    Hi Ladies

    Wow a new thread.

Trishy - FX you can get a baby sitter. Do you have family or friends close by? I can't help you with your trigger question. I haven't gotten that far as yet.

Hey Trishy I was crampy after my trigger too - like within a couple of minutes, right up until now. Had my egg collection yesterday so I am still bloated and sore - seems like this is gonna be how it is for a while!

Good luck for your egg collection, really hope it goes well. What a stress having to think about babysitting on top of everything else - my clinic doesn't let anyone bring children even to their tests/scans etc and I often wonder how people manage who have kids! Hope you've been able to call in some favours and it's all sorted now.

my egg collection went well - much better than I expected, my laparoscopy last year was much more traumatic with the general and bad pain afterwards. I am fine now, they said 4 excellent looking eggs so they stopped collecting (we only wanted to use 4) but it did hurt a bit at first until the pethadeine kicked in! It was an issue that so many of hte follies were smaller due to be being only on mild stim, so thankful they had enough of the big ones.

After the first bit of pain I don't remember anything including the whole part where they showed us things on the screen - just as well DH was there but he was so surprised that I have amnesia for like the whole thing. I thought it was only a few mins in there and it was actually like 45min! Apparently I was so sedated I wasn't breathing much so the nurse was trying to wake me up by talking to me and I remember I started going on (half teasing DH) about how DH is really squeamish about medical things and was he looking okay, how he can't even watch House on telly and might need to leave at some point. Then the nurse started getting worried and saying oh maybe he should leave! I was like 'oh no does he look green then? is he ok?' (stressed now) and nurse didn't say he looked okay and started telling a story about a husband who fainted and broke his nose... by now I was really worried! DH said afterwards he was mortified and didn't know how to explain to them that he was quite okay and that I was being a bit squiffy on the drugs.

Ringing for my results at 3pm today... so nervous!!! If there's only one fertilised they planning to do a day 2 transfer (tomorrow) or if more, day 5. I was reading more about how 50% of embryos that look okay at day 2 still have genetic problems, so if you do day 2 transfer it's much more likely to fail. As you can see I am prone to overthink, wish DH was here for this!

    xx

hey all i hope you are all doing ok. i have a question.does anyone know if a nk cell blood test can be organized by gp or is it only through FS. havent got another FS planned for a while yet but when i got results of my lap gynae said it is possible with my long cycles that i would probably have nk cells but that they couldnt do a biopsy for it publicly so i thought maybe if a got blood test done first and then went from there depending on results we might know more before startng ivf. and my cycle is still even more screwed up for about a year my cycle has usually been about 8 weeks, last cycle was 6 weeks.now this one i had spotting for a couple days around cd29 now four weeks later when af should be rearing her ugley head i have heavier spotting than last time but not heavy enough for af.hpt are neg.got a gp appointment on monday to try and figure it out

trubabe sorry cant help you with that one, this bing my 1st cycle and all.

Saraz I over think too, so you are experiecing cramping too. DP is on holidays this week, starts a new job next week so we went out for lunch and I was cramping so bad i was convinced the trigger worked too soon or something. I am so excited for you that you gote the 4 good size eggs you wanted. Sounds like the nurse you had was good and treated you well, after I read your other post about your experiences I am glad you got someone like her.

We sorted out babysitter kind of, but means DP cant stay with me after he has given sample, he need to rush home and get daughter and drive back and get me, pain in the butt.

My fs is doing a 5 day transfer, so my transfer is on Wed.

    Hope you got excellent results.

Porsche inlaws live close, but they are the ones who cancelled on me. But FIL spat it at his wife so they will watch C but DP has to be back home by 9:15 to get C and drive back and get me, pain in the arse.

    Hi ladies

Trublue I think the NK testing has to be done through your FS and from what I have read and expereinced they usually wont request those tests till you have had a few failed IVF cycles. No harm in asking though cause I guess each doctor etc is different. Glad to hear that your body is starting to behave itself again and wishing you heaps of luck for the rest of the week

Saraz your story is so funny can you imagine the sorts of things the nurses hear from us when we are sedated. I remember my DH telling me that I cried when they told me how many eggs I got. I cant remeber a thing. Hope that all your eggs are fertilised and you have a really good one to transfer back

Trishy good luck with yor transfer on Wednesday hope the little one sticks nice and tight for the next nine months

AFM will be trying naturally this month so I'll be keeping DH busy this week hope we can catch the little egg coming down. If not I guess that means I'm only about 4 weeks away from starting again. Its been nice to have a break do some normal things and not constantly worry about where I'm at and what I have to do next. Having said that though I'd trade it all in for a BFP
