Just popped in to check on Deni ..... Yay, yay, yay!!! Congratulations!!! Aren't you glad now that you proceeded with the IVF route eh!!
ATT - yay to you to on the new career path. There will be no real issues towork as vet nurse if you are pg. I am a vet myself and worked right through my DS pregnancy. Just where gloves anywhere near cat poo , don't take xrays and care around anaesthetic machines etc. I hope you really enjoy the work, its a great profession (just very, very underpaid I'm afraid to say!)
Collo - crossing fingers for great embies tomorrow. Remember, it only takes one - just look at our friend Deni!
Speaking of vet clinics, I worked tonight at a new clinic I have recently started at. Doing only 1 night a week and some weekend work (can't bear to be away from DS any more than that atm). has been a bit stressful being somewhere new and not knowing where everything is but was good to take my mind of the damn TWW!
-
Deni, I am so happy for you, well done hun! That embie did bloody good job I'd say!
ATT, congrats on your new profession. Good on you for changing to sth you really love. 3 days a week sounds great. I think you will be very relaxed while you TTC, it will be a good balance...take whatever the good fortunate present to you and enjoy it, you totally deserve it hun!
Isn't that funny sometimes TTC also affect our decision on career. I did the same thing, resigned from my full time job and thinking of just contracting or doing a bit consulting work and be flexible, ie doing 3 days a week, but unfortunately work has been flooding in and I am still working 5 days a week at the moment. I think I will have to say 'no' after Easter...but I do like the flexibility of 'me controling the work', I am just being a bit greedy at the moment after our stim cycle...at least I can accumulating some cash for the next round...
Collo, hope you will soon have a great fert report and all is well!
Wish everyone else a great week!
-
Thanks for all the congrats girls! I still feel weird about it all - as in, is it really happening?!?!?!
Delly - :SAAF: :SAAF: - I got AF feelings too so I'm hoping you'll get a bfp - good luck with your POAS !!!
ATT - sounds fantastic, a career change!! I've been floundering about for the past 3 years, thinking I want to do something different, but becuase I wanted to start a family, have just kept putting it off!!! Also, I have NO CLUE of what I'd like to do next. I'm an occupational therapist and always thought I would have a change at some point.. just don't know what's next! I'm hoping inspiration will come to me soon!! All the best with your change!!
Collo - remember you only need 1 in the end - I was really worried when I only got 1 egg collected - the plan was originally to wait for blastie but they did a day 3 transfer because I only had 1 - I really hope your 5 end up as beautiful blasties!!! :goodluck: - hope to see you in the TWW very soon!!
Delly was your BT tomorrow? I remember someone's was Wednesday. :crossfingers: :crossfingers:
-
WOW ... hi there Sharon ... a HUGE :happyforyou: CONGRATULATIONS on your BFP. I've just come snooping for some familiar names in the LTTTC (as this is probably where I should be by now) and BAM ... your great news was up in lights.
Good luck for the weeks and months ahead. Hope to join you soon.
-
Hi Girls!
Thanks for all the kind words and well wishes regarding my new career, as I am due to start next week - it should keep me busy for the last of my TWW.
Thanks Meredith for the feedback on what to be aware of - I know the pay isn't great, but I am sure I am going to love it!
Deni - How is your Aunt holding up?
Delly - Did you POAS yet?
Collo - Hope you get a fantastic result and all 5 make it to Blastie stage.
Who is next to test?
Hope everyone has a fantastic day!
-
Hi All - POAS = BFN this morning but AF still not arrived. Not sure if I should be holding out any hope. Bit down (had to do the whole thing with DP on speaker phone as he is in Melbourne!). The stopped crying and walked the dog and a bird shat on my head - I am not kidding. I feel like pond scum!
Today is another day!

Hi girls
Hope you don't mind if I join in. After 2 failed stim cycles i'm finally able to join you all after a successful natural cycle. This is also my first time to have a transfer so no matter what the outcome we've come further this time than ever before. My BT is scheduled for Thursday 6th March so I guess i'm almost halfway through the wait. :)
Can anyone tell me is it normal to have AF type pains yet have no sign of her? My FS told me implantation would take place yesterday or today but Monday night I had serious AF type pains and yet nothing. Is this normal? My transfer was last Thursday. No sign of implantation spotting either. Sorry TMI, I know.
I hope you're all well and I have my fingers crossed and I'm :pray:ing for all of you.
Dellydoo, I remember you from a previous LTTTC thread. Don't give up hope yet.

Hi Mon - that is awesome news that you have got to transfer - :stickyvibesgirl::stickyvibesboy: for you sweetheart.
Not giving up hope - am giving up walking the dog without protective headgear!:p
-
ATT - well done honey - God I would love to work Part Time - good on you for following your dreams
SP - those 12 days will fly by - pg vibes to you!'
Axxxx
-
Delly, crossing evrything for you that POAS was false negative. When is your BT?
Deni - hope you are still floating on cloud 9. Enjoy every minute of your miraculous pregnancy!
ATT - Best of luck for next week. I am sure you will love the job. I went part time after 2nd m/c and it was the best thing ever. just to hard to work full time and go through AC and stay vaguely sane!
SP - just trying to pass the days like you. they drag eh?
Mon - welcome and congrats on getting to ET. Are you on pessaries? They seem to cause cramping in a lot of women.
I am having similar issues at present and just hoping its the pessaries or early sign of pg. I know I had a bit with DS but can't remember when or how bad.
Like Mon, I am having a lot of cramping today and feeling generally cruddy. AF should be 5 days away yet so praying its not her but feels a bit like my last cycle (BFN). My belly is also sore from the daily clexane injections and i Just feel like I haven't got the energy to deal with all this atm. I know I am whinging but cripes, i just want to be pg, not go through all this trauma EVERY MONTH FOR NOTHING!! Sorry guys just one of those days today.
-
Meredith and Mon, this cycle felt just like any other cycle for me too. I got AF cramping a few days before my final BT. Don't give up hope yet! Nurse said AF cramping is very normal.
Rachel - OMG great to see you!! I haven't seen you in AAGGES!!! Thanks for checking in. Really hope to see you with a BFP very very soon! :bluedust:
ATT - thanks for asking, I visited my aunt again tonight, she truly is amazing. She's in pain but she's looking quite perky and is very matter-of-fact about her leg (she threw the sheet off to show us all) -I hope she isn't grieving silently and not telling anyone.. but she certainly gets heaps of visitors.. she'll be moved to a rehab hospital hopefully in a week or two.
Delly, sorry about yoru POAS bfn. There's still time for that hcg to kick in ... I reckon bird ****ting on your head is a SIGN of good things to come!!!! (it's considered very lucky in asian countries, after all !!)
Salt, hope the TWW flies by for you with that BFP at the end :crossfingers:
:bluedust: to everyone!
-
Morning fellow TWWers
Deni - Glad to hear that your Aunt is recovering, I'm sure that it will take some time to deal with all this issues associated, but she sure sounds like a fighter! How are you feeling? Any morning sickness?
Delly - I am hoping like crazy that it was a defective POAS, or that it was just too early. Remember that it aint over until the old witch shows her face.
Meredith - I can't wait to get in there and start, I'm sure it will help the last of my TWW fly.
Mon - Welcome, we have the same test day - lets hope it's a great one!
Salt - Sounds like you have an extra long TWW too - mine was 17 days, but down to 7 now! Hope its the last one you need to do until you are ready for a sibling!
As for me - I have some AF type pains today and I am beginning to lose it a little. The first week or so isn't so bad, but when you get down to the last week - you realise that it's only a matter of time before you know (one way or another). Hopefully I can keep busy and POAS day will be here before I know it.
Who is the next to BT - Delly do you have a BT or are you just supposed to POAS?
:bluedust: to all!
Have a great day!:D
-
Hi All
TWW is definately over - AF has arrived to day with a vengeance. Feeling OK but getting violent cramps. I think she tried to hold on but no good. Good luck to everyone - I think Karma in the universe means that there will be lots of BFPs for you all:bluedust:
Have contacted FS and we are going to try again next cycle!
Thank you for all your support - I will be lurking to hear good news!
Hugs

Oh Delly I am so sorry to hear that.
Best of luck with your next cycle :goodluck:, hope its the one!
Hope the cramping eases off - a nice big glass of wine is sure to help!
-
Hi everyone,
Delly - Good luck with your next cycle I'll be thinking of you.
Meredith - My FS didn't prescibe any pessaries just two shots of Pregnl 1500iu which I had on Saturday and again yesterday. I've had no more cramping since Monday night thank goodness. I spoke to a close friend yesterday and she said she had the same AF type pains in her TWW during both pregnancies and is now the mother of two gorgeous children. I'm keeping my fingers crossed it's a good sign!!:crossfingers:
Deni - Congratulations on your pregnancy - enjoy every moment
ATT - Congratulations on your new job. Good luck starting next week, i'm sure it will keep you very busy and take your mind off next Thursday. I'm so glad we have the same test date. My BT is booked for 7.45am and I should know the results around 11am. Are you doing a BT or POAS? I'll be  ing for both of us.
Sending everyone lots of :stickyvibesboy: and :bluedust:

Hi all,
Sorry haven't been keeping in touch very well... just been extremely busy over past few days (good to keep mind off TWW).
It looks like so much has happened.
Firstly Delly, sorry that horrible AF has come to visit. I know there is nothing that anyone can say to make it feel better so here is a big hug. :hugs: All the best for your next cycle.
ATT congratulations on your new job. Working part time and in a job you love is wonderful, especially at this time.
Carla I was so sorry to hear about it not working this time. I'm sorry I am late with this, but I am wishing you all the best for your next try.
Deni what fantastic news about your BFP! Well done you!!!!! I hope you have a wonderful pregnancy and enjoy every moment of it. Best wishes for a speedy recovery for your Aunt.
Well not much happening with me. I am almost 1 week down, and really not feeling anything. Not even sore BB's which normally happens from the Pregnyl injections. Only thing is that I have been feeling really tired, but that could just be because I have been busy! Just quietly starting to do my head in as I get closer to the OWW.
Best wishes to all.
-
Hi Lovely ladies... just wanted to pop in and see how everyone is going this afternoon... I think that my BB are starting to get sore, but that could be just because of me poking at them every 5 minutes  You should see the looks I get at work. :cryinglaugh:
Anyhoo... hope you are all well and not driving yourselves as crazy as this BB fiddling woman!
-
Hi ladies,
I just wanted to thank you for your support over the last two weeks and let you know that we are successfully on board with hCG of 1130 and this time around I am having some other wonderful symptoms(didn't have them with Nov's M/C) so feeling a little more postitve congrats to all who have recieved their news this month and I will be checking next month to see some BFP's ladies so good luck....... I will keep everything crossed for you
-
Blizz, FANTASTIC news -congratulations !!! :happyforyou: :happyforyou: !!!!!
Delly - so sorry about AF  Glad you've got a plan in place for next cycle though.
I started to feel a bit worried today, a bit AF-crampy. I checked with my best friend though and she said she got all the signs period was coming up until 8 weeks pregnant (she's 23 wks now). Made me relax a bit!! Hanging out for my next BT though.. it will be good to see a second set of numbers to compare against the first. It's so silly to spend so much time worrying over the TTC bit only to worry still after bfp!!!! I'm hoping that will all go away within a few weeks. Haven't been having any morning sickness yet. I told a work friend I'd be so excited the day I chuck up !!! (then I'll want it to go away, haha!). BBs still pretty sore but absolutely no change in how they look - oooh I'm hanging out for a C cup !!
-
 Awww Blizz that is fantastic news - all the best for the next 9 months! Hope it's a wonderful pregnancy!
Deni - I'm sure things will be fine, you so deserve this! When is your next BT?
As for me still feeling a little crampy, but I am off to look over the clinic today and work out rosters, etc!
Have a lovely day ladies!
:D
-
:hello: Morning Ladies... Hope everyone had a good and restful night. Me... I just can't seem to get enough sleep at the moment... Hopefully that is a good sign, but we will see
Blizz: Congratulations that is wonderful news. I wish you all the best for your pregnancy. :bellyrubs:
Deni: My sister is about 8 weeks pregnant and she has had AF cramps all the way through. Doctor told her it is quite normal. So I am sure all is fine and you will have a wonderful, joyful pregnancy.
-
Well ladies, I hope everyone has a wonderful, relaxing weekend. If I don't get a chance to check in, I will talk to you all on Monday.
Me... I have my last 1500iu Pregnyl shot on Saturday and then it is truely the waiting game.
:SAAF::SAAF::SAAF:

Hi Ladies, Have been a bit busy to get on past few days
Blizz - great to hear some more positive news - Congratulations!!! Looking forward to joining you and Deni in the pregnancy forum (soon I hope!)
Delly - so sorry that the witch showed her unwanted face. I hope this is the last time for a very long time.
Deni - Great news re your Aunt, what a strong lady! Hoping you get some more symptoms soon - its always very reassuring to feel completely awful,....ha..ha.
People who fall pg easily just don't get that at all.
ATT - Hoping this week goes as fast as possible. I'm into my last few days and trying hard not to go crazy.
Mon - I know in my head cramps can actually be a good sign but still hate the feeling AF is lurking. I have been pg three times (only one child) and had cramps every time but they don't seem to differ to much if pg or not.
Janie - best of luck for you too getting through the last week. Hopefully ther is a "pot of gold" at the end
SP - Your TWW seems very long. I only have to wait the 14days after IUI. Will you be POAS before BT? I couldn't hold out that long
Me, not sure what I feel this cycle. One minute I feel really positive that its all good and the next, I'm thinking its all over. My body is not helping at all!! The past 1-2 days I have felt a bit queazy (more than just in my head I think) -good sign- but then I get a bout of bad cramping -bad sign!! Think I am going to have to give in very soon and POAS. I can usually hang out until 13dpo but not sure this time. I am 11dpo today and just desperate to know one way or another.
-
Hi everyone
Im so excited to say I am offically in the two week wait or 11 day wait Blood test on March 12th. Transferred 1 early blastie today and will probably have 1 or 2 to freeze. Stck little one stick!!!!!!!!!!!!! :stickyvibesgirl::stickyvibesgirl:
-
Got the call today to say none made it to be able to freeze !!! so this is our only hope. Not sure when ill be able to a full stim cyclce again there is so much travelling and time off work involved if this little on isnt strong ebough to hang on......:pray::pray:
-
Hi Girls,
I hope you don't mind me joining you.
Had my ET last Friday 29th Feb, one hatching blastie - so now comes the hard part have to sit and wait for BT. BT is on 10th march but because we live in the country i have to wait 24hrs for the results:(
want to wish you all the best of luck :bluedust: to all.
I have only ever done one FET before, and when i did that i was told that AF would not come due to taking est tablets and Progestrone pessaries - i am doing the same this time (different clinic tho) and when i read the paperwork it says if you bleed to not stop medication - now i am confused - can anyone shed some light on this - i was under the impression AF would not show due to meds.????
-
Just popping in to wish you the very best of luck Lissie.
Take care XX
-
Hey lissie
Just wishing you lots of sticky vibes in the TTW hope you get BFP. Your blood test is two days before mine so we can share our anxietys together. Hopefully I dont wear you out with my insanity trips :lol::lol: Figers crossed for you and Ill be praying extra for you aswell
-
Mumo5 and Collo4,
Thanks for your good wishes - i think i need all i can get.
Collo4 i will say a little  for you too! Wishing you loads of sticky vibes - lets just pray this week goes fast.
-
Hey everyone, I hope you all had a good weekend. Me, I slept most of it! Really did not want to get up this morning for work either. My BB are tender, although not as bad as they have been in past months, and they tend to get really tender when AF is about to rear her ugly head. I've had a bit of nausea, which I can probably attribute to the pregnyl shot on Saturday.
And probably the worst thing I did was a HPT on Sunday... I know that everyone is going to say that it is too early etc... but I have never had a positive test before... As I had had my last Pregnyl shot on Saturday, I thought why not test and see what it looks like. I know it is probably a bit of an insane thing to do, but it was really neat to see a positive test. Only thing is, the line was not very dark and that has got me thinking that if I was pregnant, it should be darker considering I had 1500iu of Pregnyl the day before... what are your thoughts??? I know I have brought this on myself, but your thoughts on the darkness of the line would be appreciated.
Anyhoo, hope you are all well. Lissie... all the very best for your TWW. I hope your wishes come true at the end of it.
-
Hey everyone :)
I've been a LTTTC & ACer for about 5 months now and I've just had my 3rd ET today so I'm entering my third TWW today :D
This cycle was a medicated FET, and I've just had my ET about 30mins ago. I'm scabbing some wireless access outside the clinic before I head back home where I don't have internet access!
I'm really quite excited - the thaw went very well - our embryo was already going forward from 4 cells when frozen and was 7 cells when I saw it on the screen at transfer, about to divide to 8. I feel so fortunate and grateful that we only had to thaw the one embryo. Both my FS and embryologist were quite excited it - my FS said more than once "It's a beautiful embryo - we've been admiring it!"
Our BT is on 17 March. So, feeling very cautiously optimistic, if I can use that double oxymoron :)
Unfortunately with my lack of internet access, I can't be here everyday, as I would love to be a regular, constant support to everyone here and receive regular support during this TWW, but I will pop in as soon as I can, and hope to stay up to date with how everyone is doing.
Good Luck to you all, and may we all get through the next few hours, the next few days and the next couple of weeks.
Hugs,
Miss C

Hi Girls
Just a quick allo from me i will come back and do personals soon, hope everyone is travelling well. I have made it back into the lovely TWW today having IUI this morning, i have 5 follies, so nearly got cancelled, but as i only have one tube and the big follies were on the wrong side they let me go ahead, FS said chances are 10%, not great really so im not to hopeful, but i guess you never know!! Gotta run have a great day and happy public hols to all the W.A.ers ;)
-
:hello: Miss c and Scooby,
Just wanted to wish you both all the luck in the world on your TWW - i really hope you both get a BFP.
:bluedust: to all the girls here and  for BFP's all round.
-
Hi ladies just popping in to scatter some more :stickyvibesboy::stickyvibesgirl: for you all and a bit of:bluedust:
-
Evening ladies,
Hope everyone had a good weekend.
Janie - Hope the time is passing ok for you. What date is your BT?
Has for HPT lines - I think the sensitivity varies greatly between brands and will also be affected by the concentration of your urine. If you are truly testing for pregnancy, don't worry so much about darkness of lines, just if there is 2 there
Miss C - wishing you all the best this cycle. Third time lucky eh? This little emby sounds like it is very likely to be "the one"
Lissie - just wanted to wish you all the best for this cycle too. Sounds like it has been a long road for you.
As for me, well, its 14dpo today after a very long and not so "ideal" cycle. IUI was cancelled due to falling on a sunday and to many follies to risk another day. So we had to fall back on au natureal DTD. I have finally made it to today with no sign of AF so I had my BT. I am very pleased to announce WE GOT A BFP!!!! HCG levels 448 so looking good so far.
I confess, I did do a couple of HPTs over the w/e which were positive but I didn't feel safe to announce until I'd had the BT.
Still very nervous. After 2 prior m/cs, I won't feel like I can really celebrate until we get to 12 weeks. Crossing fingers this one is a sticker.
Hoping the wave of BFPs spreads to the rest of you lovely ladies. Remember, you don't need a "perfect" cycle for miraculous things to happen
-
OMG Meridith CONGRATULATIONS !!!!!!! :happyforyou: :happyforyou: - What FANTASTIC news !!!!!! And a DTD BFP at that !!! :confetti: :confetti: and also :stickyvibesboy: :stickyvibesgirl: Maybe you can join me in the Nov 1-15 thread!
Scooby - ACE that the IUI went ahead!!! Hope the next two weeks fly by with a Big fat BFP at the end !!!
Miss_C - :bluedust: to your lovely embie !!!
Janie - I weakened and did a HPT before my BT too, while I still had pregnyl in my system - it's nice to see that second line - I really hope you get some great news with your BT :crossfingers:
Salt - how's my perth buddy doing ?
My followup BT was this morning, my levels are now 3000 !! (last monday were 200) - so I'm stoked. Have relaxed quite a bit now though I know I have a long way to go yet! Still no symptoms to speak of, BBs a bit sore but no bigger (dangNAMMIT!), no more tired than usual, not feeling sick. A few funny feelings in my tummy, a bit uncomfy if I stretch in bed for example.
Best wishes all you lovely ladies!!!
-
Meredith,
Congratulations  well done so very happy for you. Thankyou for your good wishes.
Deni - congrats to you to and what a great rise in numbers.
Wishing you both a very happy and healthy pregnancy.
-
Meredith - That is fantastic news, I am so happy for you, all the best for your pregnancy, I will have my fingers crossed for you :crossfingers:
Mon, Janie, Salt - How are you all going? Hanging in there? Not too much longer!
Collo, Lissie and Scooby - Welcome, may your stays be short, sweet and successful!
As for me I am really over this waiting. Today is 15 days since the IUI and I can't believe I still have to wait another 2 days before testing. I have been feeling really crampy and I have a feeling that AF may be lurking, but I guess it aint over till it's over. I am torn between wanting to test and also terrified that it will be a BFN, so am putting it off to continue the dream of a BFP as long as possible. I think I may cave and test tomorrow morning, even if it is a day early, i'm sure it won't make that much of a difference.
Hope everyone has a lovely day.
:D
-
Hi everyone
Congratulaions Meridith how exciting for you:dance::dance::dance:
Wishing everyone who has joined the TWW lots of BFP'S
As for me I have 8 more sleeps till my blood test. Transfer was on saturday of an early blastie and on saturday night had lots of peroid aches and again yesterday. Not sure what to think of that. My BB'S are aching and are so so so tender. Does anyone know how long ovidreldril lasts in the system I had mine 10 days a go and now am on pesseries and clexaine. Just hoping BB'S are sore for good reasons hehehehe.
Goodluck everyone hope we all get a dreams tocome true really soon......
-
Hi everyone,
To all the TWW's hope you're all well and as relaxed as can be. :)
Miss C - Congratulations on such a good looking embryo. With such positive comments from your FS i'm sure this is 'the one'.
Janie 71 - I've been having similar symptoms to you since last Friday night - sore BB and a little nausea. My last pregnl injection was last Wednesday so i'm not sure if i'm feeling the side effects ofthe pregnl or if these are positive signs.
Meredith - Congrats on your :bfp: What a fantastic result. I'm so happy for you and I'm sure you'll enjoy this pregnancy.
Deni - Well done on having such a huge rise in your levels - now you can relax!
Mumof5, Collo04, Lissie, Scooby - Good luck to you all. Sending you lots of :stickyvibesgirl::stickyvibesboy: and :bluedust:
ATT - not long to go now. How are you feeling?
As for me the TWW is starting to get to me. I'm fantasising about POAS but telling myself it's better to wait for my BT on Thursday morning. I'm starting to stress each day thinking that i can feel AF coming. :SAAF: but so far nothing yet. Girls - what do you think? Should I POAS or wait?
