LT TTC & taking Clomid/Metformin #5

Tasha~ Good luck darl with catching that egg, sending you out tonnes of baby dust and sticky vibes. The hot flushes would be horrible, maybe it's a sign that the Clomid is doing it's job for you to get your BFP this cycle. FX for you darl.

AFM~ 12DPO did another internet cheapy test this morning and it was a BFN, but it does have a faint positive line as well, not so faint that you have to hold it in the right position to see it as you can see the start of a +ive line if you put it on the table and look at it at arms length away. So if AF stays away from me for another 2 days I will retest again at 14DPO with my 1 and only FR POAS. This morning I am peeing alot and that's without my cuppa or any drinking, also had killer heartbrun this morning and had a couple of horrible dreams last night as well, I even had a dream where DH told me he don't want kids and that is so far from the truth he wants a bub as much as I do.And I have also noticed that every now and then my nipples get like a burning sensation in them and to go with that I have been having short sharp pains in the sides of my breasts and they also feel fuller this morning.
I just hope it's actually happening and I am NOT imagining it all in my head, I don't think I am though as the last thing I always suspect is a BFP.

I am due to start 4th round of clomid and thinking of changing my days from 3-7 to 2-6. Has anyone done that? I think it will bring my O date earlier, but no other issues.

Sorry...you may have already discussed this.....

Welcome Williever! How are you finding the Clomid. I always took mine 5-9, but once I took it 3-7 and found it made my cycle longer, not shorter as I'd hoped. Not sure if there is difference!

AFM~ Today I am at 13DPO and no sign of AF as yet, did another HPT this morning and the line is a little darker, I showed DH and even he can see it. I'm still only using the internet cheapies want to save my 1 and only FR for a few days time. Thinking I will give my OB/GYN a ring today and let him know I may FX FX FX be PG and see if he wants to see me again or just go into my GP for BT. Not sure I would be able to get to him in Toowoomba due to flooding in our area though. I'm praying I get a great bday present on Sunday a nice BFP would be wonderful.

with clomid is it definite I should ovulate?

Have you had the day 21 blood test? That should say whether the clomid is working. If it isn't the dr may change the dosage.

On my first round i did a BT already and it came back with 85 for progesterone which is good according to my FS.

I'd say you should be o-ing then. If the level is ok for one cycle it should be ok for the others.......maybe it will be a bit late? I hope so hun x

i hope its just a little late. My last cycle before clomid was 125 days long so i dont want a repeat of that.

Has anyone ever used Royal Jelly? I'm thinking of starting it.

Williever - WELCOME, I took clomid days 2-6 it made my cycle longer by 2 days but i still O'd on the same day sorry cant help. Yes i thought of Royal Jelly and went to the health food store and they only sold capsules and did not sell the fresh stuff in a jar which i heard was the best to use but i do know you can buy it fresh over the internet. Hope that helps.

mum2onesweetbun - You should O on Clomid or as Williever said BT on day 21.

m2osb- sometimes I o'd on clomid and sometimes I didn't, even on the same dose, and my o was all over the place usually cd21 but sometimes cd24 or later. keep checking with your OPK and it'll probably happen soon. Other wise go for your BT and if you haven't lready o'd, FS will probably induce AF and start again on a higher dose. I was told that clomid can be sporatic if you have PCOS, so if you have that it could be why things have changed a little this month. HTH

williever- I've never used royal jelly, but I've heard there are some risks with some types? I could be wrong though. I guess like anything check it out first. But hey, if it works and its safe, go for it!

I have just done my POAS with my FR test and I got a :bfp::bfp: happy bday to me happy bday to me. Now to hope and pray that our little rascal stays safe for the next 8months. I can't believe the Clomid worked first go for me, what a wonderful drug and whom ever invented it I owe a HUGE thank you to.
Now it's time to see the GP and get my referral to go and see my OB/GYN and see wht he says. I am just so over the moon about this 28months of waiting and in that 28months 26 of them were spent with out the help of an OB/GYN as no DR would refer me onto one.

Mollie~ My Ob/Gyn put me straight onto 100mg of Clomid from CD5-9, which I was shocked at a little bit as everything I have heard and read they usually start out on 50mg then build it up. But hey whatever works and it certainly did the trick for me. I do stand a higher risk of a multiple birth though as we have twins on both sides of our families so my DR warned me about it but whatever happens happens I'm just happy to finally be PG and praying every minute of the day that this little bub is super dooper sticky.

Hi to everyone else
Well the hardest week of my life is over finally and I am back at work (so this will be a quick one). Took my clomid again and the flushes started immediately which sucks. We are trying the DTD every day for this cycle and hopefully it works. Rang and got my BT results and I O'd so now I have an appointment with the dr on 3rd February and hopefully I will be pregnant or he will be booking me in for a lap and ovarian drilling.
Better get back to work.

Clairesmummy - Congrats again.. It gives me so much hope seeing that your first round you got a BFP. I am started on 50mg.

afm - Hmmm well AF was supposed to arrive today, and I thought I was getting it because I had a couple of cramps last night... But today nothing. No cramps, Not spotting.. NOTHING!! I was all geared to start Clomid tomorrow...Now I dont know what to do..

AFM, I am due to ovulate today. Last night had some small pains, mainly very tender lower tummy. Weird since last cycle the pain was so intense. We BD every second day since day12 and last night and we will again tonight. I've used pre-seed, stuck my legs in the air and taken my vitamins! PLEASE let this be it! It's so tiring! :lol:

I just found the last box of preseed probably in Sydney!!!!!! phew..........all ready for the next round! Also found vitamins much cheaper............bonus!

AFM - Im back had blood tests done yesterday and FS rang this morning my hcg was lower so she said early m/c. I have to have more blood test in the morning not sure what for think to check hcg. Obviously not ment to be the up side is after 30 mths of trying i can actually say that i can fall pregnant it took long enough hopefully not so long next time. Wishing everyone lots of baby dust and sticky vibes
