    Hello everyone,

Thought its time to stick my head in here ..."as much as i still call the 12 + thread my real home" i also have to face the fact that i need some help to get my cycle back on track as i have been struggling with way too short since i M/C my twins.

I took my first round of 50mg Clomid, while i was away on holiday ( without DH )but my Gyno told me to start taking it anyways so we can see if it is the right amount...it seems that i just missed out on BD when i O'd ( came back CD 16 ) ... i did have a BT on CD 21 and my progesterone Level is 34... i have no real clue what the progesterone level should be ...but my Doc seems to be happy with it ...

so now i have to wait on AF and then count back 14 days and i will use that, as an indication for my next cycle... where i have to take 50mg again... i guess the good thing is that i know that i wont have any side effects and that it worked ... and my gyno wants to do a CD3 and CD 21 BT again and may be a u/s... so i am just waiting waiting waiting... hoping it will end up being a 28 day cycle or thereabouts.

You you guys are happy for me to pop in here as well as the other thread

Gecko- Thought i'd just pop my head in and let you know i was told that the progesterone level 7 days after O should be over 30. After my last m/c my levels were 11 and 13 After taking the 50mg of clomid my levels were 35, 37 and the 3rd month i fell pg it was in the 70's. GL, and i hope it works for you quickly.
Mollie89- Have you o'd yet hun???
Tasha- thanks hun, i will be stalking...
GL girls, it's very quiet in here....xox

    Thanks for the warm welcome

Well i am on CD 26 today ... so that is good as i have a history of 19-24-26 DC ... so thank you Clomid and yay to no side effects ...

I am now wondering if it will affect AF in any way - i used to spot for 2-3 days before AF arrived and then she stayed for about 3 days ... are you still meant to spot when talking clomid ? or is it just like clock work like it was when i used to be on the pill normal flow from day one ? or is it different for everyone and i am just analysing too much LOL

Hi Gecko, I used to have a pretty normal AF (when it did decide to show) , but clomid has made my AF really light and spotting for about 3-5 days before for the first few cycles. A few girls here have said they experienced the same thing.
My cycles went from 100+ days to 80 and down to 40 days after I came off the pill. Since clomid my cycles are now 32 days

    Hi Gecko,

Welcome and hope your stay in this thread is a short one! Give us some good news to keep our hopes up.

Let me introduce myself. I have PCOS and have been ttc since Jan last year. My cycles have been very irregular with it ranging from 32 to 125 days.

Went to see an FS and had 2 rounds of clomid before deciding to going unassisted again.

I also have Insulin resistence and was perscribed Diabex XR which I havent started on.

This month is unassisted for me again.

I do have a gorgeous DD who was a miracle as she was conceived naturally very quickly.

Currently on CD12 so just hoping I ovulate this month.

So a big welcome to you, the ladies here are gorgeous and so supportive.

    thanks M2OSB !
Hope there will be another "unassisted" mirical in the making soon !

I am on CD 27 today had a little red/fresh blood ( sorry TMI ) last night but nothing really since so just waiting waiting waiting... for CD 1 to calculate O for my next cycle and get a CD 3 BT done ... we had 2 clomid BFP today in the other thread so that gives me hope that the Clomid might do the trick for me to soon !

    for all of us !
