Well it looks like im out and as much as id like to say see you in the next TWW (as it has been so great going through it with you girls) i hope i dont cause your all going to get BFP!!!!!
Thought id do a little experiment though for all the girls on pregnyl (or maybe its just my POAS obsession:lol:) I did the deed this morning and still got a really faint really difficult to see false +ive thats 6 days since the pregnyl injection, it was good having the one i did on wed to compare it with as it is much paler.
Well it really has been great thank you for making this journey soooo much easier, and ill be lurking lookin for all those BFP good luck :grouphug:

Oh Scoob...I'm so sorry hunnie...I am soooooo nervous I may end up the same way. Your fellow POAS addict friend (moi) did her first test this morning...only 2 days after last Pregnyl. Faint positive - BUT I know its the drugs. I am doing the same as you to see if it gets more faint or strong. As heartening or disheartening as it maybe, it is easier for me doing this then waiting for the BT phonecall having no idea. This gives me sometime to absorb it I guess. Sorry again Scoob...I sooooo hope it's your turn next month...

Lulu- I knew I'd wake up to find out you did a POAS..Are you ok? I get the reasoning behind it though. That's why I've decided to join you on your POAS journey.. HOLD ON ..HOLD ON.. Don't get too excited. Mum hasn't bought them over yet-Oh sweet mum-she gets it!! And I've already done my first wee of the day. So now I really should wait til tomorrow shouldn't I?? I know what you are going to say but I'm only like 68 hours away from BT.. And is there any difference really between the Pregnyl and these FOUL pessaries?? May be too much info but I'm a bit sore down there and I KNOW it's the pessaries cause that's about all that can happen there these days!!! BUT YAY.. No AF. Thank goodness. Hope you are having a good Friday. I'm going to try to go for some lunch with my mum today..thanks for the little push!! Last night was great!!

I'm travelling fine, if a little tired from being at the clinic at 7am for my BT. Day is progressing very slowly, but I've got another 3 interviews this afternoon so that will help the time to pass. DH is taking the call due to my meetings and I know he's lurking so he might post and put you all out of your misery LOL
You guys should buy sticks in bulk and share! I thought my 3 was excessive ;) I get what you mean with needing a head start to cope with the news though.
Bel which pessaries are you using? Crinone gel or the waxy ones? I was on Crinone gel and found them to be a bit gross and did make me sore. It's made of this stuff that's designed to stick "up there", so at least you're not leaking too much all day but they say (on the web at least) that lots of it can get stuck up there and come out all at once (apparently as large as golf balls!). Haven't had that experience yet, but happy that I finished my last one on Tuesday!!!!!
Not sure what's the difference between the injections and the gel sorry.

Hey Tish- At the moment I'm using crinone in the morning and 2 wax pessaries at night. Was only using crinone to use up last of my supplies- was told to do this by my clinic as they said both have the same result. But tomorrow I start on 1 wax pessary in the morning and 2 at night. And trust me- the golf ball thing is true!!, although I haven't quite experienced that size and hope never to.
I'm so happy you are busy today. You seem to be coping really well. I hope to follow in your footsteps on Monday, but I bet I'm a bloody basketcase!!

Ahhh so the lovely Bel has finally risen from her late (again..) slumber...Geez - I hope you are PG because how are you ever going to get up for early sign-on again??? Seriously - no point testing till tomorow morning (or afternoon when the Princess awakes) because at this early stage...if there is any HCG in your system it will only be concentrated enough in first pee of the a.m.
Tish - ok you're gonna laugh now...I do buy them in bulk on the net (omg how embarrassing..:lol:). Seriously though...I have been going so long, can you imagine how much it would cost me to do like 5 or 6 everytime...I would be even more broke then I am now..

oh - and the pessaries dont have the same effect on the POAS as the Pregnyl shots. The pessaries are just progesterone and the pregnyl is same wih HCG in it - this is what you produce when pregnant..

4 POAS positives yes
NOPE no pregnyl shots at all, was on 2 weeks of crinone twice daily.
Had crampy like pain but nothing bad.
Nope NO spotting.
Cheeky Lulu- Tell me about it!! I am LOVING my sleeping in. But last night was the earliest night I have had for ages. Got in to bed at midnight. So I'm not a total sloth!! Just a night owl at the moment. And you'll probably be happy to know that mum isn't coming over today now so no POAS for me today. Will have to be tomorrow now. At least I know that if I get a BFP it actually is a BFP. There has to be some pros in using these disgusting pessaries.. But in terms of treatment, do you think the injections are any better than the pessaries?? I honestly never heard of the injections til I started chatting to you.
And some more good news for you. The princess will be waking in the morning tomorrow because she is leaving the confines and going to her in laws house, for her father in laws birthday..the princess is making progress. So for this..I thank you

I'm tending to agree with you and Lulu about the POAS 2-3 times to see what happens... last BT result wait was agonizing and then I felt like i'd been kicked in the guts when I finally got it (don't you just HATE the way you can tell from the nurses tone of voice even when they just greet you, straight away what the result is... but i guess the tone should suit the news...)

HA HA HA!! You crack me up Lulu!!! Some does DH actually says to me "Good consciousness" cause I've been out to it for so long. What can I say? I LOVE my sleep. I know it will all change when I have my little one but that's why I'm doing this now..well that sounds good anyway.
Deni- Oh the sunsets in Perth- how beautiful. Darwin is another amazing place to watch the sunset. Here on the east coast we just have to make do with the sun rises. But if you listen to the cheeky Lulu, you will work out that I tend to sleep late when I'm not away for work, so I do miss sunrises!! But one of my FAVOURITE things about flying though is watching the sun rise from the aircraft. It's so beautiful.. My first date with DH was fish and chips!!
So to all my patient TWWers, my Dh is out for the afternoon, so it looks like I'll just keep annoying you all...SORRY!

Mixed news again, I guess. My levels are up but not up as much as they would have liked. That's good because at least they're not down, but they're saying it's too close to call and yep, you guessed it, another blood test next Thursday. If the levels are high enough then they will do a scan.
As DH took the call I didn't get all the details, but that's the general gist of it.
Just as well you guys are so cheery and nice cos I'm gonna be stuck here for another week, unless there's some 4ww thread I get kicked into now? LOL
Yes universe, I get it! The patience lesson, again.

Oh Tish you poor thing. I hope you are having a good rest this arvo. We'll keep you company til Thursday. I'm so very happy for you though that you didn't receive bad news. That's the main thing at this stage. Stay strong. Sounds like your DH is a great, supportive person for you. Let us know if we can do ANYTHING for you. Rest well and look after yourself. AND we'd make sure you weren't kicked to another thread if there was one. You're here with us on this journey.
