Did anyone else get quite light headed on the nasal spray, I have that feeling of the first glass of wine for the night, just a bit slow I guess would explain it best.

I just started my nasal spray this morning too like you Springlola, but didn't get any lightheadedness, assuming I will get side effects though. Feel excited that things are finally happening, this is our first IVF cycle so don't quite know what to expect.

loops I did my charts for ages before having C, before seeing the naturopath I sometimes ovulated late day 25. She regulated it for me, so maybe with all the hormone stuff it has just messed up the time you ovulate.

danni-girl yes we all have days or nights like that. I even have a 2 1/2 year old that keeps asking for a baby. So the pressure is on. F'xd the next night out you have with them, you can announce some exciting news
DIR I have read people AF being later, mine was a couple of days early. So I think it can go either way. Glad to hear the job is going well and no more headaches
oneday86, my nurse told me (cant rememeber the word she used) something stays in your system, plus when I was going to do a back to back and couldnt my ovaries were still active and I had about 3 or 4 follies whilst having my period so I think your back pain etc is just left over hormones etc in your system.
amy-jellybean blahhhhhhhhhh rude nurses and docts, get some bedside manners or find another profession. I know I seem to get more follies on the side I am due to ovulate on. Your FS should be able to answer your questions about the inactive side, obviously you want to know why. Glad to hear your results have gone up.

Kass I sometimes, have no trouble with injections, no pain, no bruises and then I hit a spot and think ouch that hurt and end up with the worst bruise.

Saffy..it is my first cycle too we're doing IVF & ICSI . It very exciting...my biggest fear is not producing enough eggs to fertilise..well for now anyway. I'm sure I'll come up with more fears adn worries :p
Trishy..I already have a small pollop in my nose already as well..I'm sure my light headedness was me trying to make something of nothing LOL

I know what ya mean, I was at a 1st birthday party few weeks ago and there were about 80 people there and all the couples either had kids there or were expecting. There were kids and babies everywhere and was all baby talk - very very hard but I was proud of myself for going in the first place.
D.I.R ~ The summit was great, thanks. Made time go quick :) but I think I was asked about 3 times - so do you have any children.
Im happy though and excited about our next try with IVF just around the corner and trying to DTD as much as poss in the mean time. I do have reg cycles usually but around 32-34 days (ive always been that way). Im excited for you in starting your cycle very soon - not long now, GL. Enjoy your time in Brissy - im sure you deserve a really good break from work etc.
Oneday ~ thinking of you today and :crossfingers: for a great transfer. I tend to get lower back pain when I O and when AF comes. It could be your O'ing.
Amy ~ Nothing worse than rude nurses and dr's. Some of them just have no compassion at all and dont think either. I happy for you your bloods are good though and sounds like you have some nice follies developing, hope you get some more to. FX and GL hun!

SpringLola ~ GL on the synarel, it's horrible stuff but over time it does seem to get easier. Well at least I found I got used to it anyway. At the start it would give me headaches and I guess a little light headed, struggling to remember. All the best!

Trishy ~ thanks hun, my O'ing has usually been pretty regular but I guess you never know after a while of fertility treatment. I hope the headache has gone. xo
AFM ~ Still dont know what my body is doing, im at CD20 and did Maybe Baby this morning and not O'ing according to it. Perhaps I just missed it. Im trying not to stress about it at all and just looking forward to our IVF in Oct - with i guess injections to start very soon.

Pick up either fri or sat and day 5 transfer again
Had bloods haven't surged so take the extra injection to stop ovulation from tonight
Hey ladies well after a few nervous days its all over now and up to my body to do its thing. Transfer went well and the main thing our last little 6 day embie survived :) I had acupuncture this morning before transfer and again after transfer and that too went well. My blood test on saturday for progesterone was good too but they done another today just to make sure and they are still happy with my levels so no progesterone support needed at this point. Thanks for your support ladies and i hope to be seeing some others in the 2ww thread with me :) xx

AFM waiting is ok at the moment. Hopefully my little embie is still growing and getting ready to snuggle in. Have a sore back and pretty bloated though and my throat is killing me to the point of me wanting to rip it out. Nearly one week down with one more to go

Terry ~ thanks heaps hun xo. Maybe baby is the saliva test - i usually just go by that and also normally extra CM as I usually get a fair bit. Im not too worried and as it so happens earlier today I had quite a bit of CM (sorry if TMI) so perhaps im just O'ing late and coming into it now. Think we'll have to go to bed early tonight ;) Im hoping all those things are pg signs for you, FX. GL for the rest of the TWW and hope to see you with BFP next week!
AFM - think my body is finally starting to O now ... CD20, although feeling slightly lightheaded this arvo so maybe already caught the eggie. Wouldnt that be great! Wont hold my breath but.

just a very quick one from me as I'm on my mobile in the way to my parents house. I called the clinic about an hour ago and woo hoo trigger is tonight!!! We go in on Wednesday to have my eggs done and dh's sperm aspirated! I had an ultrasound done today and I had some good size follies 20mm and 19mm ones!

Just a quick question, I had to make up my cetrotide injection tonight and I had a bit of trouble and lost some. It kinda bubbled up out of the vial, has this happen to anyone. Stressing a bit that I havent got enough of a dose and may surge.

trueblue who would have thought that we get excited about AF when we are waiting to start our next cycle.
I'm stuffed my mum rang me at 230 am to tell me my brother is in hostpital, he has a bad chest infection, fluid on lungs, asthma and low oxygen levels. My mum is a bit of a drama queen, it could have waited to the morning but no she calls me a 230 and again about an hour later. I am stuffed. I went to see him and give him somethings, he is not doing too bad, down about bing in hospital and had to spend about 10 hour on a bed in the ER before he got moved to a ward.

I feel like I have been away forever. I kind of lost it there for a while. I am still feeling a little down. I have even been thinking that maybe I am getting cold feet. Well I was just getting over my little hissy fit when I went to the FS yesterday. It certainly didn't help with my frame of mind. It turns out he had prescribed me the wrong drug in my last cycle. He has put me on crinine after transfer for my coming cycle but had me on pregnyl for the last cycle. I questioned him as to why the change in drugs as i just wanted to understand what is happening. He then preceeds to tell me that he did not put me on pregnyl because he never does that. He double checked my records and discovered that yes i was precribed pregnyl. He could give me a reason why. So it has rocked my confidence in the whole deal now.
So yes I did get over my bit of a hissy and I am going to go ahead with my next cycle but I am not feeling confident in my FS and am trying to decide now if I will go to another FS or just plod along here. I also wonder if the mistake cost me the possibility of a BFP not just the cost $$$ of a full stim cycle that didn't work.

Wantaminime- I've been prescribed pregnyl both for trigger and boosters in the tww. Seems to be normal procedure at my clinic.

Wantaminime, im glad your back i think after such heart break you do loose some confidence and positivety, its only natural i think. Im on my 2ww on my last frozen cycle out of our first STIM cycle and im very nervous and really just dont know how to feel after loosing our first pregnancy last cycle. Last night i watched one born every minute on sbs and i cried so much (brought out all my emotions) and after the show i was just sitting there thinking and thinking like i do all the time now about 'will it ever happen for me'? I always believe i will but sometimes it just scares me to think 'what if'. So don't be hard on your self, give your self time to deal with the situation your in because this is the HARDEST journey that we are going through. Best wishes xxx

WAMM good to hear from you and don't feel like you are the only one who's resolve waivers from time to time. I think quite a few of us feel that way. As for the pregnal it shouldn't make a difference. I have had cycles with both pregnyl and cronine so have heaps of other women.

Ive had them before but I woke up to go to the toilet early this morning and looked at my arms and went WTF!!!

AFM ~ Maybebaby test came up positive for O'ing last night so we DTD - CD21. Then this morning on Maybebaby absolutely no sign of Oing, very weird and strange. Im hoping that its all over the place because we've already caught the egg. FX. If not maybe last night will do the trick. But otherwise I have IVF start to look forward to very soon, start with injections next month I guess, not long at all. YAY

Just a quick update, we are staying at my mum and dad's tonight. The nurses wouldnt let us go home without having someone else staying with us. I must admit, its nice having mum make me cups of tea and warm up my heat pack :dance:
Well we have some wonderful news! They found quite a bit of sperm in DH :clap: They said we have enough sperm to fertilise our eggs and enough to freeze for another 2 cycles.
I was a bit disappointed with my results. On the Ultrasound it showed that I had 5 eggs on each ovary but they only managed to get 7 out of me.
I have to give them a call tomorrow at 2pm to see how our little embies are going.

Congrats Amy! thats great news to hear you and your DH got good results :) dont be disappointed, considering its your first STIM cycle and your levels started off low i think you did great. I will be thinking of you and look forward to hearing how many fertilise!!! xxx

I've got my first bt tomorrow - only a few more morning jabs to go. I don't know about everyone else but I am really looking forward to having a sleep in! I normally have to be out of the house by 7 3 days a week so I've been doing all of my shots before then. I am not a morning person and being up so early every day is taking its toll!

woohoo I love how my body works like clockwork 12 pm today i got and for once there was a welcome wagon waiting fopr her dh thinks I have gone quite mad as I I yelled woohoo from the loo he's so used to me bawling when af is here. Just thought i'd pop in and give you an update. I called the FS earlier on and they said that 5 of our 7 eggs were injectable and of that 2 had fertilised.
I must say im a little disappointed, but as my mum said, it only takes 1!!! Fingers crossed. I have to call tomorrow and they will let me know whether im having one transfered on Saturday or Monday.
My blood test has been scheduled for Wednesday 1 Sep, so even though I havent had transfer yet, im already in the TWW!!!

ok lots of questions got the stuff in the mail and this time I am on puregon at night time and then day 7 start orgalutran and then for trigger its Ovidrel and then I am on crinone pesseries what are everyone's experiences with these side effects and how to deal with them? I have only been on puregon and pregnyl for trigger and boosters... cheers

You are on the same drugs as I have been on this cycle...except I didnt have the Orgalutran.
I just found the worst parts to be the severe bloating and back ache, and in the last few days I got really moodie.

True ~ Ive been on Ovidrel and Crinone. Ovidrel was fine to inject - had no probs there, I think it gave me some small side affects e.g. sore bb's. Struggling to remember but I dont think it was too bad at all. Crinone - Im sorry but I hate with a passion mainly because it gave me bad constipation and also itchyness. But I had to have extra in the end to try and get the embryo to stick. I hope you are ok with it. Its all worth it in the end with a BFP!! xo

AFM today ~Dont know whats going on - ive got lots of AF symptoms and my temp is low too. Very strange as my cycles are normally 34 days approx and im only at CD25. Also did saliva test again last night and it indicated i was still O'ing :wall: So we DTD again last night just in case ;)

Just an update, transfer is tomorrow. They said that because I only had 2 embryo's they didnt want to risk letting them go to blasto and dying.
