    Hi Sadie,
I think it depends, I take took my first cycle of clomid days 5 to 9, today is day 10. My FS wants to do an ultrasound tomorrow morning day 11 to see if I have or am ovualting. Hope this helps. I was also told to buy a kit from the chemist called Maybe Baby you can get it from any chemist is is abut $65 if you get it from Chemist warehouse and it tells you when you are ovulating. Apparently it works I am yet to buy one.
    Best of luck to you

    Hi girls,

I'm sneaking in to join in the next few weeks, in the mean time I just want to get a feel for what I can expect.

    A bit about me......

July last year we stopped being careful, not that it made a difference because I hadn't had a period in over a year.

I came off my ads and saw my gyno in sept, scan showed pco again (had surgery in 06). He put me on metformin and after 3 months feeling sick I still didn't get af. He decided to do a lap so I waited 3 months for that where he also did drilling. That was in feb. And now my cycles are around 35 to 40 days (too long if you ask me)

A month ago I was in pain and found a 4cm cyst on one ovary and a 2cm one on the other. Had a follow up on tuesday and the big one is gone (suggesting that my CL are growing out of control) but the other one hasnt changed..... No bigger, no smaller and full of blood.

This time they also said my ovaries are polycystic again. Which could be that the surgery was successful in changing my hormone levels but just not enough to induce ovulation.

Off to a fs on Monday, My gp thinks I'll go on clomid with an injection of ????? As well (sorry can't remember the name).

So thats me..... Frustrated because I've been able to actually ttc for a whole single cycle in 11 months.

Also my new gp discovered I haven't had pox, so I've had to have the vax. For adults it's a minimum of 10 weeks before ttc again because it's 2 injections over 6 weeks. But my gp recommends waiting 3 months after the final injection. Shattered!!!!! I won't be waiting the 3 months after, sounds bad I know but I have done my research and there aren't any reported birth defects even when it has been given to an unknownly pregnant person...... Odds are I won't fall pg in that 3 month window anyway!

Looking forward to getting to know your stories

    Hi Ladies,

LynsDan wishing you luck and hope it sticks!!

Thanks erybery I did the injection when I woke up this morning. I dont have any CM as yet so I am hoping to get in the next few days, apparently it takes 36-48 hours to work. I am just about to go the pharmacy and buy a maybe baby O kit so I can test in the morning so DH might get lucky again tomorrow morning.

Sticky vibes to you all xx

Mrs A, when I used Ovidrel, my FS said to BD for the next four days straight to catch the egg.

Hope that helps! Best of luck with it
