It could be to early Emma. I got a bfp at 9dp3dt but it was very faint and I had very high levels throughout my pregnancy so thats prob why I picked it up early.

Emma, I would say too early - i have so far resisted the urge to POAS, it has helped that i have been so busy at work, not so sure how I will go tomorrow morning. Sunday will be 2weeks since IUI but AF is due Monday, do I wait or do i POAS??

    Thanks girls

I can do another stim- but we're broke!
I'm exhausted.... I want to move on....
    But I want another baby....
    So confusing!
I just don't really get it- my FS that she thought max 3 cycles.
    This is t/fer #5!

What underlying problem could I have for my embryo's not implanting?
We get great quality embryo's- so I don't think that is the problem.

Unless you are doing PGD (and even then) you can't really tell the quality of your embryos. Mine all look great too, but they don't implant.

I think it was Andie78 who always had great looking embies, then she did PGD - got 10 "perfect looking" embryos, but only one tested normal. The others were chromosomally abnormal even though on the surface they looked really good.

    PGD is done before freezing?
We did talk about it before my last stim, but my DH and I had an extensive range of blood tests which showed no abnormalities.
My FS didn't think we needed PGD.
    Maybe we do?

Sneaking in - Emma I had assisted hatching on my day 3 emby. Sometime the shell is too hard for it to break out of. The shell can be harder for women over 37 and with women with PCOS. When they put it in it was already hatching out. I also had a pipelly biopsy CD7 at the local GP office. I really believed the assisted hatching worked for us.

    Sneaking out...

    Thanks Vic!
Can assisted hatching work with a day 5 embryo?

yep - that was me... always had perfect looking embryos but after going through 4 stims & 10 transfers (with unexplained infertility) we did a pgd cycle. got 7 embryos to biopsy and only 2 were 'normal'. not saying that you need to do pgd, but it provided me with more information i guess. btw - we had all the blood tests too (karyotype, blood clotting etc) and they all came back normal too. we were told that our pgd results were what they would expect to see from a batch of embryos (ie they cant all be viable). also we were told that down syndrome embryos can look like the best quality. again, not saying this is the case for you, just agreeing with n2l that you really cant tell the viability just by looking at them/counting cell numbers. pop over to the pgd thread if you have questions, the ladies in there are more than happy to answer any questions (including me!).

    emma I am sorry xx
    what is pgd?
afm, still have not poas... I think I am scared it will be bfn and though I am not thinking I am guaranteed a miracle on the first cycle, I almost want to ignore this tww unless af is late. Am I crazy? saying that, I may poas tomorrow as it will be exactly 2 weeks since insemination. so confused lol
