thanks, ladies. sorry haven't been on much, still a bit shocked & hasnt sunk in yet really. seems odd at this stage... I have been ttc for nearly 6 years and gotten used to it not working, and now that it seems to have worked I don't know what to think. guess I just plod along until that scary first scan... xx
Andie, I was the same with DD. It wasn't until around 30wks that I started to believe we might actually be bringing a baby home (and started freaking out because we hadn't bought anything because I was scared it would jinx it). But even 2 months after she was born, I'd sit beside the cradle, watching her sleep and thinking I'd better not blink or she might disappear. As LT-TTCers, we become conditioned to expect disappointment and we become scared to believe good news. I hope that in 10 months time you are watching your precious 2-month-old sleeping too... :hug:

andie the pregnancy after miscarriage and loss thread is a good place to hide out in the early stages, we harbour a lot of nervous people in their first trimester there. It is too hard to go into bellybuddy groups initially so you can come and hide in there if you want x
Agree with saffy in fact we continue to harbor nervous people all the way through!! (talking about myself here!)

Yeah Andie, Congratulations!!!! I hope with all my heart that it goes smoothly for you, you deserve it!
So, just popping in here and hoping I can get some support or advice or something. So as you may know I am about 5 weeks post second d&c for a lost bub who died at 12 weeks. The first d&c I was about 13 weeks but had to go back for a second one as I had retained products and developed septicaemia. All I have read says that after the sepsis your pituitary is supressed so AF may not come for ages eg 6-12 weeks- so probbaly a bit longer than post d&c with no severe infection. I have also been told that becasue the infection was so bad and also had the 2 ops, that not a good idea to get back on the horse until January. I have an appt with my FS in Jan. My hcg has just bottomed out this week and I only stopped bleeding a about 10 days ago (this was bleeding that contiued from the d&c, not my first cycle)
Anyway... I think I might be ovulating. I got a smily face on a clear blue OPK. I never ovulate by myself except after an "event" eg sometimes i do after a medicated cycle. So I thought maybe the miscarriage might trigger an ovulation without intervention. So we DTD despite what the dr said. So do you think I could have ovulated?? Was it stupid to DTD and not wait for a cycle to pass?? I guess I'm in the TWW now, but not sure if even an egg did release (unlikely with my history), and even if it did fertilise, would the endometrium be thick enough to sustain it after 2 d&c's and bleeding for about 4 weeks?? I just can't help myself hoping that a miracle will happen.
Any thoughts??

Krikkit - I agree with blossom if you didn't have trigger shot to ovulate looks good.
I have got not symptoms but way too early for me I'm guessing. How many days did you girls rest for after transfer? I have been walking but want to do more.

all the AC was putting major strain on our relationship :shakehead: so had to give it up really, just doing O induction and progesterone with my baby asprin this cy .... now im 5dpo :rolleyes: will hopefully get to do ivf next yr

Poas today stupid really and got 2 lines quite dark but had trigger yesterday so to expected. Im 8dpt5dt don't really know what I was thinking been so good last 2 cycles didn't use evil sticks..
Anyway I know at least what 2 lines look like so much better than one!

Thank guys :). I guess I'm just going to hang out here and hope for my miracle but if it doesn;t happen it's to be expected, and hopefully it means something is happening with my hormones so may get to do a proper OI cycle in January.
Blossom- those sticks are SO evil. I'm a complete addict, but once I did forget about my tirgger and thought I was pregnant. Felt so stupid when I realised! I so hope for you that some of the second line was real proper baby hcg and not the trigger. When's your test?
Juniper- fingers crossed the cramping is for a good reason!
Sarah4Kurt sorry to heat that the AC has been tough on you and your relationship. It is so hard, and the financial pressure doesn't help (well with me anyway- that's usually what we argue about- cost of IVF vs OI) Hoping you won;t even need that IVF next year
Krikkit- hang in tere, you're so close. Hope that the line gets stronger for you. Have you had last ovidrel? I hate the progesterone pessaries, they're yuk, but at least you get to test properly. Good luck!!

How are we all going in here? Think I had a little twinging on my left side yesterday morning but may be my mind playing tricks. No other symptoms at all.
Just a question - how many sessions of acupuncture do you girls have in the tww? I have had one straight after transfer and one yesterday (4dp5dt). Wondering whether I should have another one next week maybe Tues before bt Thursday.

Not sure if you mean yesterday or last week...
Wednesday morning looks darker to me, but could just be becasue you've held the wee longer. If your trigger was last week though I'd be feeling optimistic. The good news is that when you test tomorrow morning you should have a good comparison to today's morning one, so only a bit to wait until things should hopefully be clearer. Keeping everything crossed for you!!

AFM, bloods that I had randomly on Friday (not for tracking, just my annual screening bloods) confirmed that I should have ovulated, so I'm pretty excited that my body did it by itself, and of course hoping for a miracle. But either way I am quite proud of my little ovaries, and pleased I get a freebie cycle. Will POAS on the 10th December. Will try and hold out until then but knwoing me I will probably start testing from 8dpo cause I;m an ADDICT!!
