Just sneaking in to say congrats to all the ladies with bfp's. I am always in here seeing how everyone is going and get so excited when I see the successes, gives me hope for when I come back and try again in a few months :-)
I hope everyone else still in the wait gets some great news at the end.
Looking like its a bfn for me:( red smear appearing when wiping... Sorry if tmi! Will have to see if she comes full force tomorrow or not. If so its back to a full stim again.

So sorry for BFN's Mrs P and Planetsasha.
I also thought I was out this month and was just waiting for AF but this morning cd30 I was feeling squeemish and thought I would go to the chemist downstairs and get a test. I actually bought a 3 pack so I could have some for next month, I wasn't very hopeful after a BFN on cd28. But there it was... 2 lines!! How could I be neg cd28 and now BFP?? Of course now I am worried about my levels. I have just been to have bloods taken so I guess we will see... so on to phase 2 of worry!

Woo Hoo Tilygirl. It's not uncommon to get a BFN one day and a BFP the next. A line is a line and another cautious congrats.

Yay I can finally join you in here! I think I'm CD 31 today. Had IUI so now just waiting waiting...
Congrats to all those BFP's and boo to the BFN's- life just sucks sometimes doesn't it? Hope you guys are licking your wounds and being wonderful to yourselves and moving on with hope in your hearts.
Tilygirl- hope you get fabulous numbers!
Am going to try and stay sane for the first week at least this time... Am really really positive and hopeful at this stage... we'll have to see how things go.

Tilly girl!!! Congrats hunni such great news. I did the same thing and bought a three pack because I was only testing to prepare dh so I didn't have to tell him the 'bad news' while he was away and two lines showed up. I too have felt 'yuck and had extreme cramping but my levels were good, hoping like mad it is the same for you.
Lyra - well done on making it to the tww. It was a long process for you. Thinking of you and hoping you get your long awaited bfp.

I am completely disheartened I have to say. The sperm sample was only 3 million washed, and I found a site which gave chances according to sperm sample- well it gave me 3% :( Pretty rubbish. So now I just have to wait but feeling pretty negative now. What a rollercoaster. I'm only day 1 dpo and already going insane :o
Anyone got any success stories with low sperm count and iui??? Please??

I found info which said 1 mil was minimum, under 5 was pretty slim chances, and 20-30 million for optimum chances. Having said that... it only needs one!!
Hey LS how are you feeling today? I haven't had any sign of the dreaded af yet, but I don't want to get my hopes up either! Other than more than normal toilet stops & an occasional pinching feeling I haven't really had any symptoms either! Oh well 2 days to go until I find out;)

Sunbeam- thank you so much for the hope you have given me with Marushke too. Actually I went back to look at the site I found those stats on and I think they may not be referring to washed sperm, but a general pre iui sperm analysis. It's not that clear. I found some journal papers which do talk about a lower chance below 5-10 million washed sperm, but others that say other factors (such as age) are more important. Anyway, I may have jumped the gun in my negativity... so thank you for your words of encouragement!! Her's hoping that special little swimmer makes it.

Well as of today I'm officially in the two week wait.
I had a fresh embryo transferred today. Thought I would be heaps more excited, but feeling a little flat at the moment. I think all the build up has just exhausted me (not to mention the 600km trip) and missing my daughter at home so badly.
Anyway looking forward to sharing the next 2 weeks with people who understand what I'm going through :)
In saying two weeks, our clinic does 12 day test... And we have so much on in the meantime that I think it will fly. Hoping to give my amazing partner the best 40th present I can!! ;)

AFM- well 1 week down, 1 to go. Feeling ok actually as I'm pretty busy. Trying not to dwell too much, although I did get my baby item yesterday... I know I'm nuts but I allow myself one purchase every cycle, something nice. That way, every cycle that fails I still get something nice out of it and it helps me believe that it will happen. Otherwise, my friends will get some very cute baby gifts!
