Sorry every body for keeping you in suspense - for some reason I couldn't get on to the site, it kept on timing out!

Well... When I went for the blood test on Friday, they said they'd call between 10 and 12, but it got to about 2pm and I'm sure that the poas must have been a fluke and there was nothing to report...

Then I got a call and they told me I'm 4 weeks pregnant!! I can't believe it it's so surreal at the moment. I know it's really amazing for this to happen on the first go - I've got friends who are on their 7th round, so I'm feeling like I've got beginners luck at the moment!

Thank you to everyone for your good wishes - I hope that there are more BFPs this month. I just hope it sticks!

    Hi Girls,

Redidris, yeepee!!!! Congratulations hun, wishing you a very H&H 8 months or so! Well done hun

JVol, Bridget, lilmisshavachat, kittykat27 and Lou, I have my fingers and toes crossed for your little embies, may they stick like glue and be little fighters!

Lou, I really hope you get one or two (or more!) little ones to freeze. When I had my stim. cycle last year, they have transferred one fresh 5 day blastie, and on the morning of the transfer they didn't think any of the other embies were suitable for freezing. I was so disappointed, but called them a couple of days later and they told me one ended up beeing good enough for freezing. Well, I had the 'one' fighter blastie transferred on 11/7 and I'm now almost 6 weeks pg. So don't give up hope hun, sometimes they just get a little growth spurt!

Lots of to all of you lovely ladies and bring on those BFPs!!!

Yay Redidris.. Congratulations on your BFP that is fantastic news.. Super dooper stoked you you Hun... I really hope it's a sticky one for you...

JVol, Bridget, Kittycat and Loops.. How are you girls travelling.. I hope you are all still sane because i'm not.. Good luck for this TWW..
Loops - I really hope your embies catch up and there are some for the freezer for you..

AFM - I haven't been this obsessed with symptoms since I was a 1-6 month TTCer.. Back when hope was all you needed to suceed (yeah right).. I have been staring at my veins tonight and I don't think I have ever seen them this fat or this blue (Had just gotten out of the shower..Does this change their look?) I don't know what it is but I just feel really good and not just good but happy and contented and we all know how few and far between those feeling can be... I think I have had niggly twinges and a little cramping which I never get with AF so maybe just maybe this might happen.. And so we wait..
Good luck to all of you..

    congrat's redidris!!!
    well done on the BFP!!!!
now come on lilmisshavachat, JVol, Bridget and lou let's join her!!!

afm, i am not POAS this time. i did have a bad experience when i did my IVF as i got a pos reading on POAS. that was because i had an unviable chem pregnancy. the hcg was high enough for a reading but not for the pregnancy to stick. so never again. i will hang out to the real BT.....as hard as that is.
well it's off to work for me today. back to a bit of normality. i don't really stress about signs this early. which is good. but look out for next week. i too check out my veins!!! how funny is that!
    LOL

    Hi Ladies,

Firstly, I'm sorry to hear about the BFN's and wish you all the baby dust for your next attempt

Tauren - that is great news and huge congratulations

Baby2Bee - I think that I am also doing HRT (still trying to figure this all out) as I am taking oestrogen tablets (6 p/day) and prog pessaries (3 p/day) and oestrogen patches (changed every 3 and 1/2 days)... It is great compared to my fresh cycle

MissK - Unfortunately, it is going ridiculously slow so I know how you feel! When are you due for you BT?

I'm due this Wednesday and have gone from freaking out that I was getting period like cramps on day 3 and 4 to now having almost no symptoms at all (only very slight camp feeling)??? I don't feel pregnant in anyway or that my period is coming either.... I'm just trying to remain sane and not get to upset (I have already shed a few tears which is silly as I don't know the outcome yet but just can't help it).

Sorry to those that I haven't mentioned as I am still trying to catch up with all on the thread

Good Luck to all those with BT's coming up this week

    Hi All

Well I have been up since 3 and finally POAS at about 6.20 and it was a BFP - I then did another one and it was also a BFP. I am in shock and am heading for a BT at 7 (I literally cannot wait). I can't stop crying/smiling...I know we have a long way to go and Wednesday will be my lost son's birthday but I feel like the universe is trying to right this wrong.
Will stop babbling will let you all know BT results.
    Much love

    Hi dellydoo,

Congratulations!! How exciting! Well I was wide awake at 4am this morning so I decided to do a POAS as well and I got two lines!! I am not due for my bt until Wednesday though. I was so excited I couldn't go back to bed, so I cleaned the oven, cleaned the bathroom and did three loads of washing!!

Can't wait to see how your blood test goes but it definitely looks like a BFP!! Yay!!

Just on the train so keeping it nice and short!

    Have a great day ladies!!

    Hi Ladies

Just a really quick one as at work with little time or privacy. And a very slow connection! Thank you everyone for all the lovely wishes - so nice of you all.

Taurean, just had to say how happy I am for you - what a fantastic result. I knew your symptoms sounded the same as mine and I'm also encouraged that this is a good thing. Wishing you a really H&H 9 months
As you I am a little nervous about getting overly excited with such a long way to go but very hopeful

Mitf, GL today with BT let us know how you go. I hope you've increased those hormones over the weekend.

Airline, hope your results today are good and strong. So frustrating to have to wait from Saturday till Monday for them but here's hoping they come back great!

Delly, congratulations - I am so happy for you. An excellent result.

Seph, so sorry to hear your news. Your a brave lady and I really hope that your blastie will work next time. Wishing you heaps of luck and try not to crawl too far under that rock we're all here for you

So sorry for the BFNs. I have been so lucky and have no words that can even start to help with what you must be feeling. I can only hope that next time will be your time. Sorry for those I have missed and the mad rush. Boss is practically over the sholder so must dash but lastly:

Collinsgirl, just read your post as mine is failing to load - hope I don't have to retype. I have exact same symptoms - see my question below. Sorry I can't help looking for answers too:

QUESTION: Is it normal to have lots and lots of menstrual like cramping in the first few weeks as I am quite worried it is a bit excessive. I am also very constipated (TMI) which I think is not helping. Not sure what I am allowed take but prunes are not working as I have been eating them for weeks now with almost no relief. Had a very active weekend canoeing, swimming and walking around the sites in Katherine etc.. which would normally help but not much this time. Any help or advice on what's normal would be appreciated. My FS tends to answer a everything with "it's your hormones" so just wondered.

    Thanks,

    Jasmin

Congratulations Delly and Amy Wishing you both a safe and healthy pg ladies! Well done!

Jasminstar, my 27 wk pg girlfiend from work had heavy cramping for 3 weeks after her blastie transfer. Remember your embryo keeps on burrowing deep into the lining for up to a week after it sticks I think, and then the uterus goes through some big changes, expanding etc so hence the cramping. I still have on/off cramping and I'm nearly 9 wks, all very normal. GL sweets and enjoy your holiday! As for how to get rid of the cramping, I'd suggest panadol (I tried not to take anything and just put up with it, but gave in a couple of times!). Not sure if you can use a heat pack...

GL to all the ladies testing soon, this 2WW thread if going off with all these BFP!!!!!!!

    Hi All...

Airline - I am really, really sorry to hear that your levels are still low and are that things turn around for you..

Persephone1 - Again, I am sorry to hear that you AF has arrived and hope that you get your BFP next time

Jacdy - Sorry to about your BFN.... 's for you 2 for your next attempt

Baby2Bee - Good to see that your FS is happy with your numbers... I don't know what they mean and haven't been tested on my cycle?

I hope I haven't missed anyone although I probably have so sorry! I am due to test tomorrow and are a little anxious. Had the worst cramps yesterday and thought things were all over and AF would be here today... but surprise I pretty much feel nothing today??? Cramps feel as though they are about to start and then nothing... hope it is a good sign but who knows?

Girls, girls, girls. Plse don't think me rude, I've been tracking you all with interest..new and old posters. I just haven't had time or yesterday the energy/inclination to type.

A huge congratulations to all those who are getting their well deserved BFP and a big hug ( ) to those who have been disappointed. There are so many people to address personally, so I'm doing a general cos I'm off to work real soon.

AFM - I read someone had gone and got their doc to give them a BT referral so I went to GP this am and did the same. We can't wait till the scan which is a week Thursday, so it'll either be going down (surely it'll go down now if it's not viable, it's been 3 weeks since transfer) or it'll have gone up slowly....we hope not, or it's shot through the roof

We both felt terrible yesterday but both felt better by the time we came back from work, and today feel on even keel again. My boobs are still a bit sore, I'm still tired...I don't know!!! Does your body's symptoms lag behind what's going on on the inside??

    Thinking of you all....a lot!!

Seph - I am so sorry to hear that AF has arrived and is causing you a lot of pain. I hope you recover well soon.

Airline - you must be feeling so frustrated. Good idea to get your bloods run again by your GP. I hope you get final confirmation soon and that your numbers have sky rocketed!

Jacdy - so sorry to hear about your BFN also. I hope you are doing ok and wish you all the best for next time.

Coral - GL with your BT tomorrow. I hope your dreams come true.

Baby2Bee - great news on your results so far. I hope it's a good sign and your BFP is on the way!

Paula - congrats on your frosties and wishing you all the best with the rest of your TWW.

Miss K - GL to you also on the end of your TWW and all the best for your wedding day... could prove to be a very exciting couple of weeks for you!

AFM - thank you all for your kind words and support. It's time for me to drop out of this tread now but I will be lurking and hopefully dropping in to wish you congratulations on the BFPs to come.

    Hi Ladies,

I'm afraid that I have also received a BFN along with Tarnya ( that it will be our time next Tarnya)

Was pretty devastated yesterday, however, feeling a little better this morning. I think it is has finally sunk in that this could be a long road and I need to emotionally find a way to detach myself from it (easier said than done of course!).

One good thing to come out of it was that my progesterone level (I think that was what is was?) was at 45 and that my lining was where it should have been... I guess it just wasn't my time

Heading straight back to do anther collection as no frosties left and have decided to give the acupuncture a go this time so hopefully that will help with nerves.

    Anyway enough of me...

Ok ladies... the next best thing to getting a BFN is to see some of you get a BFP so I'll be waiting to see all those 's come rolling in like Amy (Congratulations!
    !!!)

Here is A BIG GOOD LUCK TO THOSE ON 2WW and see you all back again in a few weeks time, xoxoxo
