So totally know what you mean. I used to temp too & that was even more agonising! lol Best of luck.

** sneaking out **
Thanks for the congrats ladies
Rhichichi - That is all HCG levels there might be a teeny tiny bit left from the pregny but most likely not. I'll have a scan in 3 weeks and we'll see how many are in there lol. Another BT next Saturday. So FX levels are sky high. I think they are high levels but I'm not sure.
Maybe Hope can shed some light????
SO SO SO SO SOOOOOOOOOO HAPPY FOR YOU AND HUBBY PORSCHE!!!!!!!! Im sure the next 10 weeks will go by problem free :) as will your coming 9 months I have a HUGE smile now :)
as for your hcg levels i think it is also high from memory my levels were under 200 first blood test i think so maybe there are two in there ;)
Hi LAdie
Thank you all for your congrats.
Tammara there could be 2 in there as we had 2 embies put back. But only time will tell. Another BT next Sat and we'll see what they say.
Hey Porsche CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!! That is such awesome news. Yay Yay Yay!!!
Hi to everyone else. Just thought I'd pop in to say hi and see how everyone is going. Good to see some wonderful news from Porsche!
How are you going Tammara? You should be due any day soon methinks???
How are you Rhi?
For those of you who don't know me, I finally got my BFP in March this year after nearly 2 years of trying, along with a few rounds of clomid and a laparoscopy.
I've just entered my third trimester so the count down is on. Every time I drive past my FS's clinic I say a little thank you to him.
Stay positive girls, Your BFP is just around the corner!
Aren't you having twins Hope?!
Three weeks Porsche - I hope that it flies for you!
Mez - I am going ok, just waiting for AF to leave the building then we can try for a sneaky BFP prior to starting IUI.....
I can't believe you are in the third trimester - my goodness time does fly! Glad ot hear all is going well.
Rhi: My last scan that I had said I was so I'm hoping that when I go for my 12wk scan monday week they will still both be ok. In the Belly Buddies Group I was far from having the highest HCG results that why I wasnt sure if I could give any more clarity on Porsche's levels.
It's official. Game over for me this month...14 dpo and bloody AF thought she'd pay me a visit. I hate that woman!!
Back to the drawing board...or should that be work bench???
Hope everyone else is having a better day than me.
take care x
n2l
It would be so good to get 2 for 1 porsche :) and mez i still have 10 weeks to go so we not too far apart. I had my egg transfer on feb 15. Im doing good starting to really feel pregnant - very heavy feeling but def not complaining, how are you going?
CONGRATS Porsche!! So very happy for you :) You are my first BFP since joining the forum, looking forward to seeing many more of you get your BFP soon too!
Sorry that AF arrived N2l. Like we said before, at least you ovulated, and just think, now you get to spend another month here with us :)
OMG PORSCHE!! YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY ! Congratulations! :)
OMG Porsche, I wasn't expecting a result until today, otherwise I would have come in and checked over the weekend!
WOOOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOO I am so excited for you honey, that is unreal. Yey to first round IVF. Congrates to both you and DH. How far along does that make you then? When's your due date? Can't wait to hear how many now. I'll be lurking!
Fantastic news, best I will hear all week I am sure!
Hi Ladies
Well I have been lurking around so I will try and do persies but I have been a bit scatterbrained lately so forgive me if I miss anyone.
Porsche - Wow, how exciting. Big Congratulations and keep us posted as we all love hearing good news. Hope the next 10 weeks don't drag out too much for you
Kris - How are you going? Did you get a reply from your FS yet?
N2L - Sorry to hear about AF arriving. What days are you taking clomid? Good luck and hopefully round 2 will be the one that gets you a BFP.
Mel - How are you going? Any signs of OĆ*ng yet? I didn't get any signs other than a temp rise so I guess I just have to keep a look out for that. No indication of that happening yet. FX'd that you O soon and that you catch the egg first go.
Rhi - Good luck getting that sneaky pregnancy.
Liz - How is the TWW going, Any signs or symptoms yet?
Bec - How is the new lifestyle going (sounds better than diet and exercise I think, lol)? Hope whatever you decide to do works for you, I now how you feel about a lifetime of struggling with weight. Even when I was playing waterpolo and training or playing 6 days a week I still struggled with my weight and I have never been a little size. Hopefully the new diet will change things.
Hope, Keli,Tammara, Pumpgirl and Mez (oh and Porsche)- Good luck for the rest of your pregnancies and please keep us posted on how you are going as it is good to see some success stories to keep us positive in this sometimes very trying process.
AFM - Well as I said at the start I had a terrible week last week (brain wise). Started with an out of town meeting on Tuesday that I forgot my handbag, work ID, phone number I needed to ring in for another meeting and even my pen, so not a very good start to the working week. I then got back to my office and couldn't find my USB with all the meeting minutes and other documents. Spent the rest of the week trying to track it down, ringing the venue, other meeting participants, searching cars and on Friday afternoon when packing up my laptop I found it in a place I am sure I had looked in at least 20 times. Felt a bit silly when I found it. The weekend was better, busy but good. Nearly won golf on Sunday which was a nice finish to the weekend.
On the baby making front my temps are still low but at least they seem to be consistent (ATM) for a change. Won't be doing any OPK's or Maybe Baby until I see a jump in temp as it just depresses me when they are negative so don't think I need that, emotional enough as it is (great SE that one), hot flushes are still happening though not as regular.
On the plus side I have lost 3 kgs this week so that is promising. Hopefully it keeps dropping. Was even naughty on the weekend so I am very happy.
Shan
Hi Shan,
Congrats on the weight loss!!
CD15 today, and I am confused (as always) with my body. Had some CM changes from late last week, but still no OPK+ or EWCM. Beginning to think that I may never get either of them even when I do ovulate, so not too stressed about it at this point. I am still getting the hot flushes, but otherwise just been feeling generally off and tired for the last couple of days, but that's just a bit of the flu. The other SE I have started to notice though, is the affect on my labido. It's practically non-existant (Dr said to expect this), and if it weren't for the fact that we want a baby, DH would be feeling very rejected and lonely by now!!
That's funny Mel cause mine has gone up and DH is getting sick of me trying to jump him all the time, lol, sorry TMI.
Hey Porsche, totally know what you mean about not relaxing just yet. I don’t think I properly relaxed until 20 weeks. Yey my birthday is May 2nd so that’s when I’m voting you have it/them he he!
Shan, yey for looseing 3kgs, that is unreal.
That's funny Shan! I wish I felt that way!! I did at the beginning of this cycle, but over the last week, I have slowly become less and less "interested". Not to worry though, I just start thinking about the little egg that could be lurking around waiting for a sperm friend, and I soon find the motivation! IYKWIM?!
PORSCHE- THAT"S SOOO AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was dying to get in and find out how you went but my internet decided this was the time to die so I've had to rush around to my Dad's on the way home! FX and best wishes for a happy and healthy 9 months!
WOO HOO!!!!!
WOW PORSCHE, THAT IS THE BEST NEWS, OH AND WOULDN'T THAT BE EXCITING IF THERE WERE TWO BABIES IN THERE. GL WITH HAVING A HEALTHY AND SAFE NEXT 9 MONTHS.
N2L, that sucks about AF showing up, but look on the positive side of things, at least you o'd this cycle and just have to catch that egg next time. FX'd for you hun.
Bec how are you going with the lifestyle change?
Shan, good on you for loosing 3kg, I seem to be able to loose the weight when I put my mind to it, but then seem to put it straight back on again.
WBM, that isn't a good thing with the labido thing, I must admit though, I was a little like that with my cycle #2 and #3. Hope it gets better and you catch that little egg.
Hi to eveyone else, looking forward to seeing more BFP's on here this month.
Well I have had a fantastic weekend with DH down the Gold Coast. Outback Spectacular was great and we had a free upgrade on our accomadation. We ended up being on the 21st floor, the next floor up was the penthouse. Well I'm still on my TWW and the temptation to do a POAS is getting to me. Just a little question , not sure who will be able to answer but. I got the triger shot last tues, and was to O within 48hrs, now ever since fri my nipples have been sore as, I mean even if I rub against something OMG it hurts. I wasn't sure if it was just from the injections, or was a good sign as it didn't start till a few days later. Anyway, if someone could help out it would be great.
Hope everyone has a grat week.
Hi everyone
Seems like we have been put back to the old thread. Just a quick one as I am in my phone but I rang for my bt results this morning and I o'd. Progesterone was 34 compared to 0.5 last month. Now I just have to wait a few days before I poas.
Hope everyone else is well.
where has the other thread gone?
I know Bec, I haven't been able to get onto bellybelly since yesturday morning. What is going on with everything???
Oh went to my FS yesturday and started the jabging again. And I will say that I was very brave as I had to jab myself. Which I did better then what DH did this morning, he nearly got slapped when he jabbed me it bloody hurt (more than what having blood tests do), so don't know what he did different, but he won't be doing it like that again in a hurry :)
Hope everyone is doing fine.
Hi Ladies
Gee i thought it was my dinosaur laptop playing games with me not being able to log on.
apparently they updated the server and lost 2 weeks worth of data!! :) i read it on facebook this morning lol
I'm not getting updates to my hotmail account either!
It's a bugger isnt it!!!!
Hope everyone is well...I cant remember where everyone is up to!!
Bec - did AF end up showing??
epayne - know what you mean about injecting yourself. I had to give myself a trigger shot of ovidrel last night for the first time. I was thinking DH would do it. But when I asked him he went green and said NO WAY!!! lol - After seven years together, I didnt realise he had a needle phobia!!!
I am CD17 today. I went to the FS for a scan yesterday. I have one big follicle on my right ovary that is (in her words) "about to pop". She gave me the ovidrel and I should ovulate by tomorrow morning. Also, my pre-seed arrived yesterday (just in time by some absolute miracle!). So it's BD time for me...Then we start the two week wait....again!!!!
I think everyone should post an update so we can re-familiarise ourselves with where we are all at!!! lol
take care all :)
n2l
I'm still in no man's land n2l. Still no AF so I guess I didn't ovulate. I'm waiting to hear from FS to see whether I still get the BT she ordered for CD2 to check hormones etc.
My last post on the other page was that my friend passed away on Sunday after a 9 week battle with cancer. They said she would have 6 months, but it was very aggressive. I was/am pretty devastated. We also spend Sunday in the Royal Children's with my DS who woke up SUnday moring crying in pain in his leg and unable to walk. After a long day of tests, turns out he has irritable hip, which is like a temporary arthritis. They said it would take 10 days to get well, but he actually pretty good today, just walking with a slight limp. So now we have three days to hang out together and enjoy eachothers company, and then 2 weeks of school holidays. Just what we all need I think!
I'm taking a couple of weeks break from BB becasue I wont start another cycle untill I've seen the FS in 2 weeks. I'll pop in and out, but I need a short break from thinking about TTC. I'll check in to see how everyone is doing and I'll be watching for BFP's!
Stay well everyone,
Bec
Hi All,
How annoying is this!! Just when I desperately needed some advice, we lose everything including my last post!
I got AF at CD27 (10-12 dpo) on Sunday. Certainly a first for me, so I don't know why, but I have a feeling that something went wrong. I had a slight pink tinge to me CM and I thought that maybe it was implantation, but by morning AF had started. All was fine and no pain when I woke, then at about 10am I started to notice I was starting to feel uncomfortable, and by 11am I thought I was going to have to go to the hospital, the pain was constant and unbearable! Not dull cramps like normal AF pain, but a constant sharper pain and Nurofen Plus did nothing to help! I ended up meditating sitting in the bath using the shower hose to run water over my tummy which helped. I eventually started to feel better and fell asleep for a few hours. Since then, the pain has come and gone a few hours at a time, but nothing as bad as the first day. I have literally gone through about 10-15 overnight pads (even during the day) since Sunday though, definitely the heaviest AF I have ever had by far. At first I just wanted the pain to go away, but now I am wondering what the cause was? Is this normal with Clomid?
Mel I can't really help you with your problem as my AF didn't really alter on the clomid, the metformin was what regulated it but it was still painful, but it wasn't any longer. I had an AF like that just before starting the metformin though and panadeine fort didn't even touch the pain, unfortunately we were away at the beach for new years so AF turning up after 5 months and that heavy wasn't really appreciated and of course I was totally unprepared.
Bec sorry to hear about your friend, enjoy your holidays with DS and I hope he feels better. Look forward to catching up when you come back (hopefully with good news all round, IYKWIM).
Hello to everyone else.
AFM- I am 11 DPO today and as I posted yesterday I got my bt results and I did O this cycle. Don't think I am UTD though, have had some symptoms but I think I am imagining them. Have had sharp stabbing pains for last 5 days, lower back pain, exhausted, occasional nausea, dizziness yesterday, my usual headaches and tender BB's. Will probably wait until Saturday to test. Will let you know the results.
Well I am off on a week and a half holidays but will check in on my phone while I am away.
Shan
Hey everyone,
My last post was about the fact that i have been on metformin now for 4 months and in that time have had AF for the whole time except for a 6day break when they stopped, i have tried to call my doctor to see what i should do but he is either never there or to busy to talk and i get told to call back and it is just one big cycle, so after crying for the last few days as it feels i am alone and have no help and am not sure whats going on i have decided that i am not going to waste any more time or money on that doctor and have taken the next big step and have made an appointment with sydney ivf, i have to only wait 3 weeks to see the fs which i was surprised at how quickly we got in, so now lets hope that we can start on a proper plan which is going to acheive results, as i am so sick ofthe wait and see approach that we keep getting.
I hope everyone is doing great whatever stage of your cycle your at and fingers crossed we all get our VERY VERY deserving BFP soon. :D
Hey all,
:( Bummer about losing all our posts.....
Bec - So, so sorry to hear of your friend passing and that you never had more time to spend with her. Enjoy your 'break' from BB & school holidays :)
Mel - I am with Shan, no change in AF whilst on Clomid. You sure you wern't pg? Maybe you should get an u/s & bloods to check it all out?
Liz - Best of luck with this cycle :)
Kristie - Glad you are moving away from that Dr - having AF all the time is not good - you could become anaemic..... Best of luck with your IVF appt.
n2l - Fingers crosse you catch that egg - good luck!
AFM - I am on CD 23 and will be expecting AF next week - highly doubt I am pg. Will try to come back tomorrow, as we are on holidays for a week and a bit & probably won't be able to get to an internet cafe etc....
N2L you are brave doing the trigger shot, I don't even think I could get DH to do that one, the needle was a good inch or so long. The nurse had to do my last one. Just a little question, why did you have it at night is that when the FS wanted you to? I had mine in the morning, but my FS did ask if I knew a nurse around home, so am wondering if it makes a difference.
Bec that is sad news about your friend. Did you get to say your goodbyes to her. Oh that would have been a little scary for DS not being able to walk, at least it isn't anything serious and you get to spend more time with him. Take the hols to relax and let your body recover from TTC for a while.
WBM not sure if it was from the clomid or what, but my last AF before I started the injections was unbareable and I took prescription Ibprofen to stop the pain, which only slightly helped. Don't know what was going on as all my others were normal, hopefully you weren't pg and lost bub.
Shan that is exciting news that you o'd. Hopefully you caught that egg and you will be posting your BFP next week.
Kristie that is good news that it is only going to take you 3 weeks to see IVF doc. And poo on your old FS not calling you back. That is one thing that I like about mine, if I have a question and no-one is available, either he or the nurse will give me a call back. Hopefully when you go you can start a fresh and move forward with your journey.
Rhi, fingers crossed for you hun to be pg. Have fun on your holiday.
How is everyone else going, hope you are travelling well.
AFM well DH is sick again, so I had to do my injection again this morning, which I am getting braver at doing. CD9 and day 3 of injections. I'm on the same dosage as last cycle and have to go back next mon for an ultrasound (for an update). Hoping I catch that little egg this cycle I am sooo longing to be pg and watch our baby grow up into their own little person. Sorry just feeling a little down in the dumps this arvo seeing all the pg people around me.
Looking forward to seeing some BFP's on here there looks like there are a few that will be ready to have tests in the next week. :bluedust: :pink-babydust:
Just jumping in to say I am so sorry Bec for the loss of your friend. It is horrible and she was so young (from memory you said 40??). It certainly makes you realise life is short and you need to enjoy every single moment. As Jules said enjoy your break. Will probably do your mind the world of good to take a mental break (if that's possible). Take care hun and we are here for you if you need us. xx
Everyone else, good luck this month - I keep checking in to see if there are any BFP's - I have everything crossed, you girls deserve a good result.
Take care everyone - good luck catching those eggs and to those of you nearing the end of your TWW.
Hey ladies,
Just a quick one to let you know I am thinking of you Bec, hope you are travelling as well as can be expected. That was so quick, I remember when you told us your friend was diagnosed, it was not long ago at all. Sending you massive hugs and hope the break is just what you need too honey.
Babydust to all, looking forward to seeing some much awaited BFP's on here very very soon.
Take care all
