Hey ladies can anyone help? i have done it before but cant remember that far back, im doing my ovidrel injection tonight at 11:30 does anyone know if i need to get the air bubble out? or just inject it into my belly with the liquid? im pretty sure last time i just injected it in?? im worried if i try and get it out then some of the liquid may come out and i will be screwed!
I think its made to be given with the air bubble- so it all goes in, good luck! ( I do remember stressing about the same thing when I gave mine) xx
yup, i think i remember that you didnt have to get the bubble out of it. i was petrified about wasting it too!!

Haven't been on here in ages and thought I'd check in. Oneday, I too have EPU tomorrow and have Trigger tonight at midnight. I haven't had the Ovidrel before and am having it tonight too. The nurses didn't specify anything different as I had asked if it needs to be intrmuscular(?) and she said no, just take it as per your usual shots. I plan on trying to 'flick the airbubbles out and then maybe squeezing the TINIEST of drops out before injecting. My only concern is if I hit a tiny blood vessel (which I have only done once - touch wood - in the cycle and all it did was create a massive bruise. In any case, I am taking the instructions to bed for a bit of light reading and will try and get some sleep before midnight (but doubt it) Good luck!
How many follies did you have on your scan? I had heaps but most of them small due to PCOS but FS said we could be looking out about 8 good sized ones

Hi to everyone else. I'm sure I will have a bit more time over the next few days to catch up on everyone. I have been MIA as I tend to get a bit obsessive with BB especially when cycling so thought I would take a step back for this cycle. I hope you understand what I mean.

Oh this is all so confusing! I'm sure that the nurses must think we're all nuts obsessing over the smallest detail as they do it every day but my last trigger was different and they seemed to emphasise getting the bubble out. Arghhhhhh!

tantee is your EPU 2mo or tues??? mine is tues but you need to inject the ovidrel 36 hrs before EPU, just above you wrote 2mo so was worried for you!! I had about 15 follicles i think which are pretty good sizes, i cant wait for tues to be over so i know how many eggs! goodluck with yours and will be seeing you in the 2ww :)
What clinic are you with tantee? im with westmead :)
Oops, I meant Tuesday. It's kind of like I am discounting tomorrow altogether as I have no shots or anything to do. Thank you for your concern....I think this process is sending more than a little loopy! IKWYM about wanting Tues over. I am having twighlight anaesthetic although my clinic generally has sedation/local offered so that DH can be present. I told them that I am more than happy to forego that experience and just go to sleep during EPU. If there is any part of this journey that I don't have to be awake for, I am all for it!

pheww!! i know i get a bit a taken back not having to do anything tomorrow either but its good! With my first STIM i was put to sleep which was great but now that i have swapped to westmead they don't do that so i will most likely be half out of it but may fall asleep which im hoping for as i dont want to remember it lol. And DH can't stay with me at all :( he has to drop me off at 8:30 and he will get a call to pick me up when im ready so i will be on my own for 3 hrs! before my op as its not till 11:30, im so scared but know i will be ok.

AFM - after 10 days on provera AF arrived early (was meant to be on provera for 14 days) hope it coming early is a good sign for this cycle. I am doing atagonist again and will start the puregon Monday. I am still not fully over this whooping cough but I am alot better so I think I will be ok doing a cycle, lucky I am not working at present and I will just be able to rest up. Only have a little more xmas shopping to do which I will try to get out of the way this week. Other than that I am selling anything thats not nailed down on ebay to make some extra $$$ for xmas.

Can i ask what are the side effects of OHSS?? iv read up on them but wanted to know from ppl who have actually had it what symptoms they got? Iv felt alot more bloated this time and have wondered if maybe i have a mild case?? im just hoping its from my ovaries being so big? xx

AFM: As I said to Saffy not many follies there for. Not sure how I feel about it, its unlikely they will cancel me this cycle just run with whats there, if the numbers dont change with an antagonist cycle they say I'm just not a numbers girl..:o...so I gues I have to hope for quality. Have another scan today to see how their growing, hopefully the 2 little ones have caught up a bit..trying soooo hard to be positive. But I can see DH going for the unsnip :shhh:

OK, I have had a bit of a read back and tried to catch up but it is very hard as it has been so busy, so I am sorry if I miss anything/anyone...
Saffy - so sorry to read of your loss. It makes it all that bit harder when so much has gone into TTC. My thoughts are with you. I hope you have a nice week away and spoil yourself a little bit. Sometimes a change of scenery, although certainly no cure, is a good way to help take your mind off things a bit. Big hugs to you.
Spring Lola - how did you go with your scan today?
Nicoleh - thanks for the well wishes. GL for this cycle. I too have had a cough for the last 7 weeks. Was tested for Whooping which was negative but had slightly high influenza levels (I had the flu shots this year as I knew I was doing IVF). I was worried that it would affect my cycle but they didn't seem all that bothered (even if it is driving me crazy). Enjoy your Christmas shopping. It doesn't seem as though the shops have reached that crazy period yet.
Aimee - GL for EPU on Wednesday. Hoping that plenty of fluids are keeping that nasty OHSS at bay. I tend to stim high and find a real difference when I drink heaps.
Kaybee - Best of luck for tomorrow.
Kass - I'm sorry that your last cycle was so devestating. This TTC stuff is such a rollercoaster. Have you decided how you will move forward?

LOL thats funny tantee, goodluck tomorrow for your EPU i will be thinking of you :) Im off to bed early tonight as i set 2 alarms for 11:30 for my trigger last night but was so scared i would sleep through it that i didn't sleep then after i done the trigger shot i layed there tossing and turning for an hr as you do with all the things going through our brains lol. So i will try and get on here tomorrow afternoon once i get home to let you all know how i go, not sure how i will go going back to work on wednesday if im really sore like last time! but if i am will call in sick. Ok talk real soon ladies xx

Oneday and tantee - good luck for collection tomorrow! The trigger always makes me a little nervous - I thought it was not a good idea to inject air bubbles? I always clear the air first - though maybe I'm wrong if no one else does that! Oneday - my clinic says no liquids at all 6 hours prior, but that's with twilight which it sounds like you're not having? Is it too late to call and check?
Kaybee - hope your blasties are going well - is your transfer tomorrow?
Springlola - how did your scan go? Hope the smaller ones have caught up
