Just a reminder to all: all LTers love seeing a fellow LTer achieve that longed-for BFP, and we all find hope in one of our own having success in this difficult journey. But please remember that there are those who cycled with you who may not have received good news at the end of their cycle. Please do not post baby/child/pg tickers or pg related signatures (eg blinking BFP icons) etc in this forum out of respect for them.

Wow new thread - in response to the last few emails - Avonlea - I did suggest to my DH that we go away this weekend - however, he is planting (farmer). so not a chance in the world!!

I had my US on Tues - my left side is doing nothing - literally, this month - except for being painful - my right however, has gone to town!! 2 dominent follies which should be released soon and apparently another 15 smaller ones - which won't do anything. My right is the ovary that usually does nothing!! This is getting all very confusing!

Hope everyone is enjoying the BDing this month!~

    Tommorrow is D day!!!
    Will keep you updated.
Hopefully i will get that Positive ive waited 5 years for!

Avonlea: You lucky thing it is a big deal for my hubby to DTD each month. Next month I am not even going to worry about the whole when we BD ...we don't have very active sex life anyhow and even the 3 or four times we do DTD now we are clomid and got things hopefully wokring its an effort.....

Want baby#2....oh so so exciting I can hardly wait for tomorrow...... for you hun...let us know

31BEc... My active side is my left everything seems to happen on the left..o pain. o itself and even the more dominant eggs are on the left ...although I think the right may be getting its nose out of joint as this cycle it actually producded one but still all the pain on the left

As for me well not sure if i posted it but I rang the preg test hotlaine and the lady who was really helpful said that if I on clomid I have to wait till I due to get a real positive. One before it is not recommended...I went and bought a super 10hcg level test and got a negative so i guess it will be in 2 more months for us I hope when we go again.
I thinking of having a break next month as I don't want a February baby.

Wantbaby2 - fingers crossed for you tomorrow.

Frustrated - you are not alone on the upset bit. Big hugs!

I have booked in to the beautician's tomorrow to get a massage! To try and relax myself and ease the pain around my lower back. I can't wait!!!!!!

Oh - is anyone else annoyed with people (who fall preggies easy) saying "when are you having kids, you better hurry up you are getting older and falling behind!!!" I think the next person that says something along those lines I might just tell them exactly where to go - it is sending me insane!!!

    Baby dust to all.

PS. I don't know what is happening to my tracker, I am actually up to day 15!

    1st timer - Clomid / Provera / Metformin

    Hi,

I had posted the below in LTTC but found this sub area that may be fits better (no one had replied). Any help is appreciated (now on D3 of Clomid - 6/7/09).

    Hi,

After having no period (or ovulation) for 6 months I had an ultrasound & blood tests and was diagnosed with PCOS. A specialist has prescribed Provera to kick start period and then Metformin and Clomiphene for ovulation. Couple of questions to the more experienced with these drugs...

    * My period off Provera is very, very light - will this matter? (CD 5 for Clomid is tomorrow 4/7/09 but concerned that period so much lighter than what it used to be - on pill)
    * In your/others experience... what are most common days of cycle for ovulation? Guess it varies from around D10 up to D20 but is this affected by Clomid?
    * Do OPKs work with Clomid?
    * My BBT is still all over the place, useless for ovulation prediction. Does this sound normal?
    * Any other advice? I am trying to eat healthily, drink less alcohol, caiffene, etc etc but still... it's already been a long time TTC and I know I could be in for a lot longer!

    Many thanks!
    Kim

    Hi Everyone!

    Hi Ladies,

im new to this all, ive had problems concieving,2yrs, give or take, .. but previous to that it was just unprotected, no counting days of when etc.. Am on my 2nd cycle of Clomid, im 25, married for 1 yr, & yes i sympathise with people who always hear the same thing, "when are you going to have 1?" & the worst of all is my friends who say "gosh a guy can look at me an im pregs" not very sympathetic knowing my condition. Which is PCOS have been seeing my specialist for roughly a yr..

Im glad i can read everyones stories & i can really relate.

I wish all you ladies the best of luck, this is not a pretty thing to go through.

    Take care
