Hey, sorry guys, just thought of a question I was meaning to ask you.
I've just been changed to progesterone pessaries (aren't they gross!) and I have noticed, that even though I am lying down for about an hour after putting them in (my dose is 2 at a time), they still leak (a lot) when I get up. Is this normal? I have to go to the bathroom straight away when I stand up and then... I don't know, it's just kind of, everywhere... Please tell me this is normal and I'm getting the right dose now!
Thanks!

Hi MiniMe
This is my first time with the pessaries too and yeah, they are a bit leaky. I take mine when I go to bed so it's not too bad -do you have to take morning ones as well? - They are a lot less messy than the crinone though
Loops - sorry to hear about your test - Like mum2be said, hopefully less stress will help next time
Trueblue - all is crossed!
Lairdoz - Hope you weren't too uncomfortable, and even more I hope it sticks!
AFM - still no symptoms. I'd like to think the spotting was implantation, but I think it was just a rough transfer. You're right lairdoz -it is a 5 day blastie so I guess 9 days is time.
Has anyone here had a +ve with no symptoms?

Hey ladies,
trueblue ~ I'm so waiting to hear good news today!! :crossfingers:
Kass ~ I was wondering the same thing. I had a pg last round (although lost after a few weeks) and the only thing I felt in the TWW was a pain in the middle of the night one night that lasted about 10 minutes. But no other symptoms. In any event, stay positive  !!
Minime ~ I have to use 2 per day (1 am and 1 pm). I don't get any leaking during the night, however in the morning when I go to the loo there is a little left. When I put the am one in, I also use a panty liner as some does slowly leak out during the day (and that's only with 1 put in). If your putting 2 in, I would imagine more would come out... but not sure - try not to worry about it though!! Now we are BT buddies!!
Terry ~ welcome back! Hope all goes well for you!! Let me know when your BT is so I can put it on the list.
Lairdoz ~ hope your feeling better soon! Hopefully it is one of the stories you will tell at the 21st birthday party!!
Airline ~ Hope all is going well for you!!
AFM ~ just cruising! going through positive spells and then negative spells!! More positive ones though! No change to symptoms - bbs (or more the right one!) are a little tender (but that may be because I keep feeling them to see if they are sore yet :hide: !!) Otherwise I feel fine! Just marking time till Tuesday morning!! DH and I will do a HPT that morning, so we can find out before the BT (we always do things together and finding out whether we are pregnant shouldn't be any different!).
BT List:
trueblue ~ 10 June 2010
Kass ~ 11 June 2010
Minime ~ 15 June 2010
Mum2be ~ 15 June 2010
Ahurani ~ ???
Airline ~ 18 June 2010 (HPT on 16th or 17th!!)
Lairdoz ~ 21 June 2010
Terry ~ ???

thanks everyone so much for all your support but i will be leaving you all now until next tww as I started bleeding today at about lunch time so I didn't need to wait for the results called the nurse and she's been chasing the results all day so when she calls in the morning with the results then she'll be able to discuss the game plan for the next round which is pretty much straight away i think
Am shattered and have had a few good cry's.. I hope to not have to see any of you back in the ttc threads goodluck girls and thank you all so much again
-
Im out too, Im spotting :(
trueblue:
-
sending hugs to all that need them today xx
-
Trueblue and Ahurani, I'm sorry girls X Huggs X
Don't loose sight of your dream, I know it's a tough long road, but we are all here to help you travel it X
-
Trueblue and Ahurani....girls I am soooo sorry. You must be feeling that heavy weight in your chest when your pain and disappointment is just so heavy and tangible. I'm thinking about you both and sending a cyberhug.
mumtobe - DH and I are the same. we also like to do stuff together (well you would with your best friend wouldn't you!) so we'll do an HPT too .... just can't decide which day yet.
Kass - I had a +ve and no real symptoms prior to BT or HPT...no sore boobs, nausea, spotting, pains downbelow nothing. I did get constant nausea virtually from when we got result though, but sadly there was no heartbeat at scan.
minime - I'm thinking it's the volume you're having to put in. I'm putting one in morning and night and don't notice too much leakage. I wear a panty liner and that solves any issues. TMI maybe, but I assume you're pushing them relatively far ... (whispered - I go forefinger deep)
AFM - well I have had the usual +ve -ve rollercoaster...the stress kicked in a bit the last couple of days, short tempered with DH. Socialised and played cards with friends last night which was good fun and took my mind off it. Also went to Eumundi markets during the day which was great as usual. Had acupuncture today which is awesome, fell asleep twice on the table, and back to work tomorrow. That's a week down.... one to go.
Sticky dust to everyone, and fingers crossed x

Just a quick one -
Managed to score an ear infection now, certainly keeping my mind of this 2WW!!
Trueblue and Ahurani,
I am so sorry it doesn't appear that this month is your month. I feel for you and hope you are OK
Kass - my one and only BFP, I had to be called into have the BT two days after I was initially due to go in, I was so used to having failures and had no symptoms whatsoever. The hard part of this process is you will find lots of BFP's with lots of cramping and some bleeding, then many more BFP's with no symptoms whatsoever. I am thinking of you and your BT tomorrow - hoping you are the start of our BFP's :)
Thinking of all you lovely ladies and hope to see BFP's in here soon
-
Trueblue and Ahurani - I'm so sorry for your bad results. Good luck with the next steps in your conception journeys. True, from your symptoms I could have sworn it was your turn... hopefully next time.
Mum-2-Be - Yay, BT buddies!! Yeah, I have to put 2 in the morning and 2 at night. I try to get up an hour early in the morning and then go back to bed for an hour and its not too bad, but I wear a full pad all day. Hope you are enjoying your cruising, try to keep the -ve's to a minimum!
Kass - My nurse said that I wasn't supposed to have any symptoms until at least after the BT. So it could be a good sign!
Airline - lol! I think I am putting them in far enough, but I think I prefer the applicator that comes with crinone, at least I know its getting up there! Hope you don't get too stressed!! It sounds like you have had a calming couple of days.
AFM - Lying down now, trying not to leak. No symptoms... While I was watching my soccer team play today (U13s), I thought I had started bleeding and had a freak out, but it turned out to be nothing. At least stressing out about the crappy referee kept my mind off things for awhile.
Hope you all have a good night!!!
-
Trueblue and Ahurani - I'm terribly sorry that it didn't work this cycle. Really hope it works for you both soon. As Murraycod said, its not an easy journey, but hopefully we can help each other through it --> :grouphug:
Airline ~ It has been years since I have been to the Eumundi markets!! Probably the last time I went (2 1/2 years ago) I bought our wedding album there - it is a beautiful solid wood album! And your right ~ DH should be our best friend and therefore the one we want to share everything with! I think that's why some relationships thrive and others falter ... Are you in Brissie or the Sunshine Coast?
Minime ~ hope the TWW is treating you well (except for the leakage)!! Only a long weekend is in the way of finding out our future!! Do you have anything planned?
Kass ~ 11 June 2010
Minime ~ 15 June 2010
Mum2be ~ 15 June 2010
Airline ~ 18 June 2010 (HPT on 16th or 17th!!)
Lairdoz ~ 21 June 2010
Terry ~ ???

Morning ladies did a massive post then lost it
Anyway I'll do a few personals again
True so sorry that this was not your month. Glad to hear that you are dealing with it its important to have a good cry before you can move on. Hopefully the next attempt will be the one for you
Kass fingers crossed you get a BFP today and start the ball rolling
Lairdoz looks like you and I are in this together for the next two weeks. Hope your holding up ok
Minime hope you have managed to calm yourself down. Its not enough that we have to deal with trying to have a baby but we also get thrown curve balls along the way
AFM my Bt is scheduled for 22 June have been having a few headaches think its the side effects of the estrogen and progestrone combination other than that am travelling ok. Its always easier for me the first week as all I can do is pray that the little embie is still dividing inside me its the second week that I start to feel the strain
-
I may be back in here in a few weeks time the nurse called and was definately a bfn :( but looks like we'll be booked in for a july insemination so we might be going straight onto injections and nasal spray she's calling back later with dates and stuff hopefully this time no cysts..
Thanks again girls and goodluck everyone else hope at leats one of you if not all get a bfp
-
:bfn:
disappointed, but not surprised.
-
kass oh massive big cyber hug. I am so sorry about your result. I hope you get some decent sleep tonight, so sorry x
-
Kass - Just wanted to say sorry to hear your news - hope you are OK.
Hope you lovely ladies have a fabulous long weekend and that it goes quickly.
xxx

Trueblue, Kass, Ahurani - so sorry that you missed out this month. :comfort:
MiniMe - had a giggle when I heard you talking about leakage. OMG I hated the prog pessaries, I'd do the morning one at about 4:30am and not get out of bed for 2hrs after that to try to give it the best chance of staying up there! I also found that depending on what I was sitting on (my suede couch for example), even though wearing undies and pants/shorts/skirt I would leave an oily residue behind (gross! so sorry if TMI). I guess panty liners would be the only way to combat the leakage. Good luck!!
Good luck to all you strong ladies with your upcoming BTs, we need more of you in the Preg after LTTTC forum. :crossfingers:
Chrissy xx

Thanks for all of your support, I'm ok, just feeling a bit flat. All going well I'll be back here in a few weeks - eventually it has to work! :wall:
:crossfingers: the bad luck is over and some positives start coming through!
