Razzberry - YAH for shorter cycles! My fingers are crossed for you!

Hi Buff1...lovely to "meet" you too. Your post about the cape made me LOL! I also think you need a sound track playing while you wear that cape...maybe a bit of "dah da da dahhhh"! Good luck with this cycle..may it be the one for you

Hi Girls, I'm feeling a little bit anxious/upset at the moment. I did post something seperatly about it. Has anyone had a laprascopy whilst on Clomid just to check for any blockages etc? Has your Dr suggested you have one?

Hi Peachey - sorry you're feeling anxious. Did your doc give you some more background on the procedure?

I had a lap, hysteroscopy, tubes flushed and d&c this month before starting Clomid. I'd be happy to answer any questions you may have. It's not the most fun I've ever had, but it's not as scary as it seems. Apparently we're more fertile for a few months after these procedures, so there's an upside!

Having it done while on Clomid shouldn't be an issue, especially if it's planned for the first part of your cycle. Doc may want to do it as you said, to check for blockages so they know those super-charged eggs are getting through.

Please sing out if you want more info on my experience....

Hi Ladies hope everyone is doing well.

Peachey, I have had 5 laps, and a hystro done in the past, i wasn't on clomid then but I have also had the "flush out" of tubes three times twice with dye and once with saline and d&c's so please let me know if you have any questions. Like Buffy Said not the best fun in the world but if you can get the flushing done when you get the lap done it will be heaps easier as I got 2 of mine done whilst just sitting there so take the opportuninty to get it under whilst you are "sleeping". Good Luck!

AFM- well went back to the FS on Tuesday 1 follie there, had a trigger injection, and today is day 14 should be o'ing but who knows. Having a BT next Tuesday so fingers crossed. So not sure what the plan is for next month. But feeling awful today, went to a funeral..... and someone there who hadn't seen me for a very very long time, says "oh you married? got kids yet or you just not going to bother with them"!! HELLO! Who says that! That upset me so much and DH wasn't there as he is sick and couldnt attend. I understand people asking about when are you going to have kids but I don't get the or "arent you bothering"??? Sorry about the rant! Just make me so angry.

Hope everyone else is going well

Peachy, have replied in your other thread and completely agree with MrsA. Trust your instincts - hope you get some answers soon.

MrsA, do you get any other signs that might point to O? The waiting sucks, doesn't it? Best of luck for your BT next week. Don't even think about next month yet, just focus on where you're at now. My philosophy is one day at a time. So sorry about the funeral, they're always horrible. Some people have no boundaries/sense of privacy. Since when is it ok to ask someone about family planning??? Most of my older relatives are like that.

Evening to the other ladies how are you travelling?

AFM: had another BT at CD 14, estrogen and LH on the way down and progesterone on the way up, so I definitely ovulated. Actually, I'm pretty sure I felt it at 2:40 this morning when I woke up with the worst stabbing pain I've ever had. Thank you Clomid. Still feel really bloated and tender. Did anyone else experience this? The TWW begins, again. I'm not having CD 21 BT - just wait and see.

Kinda relieved we can have a little rest from all the BD

    Hi Buffy1,

I know tell me about it, the last time I saw this person was 20 years ago! People just think they have the right to do what they like.
Well I have had stabbing pains in my right side and haven't felt great today, according to the maybe baby o saliva kit I am o'ing but apparently clomid can throw you out. BUT my DH is sick so there has been bo BD'ing lately so unless he gets better by tomorrow I think we will miss the boat this month.....

Good news about you BT, and good luck with you TWW hope in 14 days we get some sticky news from you xx

Take care off to bed ladies have a good night

MrsA, how you doing? Are you getting a BT tomorrow? Just wanted to wish you luck for the results.

Everyone else going ok? Peachey, did you decide to see someone else about lap etc?

AFM: 4DPO but no news here. Except my moods are crazy, have been alternating between cranky and really down/sad. Very unlike me, even with PMS. Is it a Clomid side effect, even a couple of weeks after it has left my system?

    Sneaking in ...

Buffy... It may be a side effect of the clomid still. I was only experiencing side effects whilst on the pills... I hope that it's not PMS for you instead I hope it's those pg hormones ramping up... Hoping that you get your bfp. Xx

Hi to everyone else. Hope you all get your bfps very soon x

    Hi Ladies,

Well what a day ive had... Buffy1 thank you I did have my BT today, but what a nightmare, couldn't find the right clinic then when to 3 different ones because they all had a long wait.. then forgot my medicare card at home! But finally got it done. I have also been feeling really down and angry I didn't even think about it being more clomid effects but who knows it could be fingers crossed it is! I have been so angry lately and sad all I want to do is cry. I am cd 19 today so techincally 5 days or so passed ov but who knows, only the BT will tell me.

    How is everyone else going??
    Take ladies xx

Hiya Peachey, I also read your other thread and totally agree seek another opoion doesn't make much sense to do all this if ov'ing or lack of isn't the problem.

MrsA, what a day is right! Grrrrrrrrrr, you must have been so frustrated. Glad you were able to get it done though. When do you get the results? Keep us posted. And I know exactly how you feel - did a bit of research last night (thank you, Dr Google) and what we are feeling is definitely due to the Clomid. Oh yeah, and the stress of constant blood tests and monitoring! I hope it eases a bit for you soon - if not, we can rant and rave to each other sounds like we are at the same point in our cycles too.

LysnDan, thanks very much for your advice. Yes, fingers crossed!

How are the other ladies doing?

AFM: nothing to report; the snap-monster continues to wreck havoc though. Poor DH.

    Hi Buffy,
Oh good at least I know I am going mad! well... maybe.. lol but thats ok, yep it does sound like we are at the same time. Apparently I can call on Thursday to get the results but don't like my chances of them being ready. You are right though if I have to remember one more blood test or appointment I'll go mad, and it makes it worst that my SIL is due to give birth at the end of month and I think its really playing on my mind. So we will be doing pg testing at the same time, I hope you get a BFP! and a BFP for the rest of you ladies At least I haven't cried today thats something I guess!! and to top it all off I have my 7 year old step daughter down this week for school holidays and cheeky doesn't being to explain it... bring on the weekend!
    Take care ladies

    Hi Ladies,

I have only just joined this thread, but I am now leaving it – I got my long awaited BFP (I am s*#t scared though)!

If someone had told me only 5 weeks ago that anything was possible and to think positively I would have throttled them, but I actually believe it now....... so I just wanted to wish you all the best and may you get those BFP you all deserve! May this long journey end for you soon, followed by a happy and health pregnancy!

    Good Luck.

    xoxo

DDB- I had alot of annovulatory cycles after my miscarriages which is why i used clomid. I took mine in the mornings days 2-6....i didn't have any side effects apart from major mood swings lol. Alot of girls take them at night, it's really personal preference. I fell on my 3rd cycle There is hope.
Wishing you all the best on your TTC journey xxxxxxx

Hi girls cycle day 17 for me and I think I may have layed an egg last night! lol - had terrible pain on one side so heres hoping! The symptoms I have had this month are sleeplessness and extreme bloating!

Rosey - Congratulations!!! such great news!

Daydream believer - Welcome, I hope clomid does the trick for you!

Mrs A - Hoping this is your month!

    Buffy1 - I hear ya on the snap-monster!

Peachey - I have had 2 laparoscopys but it was before I was on clomid. The doc found and removed endometriosis. Try not to be too scared about it. It wasn't too painful and is fairly quick surgery. I was back at work in 4 days.

Yas and Lysndan - thanks for dropping in!!
