LTTTC Two Week Wait #1

Quick question girls, in all the madness of yesteday I crawled into bed once we get finally got home. I woke up at 3.15am and realised that I have not taken my prog pess so burst into tears and quickly inserted one. I am praying that the 2 littlies inside are still there. I took my first pessary yesterday morning. It was a day 2 transfer, and I just hope that because it was a stim cycle my body is already producing progesterene??? I took another one around 10.00am this morning and will take another one tonight to bring myself back into line 1 x 2 a day.

Thoughts anyone??? Have a ruined my cycle ????????

Saffy - glad the pregnyl seems out...bugger re: the HPT running out!! Thursday's your BT right?? Less than a week - it doesn't sound like much but it's just 4 more sleeps. :crossfingers::goodluck:

Rhi - any news?? That's weird re: bbies. The progesterone gets mine like rocks, but not sore at all. Could it be a good sign that your body is reacting differently this time?? :crossfingers:

Vic - what is it with rookies doing horrible transfers. My heart goes out to you, you're already in enough physical and emotional pain without that happening. FX it's the last of the negative experiences for you for a long time (and by the sounds of things, you have such a good mind set, i loved you "build it and they will come" quote!):heartbeat:

AFM - poas again this morning, 2nd line now more visible and arrived much quicker. Totally stoked :leap: and already risking a jinx by telling my 3 closest girlfriends via photo text of the poas lol.

Wanting the same for each of you so desperately, bring on the next 4 sleeps and beyond!!!

Vic I forgot my progesterone pessaries for a whole night (I'm on 2 at night at bedtime). FS said not to worry, and just to make sure I did them as normal that night ( I called him the morning after the night I forgot). I wouldn't worry too much, main thing is you remembered:)

Kimbe - awesome news!!! Hopefully you will be joining a Belly Buddies group in no time! You may even be in the same one as Janie and I which would be awesome:)

Saffy - is it sad I have your BT in my diary? I have all my fingers and toes crossed for you.

Rhi - even though it's early days I have a good feeling for you

Vic - I don't know the answer to your question, but just carry on as per normal. I didn't go to bed until about 1am this morning (had a party), so prog. cream went in alot later than normal for me.

Vic - did you speak with someone about the crinone thing?? Hoping it has evened itself out ok. It sounds like what you did was ok. I know it was a 2dt and mine was a 5dt but i know i wasn't (nor were any of the ladies who had EPU the same day), to begin crinone until day 2 anyway - we all had a really good talk whilst we waited in the waiting room about so many things lol.

Hi ladies- sorry this is a bit of a me post but AF arrived in full force so no BFP for me. Feeling very down about it all this at the moment so I going to have a break for 1 cycle and see how I feel after that. I think I need some time away for all the baby talk too.

Nothing whatsoever happening here and I can't even get my progrestrone levels tested to see I ov because I have run out of referral slips so hopefully they come in the mail. In the meantime I am just plodding along.

Vic- I have forgotton crinone before, don't worry, it will be fine. I do it twice a day so sometimes I put it in and have to get straight up for work so I'm sure most of it falls out.

Get the feeling AF is trying to rear her ugly head, slight brown stained crinone left overs, and lots of cramping all night last night.....won't be long til I know. Hope I can do a stim again staright away if I get bfn.

Saffy I so know what you mean about night shift and no sleep, DH works night shift and he is like a zombie most of the time unless he is on holidays, he hasn't even hit bed ATM and is snoozing for an hr on couch. I hope the cramps are not from AF cross fingers.

After having a big break from TTC and BB I'm back and just had my first cycle since comming back off the pill.

Currently 2 days past O so still a while to go! Looking forward to catching up with you all again

Mrs Mac - so so sorry. I hope the cycle break helps you to work out what you need to do for you. This whole journey can be just so trying, I don't know about you but I find that it really makes me question myself down to the very core of my being, in a way i'm sure those who've never experienced it have ever had to.

Saffy - night shift argh!!!! Bring on Thursday then hey! How are you feeling?? Any symptoms, changes etc. What's you're feel about this cycle or are you not a believer in that sixth sense stuff?

Kerbear, Vic, Rhi and anyone else i've missed (sorry!!)...how's it going thus far??

AFM - to answer your Q Saffy, i thought my scheduled POAS for FC was today, but read the paperwork about what to do last night and realised I had got the dates muddled. It's not until Thurs, then followed by second test Sat. No BT at my FC. Am now feeling a little concerned that my early POAS results were preemptive, despite thinking i tested out the trigger. Also I had severe cramping yesterday...had to unzip my jeans driving home to try to ease the pain. DH has continued to be gr8 and is keen to do another poas tomorrow to relieve my stress, but we don't have any and i'm being a stinge not wanting to spend unnecessarily on any more. Thursday is totally past our Af due dates hey. I'm sure mine is technically due today. I don't know. Other than that, have been driving myself nuts by looking up nursery furniture online. It's doing my head in. Bring on Thursday!!!

Well I am enjoying some symptoms this morning :) some imagined perhaps lol! Weirdest taste in my mouth and some decent creamy cm. Bb's have got nothing happening... So quietly enjoying some positive thoughts!

Joeve - glad I'm not the only one who thinks some of my symptoms during the tww are imagined!

Just popping in to join you TWW-ers! I had a lovely blasty transferred yesterday and did my first Clexane jab last night. I'm not sure if anyone else in here is on Clexane but if so I'm wondering if anyone has found the needle to be quite blunt?! I am not squeamish at all about needles and have never had an issue injecting during my stims but I had to have three goes and then really jam it in! I now have three nasty red blotches on my tummy. I'm hoping that it was just that one but I guess I'll find out tonight.

Kerbear- how are you going so far, Honey? It's nice to have someone at the same stage of this wretched process!

To everyone else, I hope you're all hanging in there and hope to see an abundance of BFPs really soon!

Meg, I take Clexane (when I am actually in a 2WW!!! And not just stalking!)

That needle is a biatch!! It can hurt too :(

I find it the worst of all the IVF needles.

Saffy takes it too.

hi meg- yeah my needle today took three jab to get in!! Most of the time its ok though. I try to inject it swiftly and strongly if that makes sense, I find the slower you do it the more likely you are to not get it in properly and it hurts more. I bawled my eyes out the first time I did it cos it hurt so much, but I'm fine w it now, heres more tips:
- Ice the area first for a minute, it goes numb and you can't feel the needle go in, just the sting of the fluid
-I find closer to the middle of my abdo, ie under my bellybutton, hurts and bruises less than outer areas
-some areas will bruise heaps and some won't so don't panic
-the big bruises can hurt for days so tight pants /jeans won't work

Sounds like fun hey?? What dose are you on, I am on a large dose- 80mg- so if you are on lower it won't be as bad as mine.

AFM - I have a cold coming on. I cant remember the last one I had. Sore throat, snotty nose, sneezy. Sore (.)(.), and so tired. Its the first time I have had possible symptoms. Not sure if its just all the hormones. Probably is. Its too soon for anything I guess. 4 days post transfer 2 x day 2 embies.

Vic sounds promising!!!

I am off on holidays for 2 1/2 weeks, so I may not be able to check in on how everyone is doing. I just wanted to wish you all the best of luck. I am sure I will see lots of BFPs when I return.

Hi girls,

Just dropping to say I am definitely BFP!!!!!!! Did my FC HPT this morning (1 day early) and it's far less sensitive than the Early Detect I used over the weekend. I got the BFP within 1 minute. So so excited - technically I don't confirm with FC until Saturday (after another HPT but don't care as they only rely on the 2 HPT and then a 7 week ultrasound now, not BT anymore (amazing I know!). So given this mornings strong result 100% definite BFP. Want to shout it too the world, but DH has made me promise i'll hold out till Saturday. lol. What a party pooper lol.

Thanks for everything, bring on a run of BFP for us all...will be stalking, beginning tomorrow ;)
