    Hi Ladies.
I am new to the site, and a little nervous
I am on CD#1 and have to start clomid on CD#5. Can anyone help me on what to except?

A little bit about me, have had endo 5 time since turning 18, now 31. DH is 12 yrs my senior and has a daughter from a previous marriage. TTC for 12 months. gyno usually use put me and DH though all these tests, tells me no issues. Went to see FS and he takes on look and advises im not Ovulating. (I told this to the regular gyno ages ago after reading billings method but he didnt believe me!!!)

Can any one offer some me some advise on their first experience on clomid, I am terribly nervous!
    Thanks Ladies x

    Hi MrsA.

    Welcome to the thread!

My first experience of clomid was a pretty good one actually.

The only real side effect I had was hot/cold sweats while on the pills. Oh and being moody! (but dh expected that!) so yeah. You will be fine on them! the best feeling was when I got those two lines to say it was go time for bd-ing!!

    Well I'm in my tww!

Let's hope my lp stays long and a bfp finishes it off instead of af!

I was looking into assisted reproductive technology a few days ago. Dh was flabbergasted with the cost of it all. But said he'd do anything to have another baby.

Yas I think I ovulated either yesterday or last night or quite possibly today. I'm leaning towards last night as I had ovulation pains. So I'll say 1dpo.

    Hello everybody

I haven't been in for ages. I'm sorry, but I just can't bear to see everyone around me fall pg, including on here! I think it makes it worse when you see all the girls come and go in this thread. Not to say I am not happy for all the girls that graduate from here, it just reminds me I'm still here. I have been really down about it all, I haven't even booked in to see my FS because I am trying natural therapies. I have a number for a really good lady, so far 3 people I know have used her and are pregnant. I figure it's worth a shot. If clomid can make me ovulate and DH sperms are fine, then why hasn't it worked? Anyway, I still pop in and see what your all up to. Maybe if it doesn't work I'll end up back here again! Thank you all for the support, it has meant a lot over the months.
Take care everyone, and good luck girls.

    Hi Tasha,
I understand where you are coming from, I have just started my first round of clomid and ppl all around me are pregnant, my SIL is due and even their dog had pups! I am in the same situation, nothing wrong with me or DH but for some reason it just won't happen! I am only new to the thread and the whole forum situation, so if you want to talk I am happy to listen
Take Care and best of luck to you, and all the ladies TTC out there

    Hi Girls,

Its day 7 of my cycle and I take my last clomid pill today. I was really emotional yesterday for no reason , was just on the verge of crying over nothing and was thinking - why am I feeling like this? and it was "oh yeah - clomid hormones!"
Anyways, apart from the hormones making me emotional and headachy haven't had any other side effects this time. last time I had hot flushes.

Lysndan - gluck with the TWW! I can remember the desperate feelings I had for a baby before we had the miscarriage and our DD. I would have dont just about anything to have a baby. You have been through so much, I really hope it is a BFP this cycle for you!

Mrs A - Welcome, I hope clomid does the trick for you! I don't know whats more frustrating - knowing what the problem is for not falling pregnant or not having any reason??!

Mum2onesweetbun - I am pretty sure I have heard of people taking both metformin and clomid together - maybe talk to your doc or post the question on BB!

Tasha - Im so sorry you are still in here, it is very hard to watch people leave threads when you have been in it for some time.

DD - how are you going? Did you end up taking pessaries??

    Good Morning Ladies,
Today is the 4th day of clomid only one more to go.... the problem is I think that I am having an allergic reaction. Saturday night (day 2 ) my arms became so itchy to the point where they bled from scratching to much, I didn't think anything of it until last night it started again, this time all over my legs, tummy and arms, back its crazy! Then I looked up allergic reastions and this was one of them! I put on cream from mozzie bites as I thought that might help with the itchiness, and it did. This morning the swelling had gone down. Now I am at work and it is starting again, and now on my face!
Have any of you had this sort of reaction?
    Thanks so much!!

    Hi erybery,
Thanks I have actually left a message for FS so hopefully he will call me back soon. I look like I have hives but I don't think it is.
I thought I was getting away with the small mood swing side effects.
    Thank you!!
