hi girls
butterfly - good luck tmrw. hopefully it's a short stay in this thread for you.
cuddlepie - good luck on your TWW!
JBM - you're so positive, I love it. As for pregnyl injections, I don't have to have any for a FET? Only for the trigger. Does that sound strange?
AFM, my mood is wavering between positive and terrified. I've had some slightly pinkish cm yesterday (sorry if TMI)...I often get this 5 or so days before AF. But I'm not giving up! It's not over till it's over. I am going to POAS on Friday (BT is Tuesday). Basically I would expect AF to arrive on Friday if she is going to rear her ugly head. God I hope she doesn't. My hopes and dreams are pinned on this FET...there's something about the end of the year that really does that??
I hope everyone is well.

HI all,
Thanks Loula and smithy for directing me here. Hope everyone is doing ok and doesn't mind me joining this thread.
I'm doing my first ICSI cycle and am 10dpo in the dreaded 2 ww. ET was 9th, AF is due 18th and BT is 20th.
Have felt some signs like cramping and ultra sore boobs and some tiredness. I was really windy and bloated but that has settled now. I can even fit back in to my jeans which i haven't been able to do since EPU on 4th!!
Up to yesterday i was feeling really positive but after bad cramping around 4am saturday morning, i have kind of lost hope. DH is still quite positive and excited.
Have to say i don't think much of this waiting around, it's torture!
-
Butterfly - BFN = Big Fat Negative so BFP is Positive :) Its tricky at the start but it gets easier ;) Good luck with the BT (blood test) and I hope that a big fat BFP comes your way!!
JBM - Clinics are nasty aren't they - mine likes to wait extra long for BT's too so I can understand. But if you get a +hpt I am sure you'll be able to swing an earlier one. Happy to allow you to ignore all symptoms for as long as you need to.
CP - I could never test that early lol... I plan to test next Sat only because we are having dinner with some good friends and I'm either going to get very drunk or be the only very sober one. Hope that whenever the test happens, there is a beautiful second line waiting for you!!
Mels - Oh dear hun... Those mood swings are a nightmare aren't they. Hoping that its not a sign of anything dire and that the test again shows a pretty picture of 2 lines.
ibb - That could be implantation cramping hun... at 8dpo its very possible. But welcome in here, its nice to be insane right along with a few others.
:hello: Tania and Sue, and anyone else I may have missed.
AFM, got some pains this morning which are unusual, bb's are getting slightly sorer, but all in all, still pretty quiet on this front. 6dpo today so hoping its going to get really obvious that I am utd from here on. Positive thinking all the way lol.
-
hehe Glad you found it here ibb! Its a busy bunch in here of late
And i hope to be joining again soon after 9 mth off!
GL to all waiting for bt
-
thinking of you all ladies...hoping to see good results soon
-
Me update - lots of cramping and pain today at 6dpo. I have so many things crossed I am unrecognisable lol. Started this morning and even now, I stop with pain across the top of the uterine region.
-
Lulu, i think you are right about Pregnyl, lucky you told me otherwise I will just be excited for nothing!
Also, DH officially 'banned' me from POAS this cycle! We don't have any at home, I will see how I go with the 'ban' as we approaching closely...will be interesting! Might need a straight jacket! haha....
Hope you are all having a good Monday! I am feeling super ATM, cramping is goine except occassional a bit twige here or there but I think its just me over-analysing!
-
s'rose- sounds promising to me!
good luck everyone...so hoping we get some success in here
cuddlepie - I am usually banned from POAS but every time I cave in and do it anyway!
-
Sorry I havent been around much, just caught up in my own little world at the moment.
First beta on Thurs was 21, todays was only 44 so have been told that the pregnancy is not viable.
Am so upset, really trying to deal with it but not coping all that well. Have stopped my meds today and have to wait and see what happens, make sure its not ectopic etc.
-
Thanks Mels77 and S'Rose.
Had my BT and it was BFP. hcg 1000.
Praying for Christmas miracles for everyone!
All the Best
-
Sorry to hear that BecD, what a terrible time for you. Hopefully its not ectopic for you.
Butterfly - Congrats to you, yay on using the BFP for yourself.
-
hi guys, sorry i've dropped off the radar.
Just wanted to give you all hugs and wish you lots of baby luck!!
JBM your advice is golden and i think should be the theme of the thread: IGNORE ALL SYMPTOMS and if there's no symptoms - ignore that too.
great advice, hard to execute but something to strive for. i'll be taking that on board next cycle after reading way too much into our 2ww last month.
we are waiting for a fet in january. only one frostie so not feeling confident but hope to join tww then.
merry christmas

Hi Ladies, I am officially on the 2WW with you ladies. Now I know some of you already, I'm hoping to get to know everyone else soon!
JBM - Sending you :bluedust::pink-babydust: for a BFP, I hope you get good news soon!
Mels77 - Good luck hon, sending you :stickyvibesgirl::stickyvibesboy: and don't give up, keep up the good work so far!
BecD - Honey I'm sorry to hear your news, I hope you're ok, I feel for you  thnking of you and take care of yourself.
AFM - I had my transfer done on Sunday, it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I had 2 Blastocysts transferred, I am  for good news. My BT is on the 27th of December. Its such a long way to go.... Also I have been getting some Crinone symptoms today, hot flushes bad...and grumpiness feeling a bit down, but I'm not complaining, I can put up with all that, if I get a nice belated Christmas present :D
Everyone else I have missed, wishing you all good luck ladies, and I hope you all get a BFP soon.

Hi to all of you TWW...
well i am at the end of a bad tww. i am doing my POAS wednesday, but i already know what it will be. :crying:
i had my ET on 4th dec. i was dizzy and had lower back pain on days 4 & 5dpt. then i had a two day bleed with clots and back pain on day 6 &7dpt.
so i assume that this was my period.
although the nusre at the clinic said it may be an incomlete period as it was only 2 days???? she also said as i had two frosties transfered one may stick around??
today is day 28 and i am again experiencing morning dizzyness and lower back pains, but no other symptoms...
so i am in limbo land bigtime. i have been pregnant naturally before and it was so easy compared to this hell.
because this was a natural cycle i assume that if my period comes early that i may need to have progesterone next time??? i also read that it is a good thing to have the progesterone before the transfer??? anyone tried this????
has anyone out there in TWW land detoxed???? i stopped alchol, coffee and anything else that is bad or naughty....i read tonight that a glass of white wine each night is a good thing as it relaxes your uterus for implanting......maybe trying to do all the right things are not helping at all????!!!!
goodluck to you all with you BT's this month....
i couldn't think of a better xmas present...
michelle
-
kittycat - will keep fingers crossed for you. it might not be over yet!? I thought red wine thinned the blood - not sure whether this would help or hinder pregnancy?? good luck.
jen - congrats on your transfer!! good luck for this TWW (ps, hate crinone! evil stuff...)
grub, minniemouse, loula and possums - hiya! :hello:
butterfly - congrats! that was a very short visit! hopefully we all follow you outta here into the pregnancy thread very soon.
becD - I'm so sorry for you. I really hope you're doing ok  hoping your levels drop naturally and you can get back to a frozen cycle in the new year.
s'rose - hope the pains have stopped and that you're surviving the TWW.
cuddlepie - i hope you're surviving this TWW. know what you mean about the POAS ban! I could never ever stick to such a ban...the best I can do is to try and prolong POASing as much as possible!! Hope the twinges aren't driving you crazy (like they are doing for me!)
Ibb - don't give up hope!! countless friends have told me that AF symptoms are often identical to pg symptoms. So I agree with others - ignore all symptoms!!! Hope you're hanging in there.
JBM- how are you going???? I hope you're not going crazy (sadly, I think the madness has set in for me ) Hope that your positivity has continued and that your baby is snuggling in tight.
afm, I feel ok. still very slightly coloured (pinkish) CM (sorry, tmi again!) but I haven't been feeling as grumpy as I normally do pre-AF. Also my skin is still breaking out a bit (whereas it normally clears up before AF). So I figure this could definitely go either way at this point. Doing my best to ignore the twinges and tingling in my belly (but I like to think that it is my bubba holding on tight). I am going to POAS on Friday morning - 3 more sleeps - fingers and toes are crossed. (Sorry for the long post - but I wanted to catch up on everyone!)

wow, so many in TWW this time, i can hardly keep up.
Cuddlepie: yes POAS buddies on saturday, who cares what dh says?! good luck to you and sending you lots of sticky vibes .
lulu: thanks for the advice on injecting, i'm about to do number 3 injection and i'll try bit slower.
ibb: takes a while for swelling to go down after egg pick up, i'm still fat, or maybe that is i'm just a cuddly person anyway ? who knows. hope you feeling better soon
srose: hi to you , hope you going well
bec: hugs to you.:grouphug: so sorry for bfn. so sad . sending you some cyber hugs. xxoo
butterflyqld: YEAH, BFP !!!!!:bfp: congrats to you.
jen: crinone is yuk stuff.i don't like it at all
kittykat: hugs 4 you, i sort of detox. i never drink coffee or tea or alcohol, but i cut down on chocolate . don't know if it helped me? good luck next time.
mels: slight madness i think 4 me . remember " ignore ALL symtoms" even ignore no symtoms, ignore everything. fingers crossed for you.
afm: well i am about to have 3rd pregnyl injection and am starting to feel a little crazy. no real symtoms yet for me. still positive and i even told dh the baby's name yesterday. i think he thinks i am crazy.
i will be doing a test on saturday, so 4 days to go. :noaf:
-
Janet, if you are still doing Pregnyl injection now, Im afraid Saturday POAS can be misleading then...as Lulu point it out, it can stay in your system for 5 days....but hey with a fist of salt, you go crazy!
-
:crossfingers: GOOD LUK TO YOU ALL:pray:
-
hi all,
congrats to anyone who has or will have a :bfp: this month......
i am out of the TWW race today. did a POAS like advised by nurse and it was a :bfn: just a i had known it would be. anyway i am off to see FS tomorrow for a new plan of attack.
it is so different this time then when i did the full stim IVF. last time i was so sad and depressed. now i am just getting angry at my body for not making it work!
Butterflyqld~. congratulations for your BFP. that's the best xmas present you can get!
BecD~ i know what your going through. i had a hcg of 7. i was totally convinced i was pregnant and then told that it was not viable. i wish i had just been told BFN insteadand being so close.
will think of doing a fet in february. i only have 2 embies left.maybe i could use them then go back to IUI for awhile????
anyone had success with chinese herbs????
thanks...

hi to my TWW friends.
cuddlepie: i will be crazy for sure if i have to wait 5DAYS to test. THAT'S SUNDAY !!!!!
arrggggggg. hope you are doing well. lots of sticky dust coming your way.
kittykat: so sorry BFN. hugs to you
everyone else: mels, where are you? good luck to all in TWW

also got acupuncture tomorrow, fri so that should be good for me.
trying not to go insane. still feeling ok. sending good luck to all.
-
Between this morning and now, I have been depressed, happy, then sad, then depressed and now ok again. I don't know...my body is telling me that AF is coming and I think my mind is refusing to believe it and hanging onto hope. I am a bit sick of this...well, I hope AF stays away....:SAAF::SAAF::SAAF:
Well done Janet for getting over the last Pregnyl injection...yay! Ok, let's postpone POAS till sunday then....:-)
Hi to all and special hug to Mel, hope you are well....
-
Hi everyone,
I think i'm officially going craxy now - alot of my symptoms have dulled, still have minor cramping and sore BB but i am desperate just to know now i'm over this TWW!
So when to test .... i would like some opinions....
Last pregnyl (1500iu) was Sunday i was told to POAS Mon by FS nurse as they are closed so no BT BUT i can do a BT at work whenever i want????????????????? I want to POAS sat or sun CD29/30 (i had IUI cd 14) oh god i don't know what to do.....
Sorry about me post but i'm just so confused
I will BBL for personnals but your thoughts would be great.
xxBella
-
Bella, if your last injection was Sunday, then I think you can POAS this coming Sunday....normally it takes about 5 days to get the drug out of your system...good luck hun...I can understand how you feel because I am in the same boat!
-
hi everyone...hang in there..the waiting is horrible, especially after an ivf cycle...
kittycat- so sorry it wasn't to be for you this time round
I am not expecting anything to happen this natural cycle, but of course part of me hopes a miracle will happen...i haven't felt any symptoms... i think I am 7dpo
I dont have any POAS at home...I am trying not to buy any..probably will though!
-
Kittycat - so sorry you had to go through the final confirmation. But I am glad you get to see your FS tomorrow and formulate the next plan of attack.
Mels - Hoping that the swing is in favour of a miracle. Sincerely hope the POAS Friday is very friendly to you.
JBM - Its definitely a crazy wait time... hope you can hold on until Sunday and that it gives a nice clear bfp.
Tania - Hope you are going well hun.
Possums - I hope that this cycle is kind to you and that you can resist the poas for a while longer. Praying that a sticky little miracle is headed your way.
Cuddlepie - Oh hun, I know what you mean and the hope and its fickleness lol. Hoping that its confusion means a little christmas bundle on the way.
AFM: Still getting the mild pains on and off every day... 8dpo today, so it needs to keep it up for about another week. I am hopeful and yet fearful all the time, as expected I suppose. But these pains are something very new, so potentially terribly exciting. I have definitely got fatigue, but thats easy to blame on a whole range of other things ;)
Good luck to us all.
-
I would also be encouraged by those pains S'rose...I had pains, stabbing, cramping, ovulation style, during the TWW when I was pregnant..well from about 8DPO anyway
-
hi to all but just wanted to send a special note and hug to BecD.
I'm so sorry for your news. i hope it isn't eptopic.
I'm thinking of you - hope you are okay. i don't want to say "hang in there" cos I can't even imagine how down and upset you are feeling atm. so will just send you hugs.:hug:
oxoxox
-
Hi all, sorry no time for personals as i have to go get dinner ready for DH.
I am 13dpo today. AF due tomorrow. Having twinges for last couple days and some AF like cramping yesterday and today. I think that Pregnyl is nasty stuff. It gave me all the symptoms of a BFP, sore boobs, wind, bloatiness than it all disappeared. It took about 6-7 days for me and i have not POAS'd as yet. I think i will if AF doesn't come tomorrow.,:pray: stay away AF.,
To all the rest good luck with the 2ww, i hate it! It's torturous and i thought this would be easy...
-
Ibb, you are two days ahead of me, today is my DPO11...very much the same like you, I have cramps on and off all day and now have lower back pain now...it somehow feels a light different from AF cramp so I am hoping its better things happening inside....
Hope AF won't show up tomorrow and you get to see the 'two lines'...
-
Hi Girls
Not in the TWW myself but wanted to pop in and send lots of :stickyvibesgirl: to everyone.
I am hoping for a FET in Jan so it won't be long before i am back in here - but with a different ending :crossfingers:
Good luck everyone !!!!! May there be many BFP just in time for Christmas
-
Hi, well my time in here was short. AF did show up this morning. :(Quite depressed about it but was not surprised. I hope you all have better success. Sending good vibes to all the 2ww's. Will check in to see how you all go. Thanks for the support you gave me.
-
Becd- just wanted to say hope you are doing ok...sorry for what you've gone through
ibb- really sorry you got a BFN this time round....be kind to yourself
-
ibb, I am sorry to hear that AF arrived this morning.... it must be hard! I hope you are ok hun and take care....
-
ibb - I'm also very sorry for you. I hope you're doing ok.
afm, things aren't looking good...I've had some more pink cm again this morning (getting slightly darker). Still praying for a miracle, but holding little hope since this normally precedes AF. Still fingers crossed for everyone.
Mels xx

AFM, have been a little crappy even since ovulation which was a week and a half ago so dont know what that means??? Ive heard of cramping around 6 - 8dpo but not the next day. Im fairly tired but work has been FLAT OUT and Christmas break cant come quick enough!!!!! AF is due Saturday/Sunday.
Hello to everyone else I have missed.
Good luck girls and :noaf:
Tania :D
-
hey TWW buddies, hoping all is well.
mels: PUPO remember. (pregnant untill proven otherwise) fingers crossed.
afm: well i am still so good and my sis rang today and can't believe i'm trsting on sunday and still feel good and calm about it. actually i feel too good, if that is possible?
got acupuncture tomorrow and just relaxing.
sending some sticky dust to all.
i'm testing on sunday and monday as pregnyl can give false pos. fingers crossed. this is it, my BFP is just around the corner. yeah
-
Hello to everyone,
Well my instructions from the clinic were: if no period by mon 22nd then do urine preg test (they close fri for xmas break so no BT) i have been tempted to POAS much earlier and have now found out that DH is going away sun & mon night so we have decided to do a BT on Saturday? I had my last pregnyl last Sun and Sat will be CD 29 do you think this is ok?
not feeling very positive but it ain't over til AF arrives!!!!
xxBella
-
Janet, you sound so positive, glad everything is still looking so terrific! I can test on Sunday I think (my last pregnyl was last Friday) but I think I will try to hold off...I don't know why Janet but this cycle I am just so calm and not so drawn to those evil sticks any more! I think I might just wait for the b/t on Monday. But I will be all ears to hear how you go on Saturday hunny! I know it will be a big fat positive!
Bella, just saw your post, I think you can test Saturday and it should give a relatively accurate reading if lasgt pregnyl was last Sunday....best of luck hun!
-
hiya girls
Janet and Cuddlepie - I've got everything crossed for you. I really hope this is your month.
bella - good luck with the HPT! Bring home a BFP for us!
Tania - thanks for your wishes, I hope you're well.
AFM, still more slightly pinky CM. I'd love anyone's comments on their CM at this stage of the cycle?? I find I have loads of it and of varying consistency (sorry, TMI!!) I've searched the net for what is "normal" but can't seem to find much on it?? Basically I need to wear a liner, or I'd be uncomfortable...anyone else?? What a hideous topic. Sorry ladies! Anyway, holding out for a miracle. Will be POASing in the morning (and I bought a digital, so no need to squint for that second line!)
Mels

Well my TWW is over. AF arrived this afternoon (2 days early) I am devastated. Was really hoping for a natural Christmas miracle but it wasnt meant to be. I just feel so empty and down right now. Have a work Christmas dinner tonight and I feel like not going. I HATE having to act all "cheery and festive" when my heart is breaking inside.
I now have to start another stim cycle so hope to be back in here some time in Feb.
Good luck to everyone.
My fingers and toes are crossed. Lots of :bluedust:
Tania
