LTTTC Two Week Wait 2012 #3

Hi lyra! Yay :) so glad someone's in here with me! And S4K hurry up and join us already ;)

Lyra - a week down eh? Well done chic, not too much longer! And my partner thinks I'm crazy but I'm right there with you!! I do the whole 'buy one item' thing too....it's kind of a tradition (well since my last daughter anyway) that I buy a pair of baby nikes...so I did the same :) I think it's nice...as you say either a lovely first gift or something to treasure either way :) have you been feeling any side effects or anything?

I have been feeling crampy and quite tight across my lower belly...a little un nerving as I don't know if it's a good thing or bad thing!! But early days so just trying to get on with it!

S4K - 2 embryos! That's very exciting :) looking forward to you joining us!

Just transferring over from the LTTTC thread. I had a FET cycle with a 5 day embryo from the same cycle as my DS3 inserted today. Feeling quite tender and crampy tonight but hopeful we have a new 'emby' climbing on board. Praying for a gift from god as 2012 has been a tough year to date and the whole family needs to have something to look forward to while my dad is fighting terminal cancer.

Ok I think I must be in tww although no idea when or if I ov but am cd 21 of a natural cycle. Have not a hope of being one of those surprise natural preg girl but hanging in here so that the wait for my next stim cycle rolls on faster!

AFM- 8dpo, starting to get a bit twitchy. Was going to let myself test on Sunday just to see... No implant bleeding yet though and I got a very clear one with my DS.

Thought I should stick my head in to say hi.

I am 2dp3dt of two embies. One was a morula, the other was compacting. My FS was pretty happy. It is a FET cycle.

I am trying to keep low key as it is my seventh IVF transfer (embies 10 and 11). I have almost zero confidence of it working :( Anyhoo... I am progesterone pessaries and clexane. No symptoms at all....

Good luck N2L! It was lucky #7 for me. Will cross everything I have and send every prayer it is for you x

Just sticking my head back in, not feeling as tender today but having some very light spotting dont know if its too early for implantation bleeding. Im on all kinds of drugs, 3 pessaries a day, 6 progynova tablets, steroids twice daily, asprin....honestly tip me upside down and I rattle!

Hoping we get some suprise BFP's in here!!

Hi girls I'm joining u in here for the torturous 2ww had 2 embies transferred today after having such a great start they slowed down a bit so I'm hoping they are happier back where they belong this is round no 10 so praying and trying to be positive finding it difficult! Had a very emotional couple of days and taken it out on dh he has copped it big time poor buggar!
Anyway Day 1 and here's to the next 2ww going fast and going to try to just get on with things blah blah we all know that's impossible, he he.

N2l sounds like u had some great embies let's hope the little Buggars stick this time u deserve it! It has to be your turn! X

i feel good thanks lyra :-).... id rather 2 babies than no baby at all so willing to take that chance :-)!.... just hope i get a baby at this stage lol but i dont "feel" like theres going to be 2 .... would fall over if that actually happend haha xoxo Best of luck for this cycle and to all you lovely ladies who deserve a BFP for sure!!

Well the crazy 9dpo knicker stalking for implantation bleed has well and truly begun. I've had a few cramps (or wind lol) and so am literally going to the loo every 5 minutes to inspect the toilet paper. I wish I could just RELAX!! Isn't that what all those unhelpful people say will get you pregnant:rolleyes:

Can someone explain what the 5dp3dt (or whatever the numbers may be) means? I'm such a rookie when it comes too all the abbreviations and stuff!

Well I'm 4 days into the 2ww and still not feeling anything. I know it's early days but have kinda prepared myself for the 'this cycle hasn't worked' call. But keeping busy and hopefully will be all good!

I have had mild cramping since last night. I would love to think it's implantation but i am guessing it's the progesterone pessaries. I can live in hope though :lol:

Ok I have cried 3 times in 24 hours. Totally thinking it is just that I am over myself and this ttc rubbish.... I am still freaking about starting another stim in a week :(

N2L- mmm interesting. I SOOO hope it's implantation. I don't get any cramps with progesterone I don;t think. Just crazy tired.

Joeve- ahh hugs hun. Sorry to hear you're feeling weepy and freaking out. It's a scary thing starting another cycle- you have to get ready for the emotional roller coaster , so be kind to yourself. If it makes you feel any better... I too am freaking out, but in a different way. I have POAS 4 times in the last 24 hours... and yes it's still the same result, no matter how often I go back to look at it. Am going to bed early, just so I can wake up sooner and POAS again.... cos it might be different, you know???!!! Shoot me now.

Nope, still BFN, no matter how hard I squint and tilt it sideways in the sunlight... Have now run out so will need to buy some more and am going to try and only do 1 per day. Roll on thursday to put me out of my misery.

OMG OMG OMG.... trying not to get excited but I've just had some bright red streaks in my CM. The only time i've ever had spotting was IB with my DS. I'm day 11, what do you think?? Could it be??

No idea blood for me has always been not great!!

Hello my TWW friends

ARGH I had forgotten how hard this part was :( last time i had DS i worked in U/S so i could see things happening but im a teacher now so no looking in my tummy.

Please dont lose hope N2L it is still to early to get a BFP it takes 4-5 days after implantation for hCG levels to raise (i used to work at the IVF clinic). I have definately had cramping and light spotting over the weekend but better today im 4dp5dt...Im going to hold of POAS until thursday now (got BFN today which isnt suprising!!) and praying to see something by Saturday as I'm taking my mum and dad to see Mary Poppins and its my dads final round of chemo after 3 months of treatment and i want to give them something to look forward to.

My blood test is 06.06.12 hoping it's kind to me and lots of us in here that are going a little POAS crazy!!
By the way anyone else doing 3 pessaries a day?...how do you find time to lay down for 30 minutes after insertion? For now im doing one after work about now 6pm, then another before bed at 11pm and I wake up at 4am to do another before school. Any feedback gratefully received.

Thanks Bee. I just figured I am 8dpo today and the test I used is sensitive to 10iui (which is better than FRERs). I have heard of lots of women getting a BFP at this point... I just knew I shouldn't have got my hopes up :( I am blaming those bloody cramps....

I really hope you other girls have better luck :)

Re the pessaries, I am only doing one. I do it at night in bed.

I have read of others doing it early in the morning (half hour before they get up), when they get home from work, then in bed just before sleep. Hope this helps!

N2L too early for you yet, come one super embies stick dammmmm it!

Oh wow my clinic didn't mention anything about laying down or anything afterwards? I had to have a blood test at 2dp5dt to ensure my levels were high enough to support a pregnancy and it was ok - but I am doing crinone so maybe they're all different.

How many days past transfer is it safe to get an accurate home test reading?

Susan, I was told to lie down after crinone too. It's just to ensure it has enough time to dissolve/absorb without running out.

Re hpts - it depends on the sensitivity. I reckon for the sensitive ones 8days past ovulation (so 5dp3dt or 3dp5dt) is pretty accurate.

Hi Bee, I found the pessaries so gross and inconvenient last time I am using them rectally this time- clinic told me it was ok. You don't have to worry about lying down and much less messy. Hardly noticing them.
