Loops12 - thanks again hon!...eagerly awaiting to hear your embie progress..FX!!
Lairdoz - what can i say....this 2WW IS dreadful....But hang in there love..maybe organise and plan a suprise Valentines dinner DH...i'm finding that this is pre occupying me at the moment.
AFM - Weeeell..here comes confession time. I POAS'd yesterday and thought waaaay tooo early but us serial POAS's don't really register the too early thing, so anyways knowing it WILL be a BFN i still did it!....there was a really really really faint line and you had to look at it in a certain position and squint with your third eye...but there it was...i tried not to get excited as i have copped a evap line on FRER before. Today with FMU..there it was again....very very faint but slightly darker than yesterday...i will now POAS everyday until BT...I am praying this is for real!!!!!PLease GOD please!!!

Emstar - How exciting that you have a feint line on your BT! This is just a quicky because I'm at work. I haven't written in a while as I've been on hols and since being back at work have been flat out. But I am still looking in and reading how everyone is going. Can't wait to hear what I am sure will be terrific news from you soon. GL

Advice Please
Hello Ladies!
Trust everybody is well. Sorry, no perssies, I'm going to have to go back and catch up on what's happening in here!
I really need some help. A couple of weeks ago I completed by first IVF cycle - :bfn: - and have been told that I have to go and see my FS. When I asked why, they said so that we could talk about what happened. Now, I know what happened. I was there. It happened to me.
So I need some / all of you ladies to tell me the real reason for going back there. What do you all think about the follow up appointment? Is it necessary? What happens when you go there?
I would really appreciate any help / advice anybody can give me.
Cheers
MF

Brunette - Babe, good to hear from you and thanks...i am still walking on egg shells though!!
Moonflower - I know how you feel and understand....however as far as i know there are protocols involved with this IVF' stuff..before you can proceed for another cycle they cannot prescribe any drugs to you until a FS has seen you...they will go over your last cycle and he will tweek afew things...and then your on your way! Are you going for attempt number 2??
-
Ooooo, I'm getting excited - is this our first BFP for 2010?
Moonflower - the follow up is important to assess what happened clinically and decide on a course of action for the next cycle (they may want to fiddle with your protocol a bit).
trubabe, I hope you're feeling better.
-
Emerald Star - PLEASE LET THIS BE OUR FIRST ONE!!! We all soo need something to happen in this thread!!!
Mum-2-Be - I hope AF arrives for you ASAP so you can get on with everything, mine took an extra 2 days to arrive I was soo annoyed!!
Melissal - 2morrow is the day wahooooooo I will be  for you xxoo
trubabe - I hope it all gets better soon... Which FS are you seeing atm??
Loops - I hope they are forming nicely !! Not long now!!
Lairdoz - Stay in here that is my theory too!!!! I hope this 2ww goes fast for you!!!
Moonflower - I hope your doing ok... I know it might seem depressing to go there but I am sure they are doing it to try and improve where you were last cycle...
Juniper - I didn't realise it helped with follies!!!
AFM - soo excited I could pee!!! Actually I have been like 10 times already... I can't wait for tomorrow to be over!!!! I just want to know everything thats going to happen I am scared about the going under even though its a short time I always fear I won't wake up....
-
Thanks for that Emerald Star. We are unsure what we're going to do. I wasn't even keen on doing the first cycle. DH and I are yet to discuss "where to from here". I see though that you might soon have some good news for us all. I'm keeping everything crossed for you. Even my eyes! *chuckle*
Thank you also Marcellus and Miss K. I appreciate you letting me know and am grateful for any information about this process you can give me.
Ni-night ladies!

Hi everyon
Im in the process of my first round (hopefully last) of ivf. im using an egg donor and had the egg retrieval yesterday and ended up with 9 fertalised eggs. i was just wondering if you can give me some advice as what to expect when they do the transfer?
Thanks
-
Emeraldstar :crossfingers: that this is the one, you are so much braver then I am I have never been brave enough to POAS as every other time I have done it I have gotten a bfn even when I had my early miscarriage I didn't get any more then one line. Keeping everything crossed for you.
Sorry no other personals have been super busy with work and this is the first chance I have had to get on here.
So I am 12days into tww and still have 5 days to go that is if AF doesn't arrive on saturday as that will be 14dpo. Have been keeping busy with work which is good and just really trying not to over analyise everything I have been suffering from insomnia lately, not getting to sleep till 1-2am then awake at 7-8am have had sore bb's on and off for the past week and also been tired through the day. I don't seem to be bloated like I was last time when I did get pregnant don't know if that means anything or not.
Got a little upset today as got on facebook to find one of my friends is 6weeks pregnant it is amazing how her and her DH just decided mid way through last year they were ready to start having kids and now she is pregnant already yet here df and I are decided 3 1/2 years ago and still nothing don't get me wrong I am happy for my friend but I just keep thinking when is it going to be my turn why can't it be that easy for me.
Sorry bout the rant just needed to vent to people who would understand what it is like.
Keeping fingers crossed for all you lovely ladies and hoping all our dreams come true soon.

wishingbaby: I notice that you have only done IUI's have you ever thought about doing IVF.
I did one IUI Jan 2009 then my DH did the DNA Fragmentation Test and we were advised to do IVF ICSI.
I know lots of clinics do Sperm Analysis but has your partner done Sperm DNA Fragmentation Test.

Hi everyone
Just a real quick message to let u know, had scan this morning and i already have 7 mature eggs with 5 @ 14mm so close enough. I also have quite a few which are smaller than 12mm. So EPU will definately be monday morning:) Off to my job interview now, i'm exhausted already!
Emerald star - Wow i hope the positives continue, that is really exciting!
-
Well ladies I am out woke up this morning and the witch had arrived told Df he was gutted I hate having to give him the bad news it is so not fair. Had my cry in the shower hoping he won't notice as it just upsets him even more.
Danyelle I have thought about moving onto IVF my FS has even said she would like me to do it but at the moment I haven't got the funds. I have just recently got engaged so all our money is either going to house payments or savings for the wedding and honeymoon with a little going towards this IUI cycle but even now it could be a couple of months before I have the money to do another one of those.
So for now I will be MIA wishing all you lovely ladies the best of luck and hoping you all get your long awaited BFPs very soon.
-
Emerald Star - Ohhhh.... I am getting really, really excited for you - yay!'ing that this is the one and that you are the first of many to make it onto the hall of fame for this month/ year! I have all of my fingers and toes crossed :crossfingers: for you! Good Luck :goodluck:!
Sending lots of ::bluedust: and :stickyvibesboy: to all of you deserving ladies oxxo

Hi ladies
Lairdoz ~ Thanks hun! It is for a good cause, well worth the anxiety. Same goes for you, hope you're hanging in there, not too stressed. GL with the TWW :stickyvibesboy::stickyvibesgirl: Doesnt sound funny - I get like that 2 - just really want my own child.
Emerald ~ excellent hun, hope that line just keeps getting darker and darker and that you are the 1st for 2010!
I'll be able to be added to your BT results list soon YAY
Brunette ~ hi, hope you're well!
Moonflower ~ Like the others have said I think its important so you can ask them any questions you might have and so you can work out with them whats best from here etc. GL and I hope you get some answers and can do another cycle ASAP.
Tammara ~ That is an excellent result! Transfer is a tiny bit worse than a pap smear for most people and it is also quite interesting because generally you get to see the little embie floating in. Dont be too scared and all the best!
Wishingbaby ~ So sorry AF arrived. GL with the wedding plans, thats very exciting!
Renee ~ Sounding excellent so far! GL, hope they keep doing well. Hope your job int went well too.
Hi to everyone else and big hugs
AFM ~ Got the call from the nurse today about embies. We have lost one that didnt get past the 3 cell stage.
We have 5 others - that are all where they should be: 1 x 7 cell, 2 x 5 cell and 2 x 4 cell. At least I think that was what they were. But the nurse was happy with them, so I am happy:) She said the 4 and 5 cell ones will - come Sunday, probably be better. Here's hoping!! Transfer will be 10.30 am on Valentines Day! Yay
-
Marcellus and Miss K - oh how i hope so too..thankyou for your wishes!!
Danyelle - Have you POAS'd????
Renee - GL with EPU on Monday.....FX that all is perfect for you!!
wishingbaby - so sorry AF has arrived  ...save your money from the iui's and go straight to IVF is my advice..hang in there hon..it will happen for you soon.

Loops12 - thanks again babe!! Can't wait to add you to the list.... GL with ET on Valentines Day!!!
Sharee - Haven't heard from you girl...Hope everything is ok??
Melissal - How did you go with ET today ? ..hope you are well!
AFM - well like i said....i was going to POAS everyday until BT and today the line was fairly light, but visible..you no longer have to squint with your third eye..nor adjust the lighting..its there!! I have absolutely no symptoms..no sore jugs..no extra loo time...no nothing...occasionally some cramping but that is it!! I am praying this sticks and growS for 9 months!! :leap:

AFM- Ive been sick for the past 3 days with some sort of bug my D father inlaw brought with him last week when visiting, the ejections isnt to bad, all thou, while pulling the cap off this morning, the stupid needle got me in the finger  and blood Ozzied out everywhere, so thought id clean my finger with the alcohol wipe , dam bad mistake that stings!!!!. by the time it was all over, there was blood from one side of the room to the other, from shaking my finger from the sting... oh great 6 am start to the morning!!!!
Anyway got BT on Monday to see how the levels are going so hopefully we will have some good news by then.:crossfingers:
The plan for the weekend is to rest and some penadol, which im trying to steer clear off, and shake this bug by monday... now im off to bed...
hope you all have a nice weekend

Emerald Star - AWESOME news hun (said very quietly at this point, of course)!!!! I was actually thinkng earlier today that with so many of us in the 2ww at present, we must surely get some Feb BFP - here's hoping that this is the first of many - YAY!!! And yes, changes to list, I have my BT on Feb 23rd. I really think that BB needs a smily of a wee face biting on its nails an sweating bullets cos that will be me in a day or 2!!!
Loops - woohoo, go little embies, go!!! :crossfingers: that they are all going strong on Sunday!
Wishing baby - huge :comfort: to you love, its not fair. Be kind to yourself
Trubabe - hoping that you are ok and you have been checked out. Keep us posted when you can
Littlegem - p!ss to the bug!! Hope you shak eit quickly. DH managed to stick himself with one of my needles s he was recapping it, he was squeezing and squeezing trying to get a drop of blood out, and when he did . . . talk about fishing for sympathy!!!!! Its different when we do it to ourselves cos we've been dealing with jabs for days/weeks on end but he fussed about one :p!!! GL for your BT on Monday, fingers will b crossed for you
Renee - awesome news about your scan!!!! YAY to EPU on Monday, may you have lots of lovely little eggies!
Tamarra - I had my first ET today and honestly it was nothing to worry about. I'd heard it was like a smear test but I think it was less uncomfortable than that. My big prob was being so busting to pee and the US probe on my tum was not good!!! Basically just a speculum, catheter (with the emby) goes up into your ute with guidance of the US and gets popped in. You lie horizontal for about 10 mins then free to go and have a wee. I m a wuss and it was honestly no biggie - you'll be fine - HTH
MissK - hoping all went well for you today and you'll stay healthy
Ummmmm I sure I've missed loads of people so a big :hello: to you. ET went well today - we had a beautiful little 8 cell embie put back in and there is also another gorgeous looking one destined for the freezer. We also had two good looking 4 cell ones as of this morning and if they do the decent thing and have divided, they'l be heading the same way - woohoo!!!!! I'd said to DH that I would consider this cycle a success if we had some to freeze at the very least so I am a happy girl. Eeek 2ww :o
