in total. I am glad by FS didn't take them to blast given I had so few.
Truebabe - hope you are feeling better this morning
Hope to hear some good news from all you ladies today! :)
Hi wonderful people
WOW - so many people in here - gone a couple of days and can't keep up now.
Im going to try and keep it quick so that I can got back to the couch and recuperate after EPU yestie.
Emerald ~ thanks for the laughs - I'm going to need some good distractions this week. Hope your Eggies are doing well.:D
BJ ~ So sorry hun for you neg result - hang in there, it'll happen when time is right. :comfort: Big hugs
Mum-2-be - welcome and all the very best.
Melissal ~ Good work with the 13! Sorry you are disappointed that only 5 fertilised. I only have 1 more than you, dont be too dis-heartened as those 5 could be fantastic. We are all different - I only got 7 at collection. Hang in there and stay pos hun for your up-coming transfer. Big Hugs xo
Trubabe ~ Yuck, you poor thing. I'd be going to the docs but Im glad you are starting to feel a bit better. Im so pleased your lap result was a great 1!
MissK ~ All the very best for your EPU hun, FX and sending positive vibes your way.
Murraycod ~ thanks for your PM, Ive written back. I used to live at Swan Hill and work at Piangil
Hi to all those Ive missed and I wish you all the very best with your cycles.
AFM ~ EPU yestie went well - woke up feeling pretty good. They got 7 eggs and found out 1st thing this morning that 6 were mico-injected (ICSI) and they all fertilised. Not sure why the 7th wasnt injected - prob quality not strong enough. So 6 eggs that will hoepfully make to to blasty (5days), will be good quality and hoping we get a good transfer and some to freeze, FX. We have 1 less than last time. Was hoping for a little better but honestly can't complain with the result:D Transfer will be Sunday - Valentines Day!
