So, odd question for you all...does anyone else have REALLY painful Ovulation on Clomid? Mine is worse than period pain at times. Bizzare to ask I know, but I was just wondering...

I thought I lost you ladies for a minute and the tammara (yay ur UTD!!!)pointed me to this new thread. Phew! You ladies are my lifeline on this TTC journey.

Keli, I'm on day 16 and about to O too so we might be 2WW buddies!

    Porsche, are you OK?

RiChiChi I have my fingers crossed that you get a result that can help you move away from the unexplained....

AFM, doing lot's of OPKs and BDing. This will be my first complete cycle after my lap, so I'm hoping DH's sperm swim quickly through my tubes and get that egg! I've been teaching a few ladies prenatal yoga now and I'm loving it and hoping all the nurturing I'm doing for them will helps my body start to do some nurturing of it's own! I so want to experience what they are going through...fingers crossed that it will happen soon.

    Babydust to you all!

    Hey all,

Hope you are all enjoying your weekend. We went out for lunch today for my brothers b'day to a winery and it was lovely. Glad to just sit back and enjoy the moment

Bec - Last cycle I had extreme pain on CD14 (which I assume was O pain) to the point where at times I had to stop what I was doing and sit or curl over. Is gonal f an oral medication or do you have to inject it (sorry for my ignorance)

Maz - Best of luck catching that egg!

I will pop in sometime Monday & let you know how we went with the S/A

    Morning Ladies,

Hope you are all well and those BFP ladies have had a fabulous weekend.

Porsche - is everything ok? Haven't heard from you in a few days. I have everything crossed that AF didn't arrive on Sunday and that you get a Positive BT very soon so that it is confirmed.

Hey Tamarra, how was your first weekend expecting? Have you told anyone yet or are you keeping it to yourselves for a little while? Ahhh I still cant believe it, I am so happy for you and DH. Is your cousin wrapped also?

Rhi - GL for today, looking forward to hearing your results.

Mez, yes I am now on day 18 so we are one day apart. We can defiantly be TWW buddies, and hopefully BFP buddies. This too is my first "proper" cycle since the opp, so fingers crossed.

Bec, I am back on Clomid this month and experienced very painful O last night, never had it before on Clomid though, bizarre!

AFM - Pretty sure I O'd last night, got a positive OPK on Sat (& another one on Sun) and was in a lot of pain last night on my RHS which is fantastic cos it's my LHS that is blocked, so we DTD last night and will again tonight as my temp has not yet gone up and I'm very hopeful this month. Could be setting myself up for a fall but all we really have is hope so I guess I've got to try.

Quick question – does anyone know how soon after O is your temp supposed to go up? Does it mean that I didn’t O last night if my temp has not yet gone up?

Thanks ladies, GL to all xxoo

Keli - Awesome news about Oing! GL catching that egg. My understanding is your temp goes up AFTER you have O. So I would say that since your temp didn't go up then you haven't O yet.

AFM - Got DH S/A results - all clear. Kind of in two minds about it - happy that there is one less force going against us but upset that it would seem that I am the whole problem Oh, well we will continue to keep trying this month & next and if nothing then back to the GYNO/OBS & probably get a lap done.

    Hi Mez Moz & Keli

Yep all is going well. Been really busy the last few days. I've been POAS everyday lol. Every time it's saying BFP. I did a digital one yesterday and within 30 seconds it was a "pregnant".

So nope AF didn't arrive. And i think it's safe to say I am UTD! I'm not going to have a BT. I have a post op appointment with FS on the 15th so I guess if she wants to do one then, then it will be confirmed but I really don't think I need it. I think 7 + are pretty clear.

As for your O question Keli. Your temp should go up straight away when you've O'd. It's not neccissarily a huge jump. it could progressively go up over a few days. Are you on FF?

I'm going to keep my FX for you ladies. Your BFP is just around the corner.

Hey Porsche, I’m so glad to hear all is going well for you, that is fantastic. Yes I would tend to agree that 7+ is a pretty good indication, lol I love it!

Yeah so my temp was at 36.3 this morning and whilst that is not low it is also not that high, mind you my temp has been all over the place this month so I’m just confused now. I got a positive OPK on Sat (& on Sun) so am thinking that I have O’d but we’ll keep DTD just in case I haven’t. Seriously it all just so confusing.

Rhi, that’s good news about DH but yes I can appreciate your frustration. I certainly feel like a bit of a dud sometimes 
Good luck with the next few cycles then and yes if not the a lap sounds like a great idea.

Oh Porsche your “fertility friend chart” has just given me hope, mine is currently looking almost exactly the same as yours. I had a few higher days at the start of my cycle and then have been a little low recently but is perhaps back on the rise today. Fingers crossed.
Thanks for sharing that with us, how do I attach mine?

    Hi Keli

I'm glad it was able to help you. I used look at every body's chart and compare mine to them lol.

To attach your FF chart you need to go to "sharing " on the left hand menu on FF and choose "home page set up" and then at the top you'll see a link for your chart. Copy and paste it into your reply or into your signature.

Whoo Hoo Porsche!!!!! BFP!!!! That's so awesome!

Keli, I think by the time your temp has gone up, you have O'd, so it happens sometime between the low and the peak.

Francesa Naish's book, Natural Fertility, has a whole chapter dedicated to basal temp charts, so you might find that book helpful. But be warned, some of the other stuff she says in that book is very full on. When I first read it I thought it was the fertility bible, but now have realised that you can still fall pg without making drastic changes to your life (well it hasn't happened to me, but there are plenty of people out there who fall pg all the time without following this book's advice!)

AFM, I think I'm about to O any minute now as I've had a OPK+, so going to DTD every day until temp goes up and no more OPK+s. Like Keli, I'm feeling pretty positive about this cycle, probably coz I know my tubes are squeaky clean now after the lap and with clomid I can be sure when I'm Oing. And I've bought a karma sutra book, so hoping that will igniting a fire that results in a BFP lol

Oh yeah, I also get major O pains that last for 24 hours. Thing is, DTD is the last thing I want to do with these pains but that is the perfect time!!!

Babydust to you all. Let's bring on some more BFPs!!!

    Hi ladies,
Porsche & Tammara- so glad everything is going well! I'm glad I'm not the only one who is obsessed with POAS, and I'm not even UTD!

Keli & Mez: I'm currently about 3 DPO, so we are all (almost) TWWing! Nice

Keli, gonal f is an injectable med. My understanding is that it's the same drug they give when they are maturing eggs for IVF retrieval, but I would take a smaller dose to aim for only 1-2 follies. Hopefully I don't have to do that!

Mez, I know what you mean about the o pains and DTD! Generally I just want to curl up in a little ball with my heat bag!

Anyway, I hope you're all well. Talk soon,
    Bec

    Morning Ladies,

I hope everyone is doing well.

Apologise but I am about to give TMI as I have a question for you all. Last night after DTD, DH discovered that I had been bleeding as there was a small amount of blood on his penis. I went to the toilet to see what the deal was and it wasn’t a deep red colour or anything it was just a pale pink mixed in with some mucus (I know, I’m sorry I did warn you I was about to give TMI). I am currently on day 20 and have definitely O’d as my temp has gone up. So my question is has anyone else experienced this mid cycle? This is a first for me an I’m a little concerned about what it might be. It was our 3rd consecutive day of DTD so DH said that we must have been having too much sex, ha ha, gotta love him 
    Any thoughts?

Tammara, fantastic news again for you, woo hoo!

    Hi Keli

How many DPO are you? I've heard alot of ladies say they get that around the "implantaion" time. So implantation spotting. And you say it's around the middle of your cycle. Does that mean 7DPO? If it is then it sounds about right for implantation spotting.

I never had implantaion spotting (trust me I was looking for it) so I'm just going off of what other ladies have said at various times. I had a huge implantation dip at 5DPO which I had never had in my previous cycles.

    FX it's a good sign!

Hey Porsche, yeah I've been beggining to think the same thing myself. Trying not to get my hopes up too much but I suppose it is possible. I just think it is a little early for implantation. Will just have to wait and see I guess.
