Hi Ladies
Thanks so much for all your beautiful wishes and for comments about the signature. You guys are the best!
Tei ~ So happy for you hun :leap: Goodluck. Im still so nervous but you just have to take it one day at a time and do your very best to eat well and drink plenty of water. I dont think we'll stop being nervous until we reach the point where our babies could survive if the came early.
Maruschke ~ yes I think it was 140 at about 17dpo?
GL to all you lovely ladies, we all deserve BFP's and I hope you all join Tei and I very very soon! FX'd and :stickyvibesboy::pink-babydust:
AFM ~ scan today was good, was so nervous going in. bub is measuring only 6wks 1 day, a little stressed over it because I thought I was further along but then again my cycles can be long and get up to 36days so it is hard to know. I also have a friend that went in for a scan when she thought she was 10 weeks and the same sonographer (or whatever they are lol) told her it only looked like 8 weeks and she has gone on a lot further now. We saw the tiny flicker of the heart beat :) at it was at about 115 to 120 BPM.

Hi all,
Just a very quick one as I am on my iPad. I haven't really posted in here for ages. I had three cycles break and have been waiting, and waiting, for AF to start again. I got to cd49 but I am very pleased to say I started to bleed yesterday (woo hoo!)
Anyway, so today is cd1 and I start my jabs again on cd3. I am doing another antagonist cycle but my FS has reduced my gonal f dosage from 450 to 262.5. She says that the higher dose affects quality of eggs and if I am not going to get high numbers either way, I should try to make them as good as I can.
Trying to be positive but it's getting harder every cycle.
I have booked in to see a fertility natropath - Ruth Trickey - who is meant to be good, but I couldn't get an appointment until October 23 so won't help this cycle. Might give acupuncture a try though...
Looking forward to getting to know the newbies but nice to see some familiar faces in here. May we all "graduate" really soon!
Talk soon x

N2L I was stalking you while I took my breakfrom BB, hoping you would get a BFP. Let's hope this time you get success!
Anyone been tested and know what their AMH is? Mine was on the low side (6.1) for my age (28) and I don't know how many more fertile cycles I have left???
-
Thanks Maruschke!
Well done on your BFP :D
Last time I tested my AMH it was 17.9 (about a year ago).
-
Hi everyone
N2L- just my 2 bobs worth- Ruth Trickey is amazing. I'm impressed you got in to see her at all. She used to be a midwife and is Australia's leading gynaecological naturopath- she literally wrote the book on it- you'll be in great hands with her.
Good luck!
X

Thanks Josie :)
According to her receptionist, she doesn't take new patients at all, unless they come through my FS (they do research together). Hopefully it will help out!
Hope everyone is well :)

Hi everyone!
Marschuke - I am having my AMH levels tested on Wednesday. Fx it is ok. Do you know what it should be and what are your options since yours are lower than optimal?
I have a couple of questions.
1. To tell or not to tell! So as some of you may know Im early in this whole process and we start FSH injections once AF is induced in the next couple of weeks (using provera). DH is very caring and supportive of me but prefers that we keep the fact we are needing treatment to ourselves. I think he is worried about judgement and the pressure of people asking if it has worked, etc. I on the otherhand think Im going to explode if I don't talk about it. Im a typical female and like to talk! So my question is - from your experiences what has been the most therapuetic, telling family or friends or keeping it all quiet?
2. My other question I should have asked the fs but my head has only just stopped spinning enough to think of it haha. Does anyone know why we would have been skipped past clomid and straight on to injections. My fs said something about clomid being the 'nice way' and the injections being the 'good way' but from what I have read there are a lot of women here that have started at the clomid level. I have a diagnosis of PCOS and have only had af 3 times in 14 months.
Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks

Hi Keta,
I can only comment on the first one love as I havent taken Clomid before. We told all our family, friends work mates etc wat was going on last time because I wanted a good support network. However going forward with our next attempt we wont be doing that. I found it very hard having to tell everyone that we were unsuccessful and having them constantly asking questions stopped me from being able to fully relax.
Next time we have decided that we will only tell my boss (he is very aware and supportive of what we are doing), my jobshare partnter (i need to be honest with her so its easier if I need to change days etc), and my best friend who is amazing! I dont think we are even going to tell family. It will be nice to be able to suprise them if we are successful and if we arent then I will already have support from the people I choose to tell. Everyone is different though. xxx

Amy_jellybean - Thanks for your advice it was really appreciated. We decided to tell four people (my parents and two friends) so that we have some support if we need it but don't have to deal with everyones pity or questions. Im feeling much more positive after talking with my friends who have just been so so great. Im truely very lucky.
Loops - I hope your pregnancy goes well and you can enjoy every moment of it. Congratulations.
Saffy - Glad to hear your holiday went well. Im so sorry that you are back in hear and hope it isn't for too long. Good luck hun.
Hi to everyone else.
-
Just popping in quickly to ask you ladies if you have a preference for either Pregnyl or Ovidrel?? Ovidrel is easier, obviously, Pregnyl is cheaper (at least for me, about half price).
Keta - I have only told my bestie. I wouldn't tell my mother if my life depended on it (long story), it is just better that some people do not know.

Hi Ladies,
It has been an interesting week for me! Wednesday I went for bt's (came out looking like a human pin cushion) and was meant to start provera ready for puregon injections once 'af' arrived. BUT later that day the clinic called with some exciting news - I was ovulating in the next 24 hours! I still can not believe it since I have only had af 4 times in 14 months and then the random day I get round to going for my bt it fits in with O. The only problem was DH was working away for a few days and had only left that morning. So we had some sneaking around to do and for the past two nights he has had to sneak off without work mates noticing, drive an hour and a half home just so we can get to it and then get back there for a 5am start! The joys of LTTTC ;) So now for the first time ever we have a TWW that we know about. DH says if it works he is starting a bank account for the bub just to say thanks for saving us further costs with the fs
Hope everyone is going well.
-
LOL that's awesome Keta.
I had my FS appointment at 6 am this morning. He is away for two weeks so we are sticking with clomid + trigger + iui this cycle, but he said next cycle to fix the mucus issue we had to move to FSH? Why is that? I know the success rates are higher but it seems a bit "serious" IYKWIM.
-
Hi - in FS's chair as I type, waiting for scan.
I know clomid can cause issues with cm and lining. Maybe that's the reason???
N2L
-
Well IUI bypasses CM, so I guess he is worried about my lining, even though it's been fine. What does FSH do?
Good luck today N2L.
-
I'm using fsh injections if this natural cycle doesn't take. For me I think it is the lining issue as when I get af it is very light. It comes in a pen like for insulin so hopefully less stressful!
