Aleenta, I am so sorry hunny, was hoping this was the one for you. And I know how had it is to take time off, especially because of work, but sometimes a break is good. I hope it helps get you in the best possible frame of mind for your next cycle. I hope your BFP is just around the corner.
JBM, how are you, sending you the best of luck for your TWW, I hope this is the one. Hugs.
Azzrenae, GL for your TWW.
Possums, so great to hear from you, best of luck for your natural TWW, thinking of you.
Loops, Buggirl, Tania, Kitty, Busy, and anyone else I have missed, GL to you all and best wishes for a speedy TWW with a BFP at the end.
-
Hi Buggirl I really really hope it is a postive, I did a HPT too early and it showed up negitive and tried a day later and there was a very faint line I got a possitive from my BT test and now have a beautiful 17 month old daughter. When did you say you BT is?:2ww::crossfingers:
Hope everything goes well for you Possum let hope a BFP is around the corner for you and DH.:stickyvibesgirl::stickyvibesboy:
Sorry about your news Aleenta GL for your work ventures and hopefully that will take your mind off it for a while hope you will back here in another 1-2 months
-
Thanks ladies. I POAS today...negative. I think I am a bit too early perhaps. But I am not getting that feeling that I am pregnant this time round.
good luck everyone- hang in there during the agonising TWW!
-
Morning all,
Hope you all had a lovely weekend (and the Monday if you were in a State with a day off!) Any news?
Well today is 10dp5dt (15dpo) and I'm getting antsy. I am still having cramping (which has been non stop since transfer) and yesterday and today my lower back was sore so am convinced its af :( I was out and about the whole day on Sunday enjoying WOMAD so was sitting on the ground a lot (and I have a small bulge in a disc in my lower back so hoping that its the reason for my backache).
I did a POAS on sat night and it came up positive (within 3-5 min very faint but definitely there) - got excited but FMU on Sun was negative with same brand from the same box, wth? I'm hoping the -ve was because I was so thirsty though on Sat night I drank heaps of water and peed about 4 times during the night, but have been too scared to test since.
BT tommorrow, think I'll have the day off work.
-
Good afternoon girls,
Hope you had an enjoyable weekend.
Aleenta - so sorry to hear your news. Some time off sounds good. I think we all end up thinking about TTC and nothing else. Its very hard. Take time to relax, go o/s and regroup. See you back here soon.
Buggirl - that doesnt make sense with the poas. Hope its not right. Ive only done it once and it did my head in. Am thinking of doing one tonight myself  Good luck for tomorrow and a day off work sounds good.
:hello: and lots of :stickyvibesgirl: to Possums, B2B, busy, JBM, kitty and anyone else I have missed.
AFM, nothing much to report. Im not feeling very confident as I dont have ANY symptoms at all. I thought I would at least have sore bbs or something. I am feeling really anxious and was getting emotional on the phone to my DP earlier talking about Friday. I dont know how I am going to cope on the day. Im still yet to ask my boss if I can leave early on Friday either. Does anyone know of others who have had no symptoms at all and went on to have a BFP???? I really hope so.
Cheers,
Tania
-
Miss Magpie - I had no symptoms at all. My boobs hurt all the way thru stim then stopped hurting at transfer, no morning sickness, no tiredness. All I had was cramping on the 2 days before BT - I had no idea if it was AF, first 'natural' period since starting IVF, pregnancy cramping or what. I was convinced that I was getting a period - so much so that after my BT when DH took me to breakfast I got up to go to the bathroom to check 3 times. I did get some pretty serious constipation a week or so after I got my BFP. I now only have 60 days left to wait until my little baby will be born. Don't give up yet....
-
To POAS or not............that is the question! I'm CD29, 13 days post IUI..........i've had sore bb's for the past week, just started AF pains today but only mild....nothing major. BT is on Friday 13 March!!!! Yuk!!! Anyone else on this day???
-
Nixon - thank you VERY much for that info :D Ive had some cramp like pains in my tummy but not much and thats it. I'll try and stay positive now that I know all is not lost :D
Baby2bee - my BT is on the 13th :D Ive heard that Friday the 13th its a GOOD omen :crossfingers: for us both! Im going to do a POAS tonight. Im 10 days past ET. I know I shouldnt but I am going CRAZY here!!!!!! GL
-
good luck girls. some people have lots of symptoms, some have none for nearly their whole pregnancy. everyone is very different, so dont give up hope.
remember POAS can do your headin a bit...but I am the same and usually do them! good luck
-
ok Miss Magpie.....I'll POAS tonight as well!!
-
damn....think AF is not far off.....this arvo i've been having some sharp pains (very low almost in the never never region)! it's hard to stay positive now.
-
Poppin in to spread some :bluedust: Good luck girls
-
Hang in there B2B. I hope its just the embie doing its thing! When is your AF due?
My AF isnt due until Saturday so unless it comes before my BT at 7.45am Friday morning, Im not going to know. The last time I got AF before my BT.
-
that's the annoying thing.......i don't know when AF is due anymore since taking the drugs. For the past 2 IUI's i've had AF arrive a day after my BT.....so if that was the case, AF would be due on Saturday. Before I started treatment my cycle was always 28 or 29 days.......since treatment commenced they have stretched to a 33 to 35 day cycle!
-
best of luck to all the lay-dees in here :goodluck:
a special shout out to possums - you know the natural cycle can work for you, so fingers crossed for you :crossfingers:
Tania - I can reiterate Nixon's comments. In the month I got my bfp, I was so utterly convinced I had AF (incl pre-AF spotting) I had a glass of wine the night before I poas'd. It ain't over till its over.
Good luck everyone!
Love Mels xx
-
so i've done the naughty thing and POAS. it was a very very faint +ve. however on my last two IUI cycles i did the same test at the same time and they all showed a positive result.....which have all ended in a negative BT. I am not confident at all anymore. I'm sure my BT on Friday will confirm what I already know deep down. I'm ok with it........
-
B2B i am holding so much hope for you. Maybe go read a book or watch a movie, sometimes being surrounded with everything TTC makes it all the much more confusing, I know its not what you always expect to hear, but i hope you understand how i am trying to say this.
After my last cycle (number 12) of IVF failed i have started to re look at how i see my cycles. I have for the last several tried to 'carry on' as normal, but how can you? Just wanting you to know that i wish you the very best for BT.
-
Loula you're great thanks! what I should be doing is getting dinner ready insteady of lurking through the forums.....i just love them though!! thanks for your wishes!
-
The urge to POAS!!! Infects us all! I just did it again and another faint positive, mmmm well tommorrow will know for sure.
-
Good luck girls, fingers crossed on those faint lines!
I still haven't had any pg symptoms and I certainly didn't know or believe I was pg (still not sure I do, but at least I was at the 4 week mark). I had the Pamela Anderson syndrome for a few days before the test but by the day of the test, they had gone down and I was convinced it was just the drugs.
Hang in there and I hope we're all in the pg thread together soon. I haven't made myself at home there yet as I'm kind of in limbo. It's 5 weeks and 2 days today. I havent had any bleeding, but I haven't felt pregnant. I have blood tests again today to find out if my levels are still increasing so I may be feeling a bit more optimistic by tomorrow (I hope).
Take care and I will check in on your progress and let you know how I go. still not sure if it's one or two!
-
Murph good luck today! I can't believe how calm you are! All the best
-
Good morning girls,
Well I did a poas both last night and this morning and both showed TWO LINES!!!!!!!!! It feels like a DREAM :D Ive done tests in the past and have never had two lines so it was so exciting! I have the tests lined up on my bathroom sick.
My DP and I are trying to keep a lid on it all until we get 100% confirmation from the blood test on Friday. It cant come quick enough now.
B2B - try and stay positive. I know its hard but a faint line is a good sign. Hang in there.
-
ooooo ripper Miss M! Very exciting! I'm going to POAS again today......i had my last Pregnyl injection on Monday so it was VERY NAUGHTY of me to do the test yesterday. When was your last booster (if you had any).........Fingers crossed on your BT!!
-
Miss Magpie- very exciting!!!!!! fingers crossed
to the others..hang in there...I hope success is just around the corner
afm- POAS again and still negative. Not exactly sure when AF is due (as this is first cycle after the curette), but I am expecting her any day now
-
keep your chin up Possums. When is your BT?
-
Possums- Hang in there and I hope the test is wrong and AF isnt on her way :crossfingers:
B2B - Thanks, Im just a BIT excited! Im on crinone so have to use it all the way up to my BT. Im not sure if that affects the reading of the poas or not. I dont know what pregnyl is as Ive only used crinone. Hope the line is stronger today when you re-test. GL :D
-
I'm going nuts
Good luck to all! Possums and B2B hang in there it aint over till its over!
And Murph its great to hear things are going well.
AFM Still confused by my POAS results still very faint pos last night and this morning both within the allotted time frame (but so faint could hardly believe them) and now have the begginnings of a terrible head cold! Had bt this morning now waiting for the call.
I have had symptoms galore - and I am on a completely natural cycle no meds whatsoever, but as per usual they are exactly the same as if AF is coming! I've made it to 11dp5dt/16dpo, (and I am a very regular girl at 14 day luteal phase) so am thinking maybe? But then maybe not? ARRRRGGGH !! :wall:
-
Buggirl - here's hoping!!
good luck everyone else
-
Hi Buggirl! I just took another test and it was still a very faint line..........the waiting game continues. All the very very best for your BT.....everything is crossed for the phone call!
-
to all those in TWW including me " IGNORE ALL SYMTOMS!!!!!" is all i can say, they drive us crazy. well me anyway.
i had my FET on friday the 6th of march and i am using pregnyl so won't be able to test, i think this makes me less crazy because you can't test early as you get a false positive. maybe the earliest i can test is next tue the 17th and thats only 3 days before i can do my blood test.
feeling relaxed, bit sick from boat sickness while we were away camping, but a day off at home today should do me good.btw, i am in bed if DH asks, lol. feel so crappy.
good luck to all in TWW, chat soon
-
Good luck to all who are waiting for results.. You can feel there are positive vibes in here and I think we are in for some lovely surprises...:pink-babydust::bluedust:
-

Azzrenae - :noaf::noaf::noaf: Hope those symptoms are pg ones :D
Mels - thanks for that info. I was hoping that was the case. Im still nervous though!
JBM - hope your feeling better and your secret is safe with me! I never saw you on here.
Buggirl - any news as yet???? What a bugger about your head cold. I had one last week and it was TERRIBLE. So hard when you cant take anything to ease the symptoms. Hope your feeling better soon.
:hello: to everyone else.
AFM, just at work trying not to think too much about my poas results. Have told 2 girls here, one being a very close friend, I just couldnt help myself! Looking forward to going home so I can relax with my DP.
Take care girls,
Tania
-
MissMagpie,
I am sooooooo happy you got your first two lines...I know the feeling!!! You were just saying how you'd proudly display your test like me for all to see. I told DH and he's all excited for you as well...too funny.
There's so much of a buzz in here at the moment, it's hard to take in a day's worth of excitement. buggirl and baby2bee, I hope those faint lines darken for you.
Possums, don't be too hard on yourself. You've been through more than most of us and we all know you'll get there.
-
Hi all,
Well looks like this rounds a dud for me :( My HCG level was only 7, which the RE says is not negative but they only consider it definite if 40 and above. So no viable pregnancy but currently no AF either. They said I should return for another BT if no AF by Monday. I am now officially 2 days overdue.
Although it hasnt ended up well I certainly have taken the news much better this time (a definite BFN last time) and am feeling philosophical as this is the closest I've come, and feeling slightly buoyed by the fact that I saw faint negatives on a POAS, that means it could happen to me and I'll know the signs for next time. I guess this is a chemical pregnancy?
Thanks for all your suport guys, being as this is my first time where I haven't shared it with anyone apart from DP its been great to chat to you all and hear all your good news and now I can commiserate with those of you with not so great news. I'll keep you posted till the witch arrives.
Hope to be back in the 2ww in the near future and with a good outcome.
BG XX

Sorry to hear the news Buggirl. Yes well i think it's over for me as well.....the positive from the POAS is getting lighter and lighter....oh well......bring on the IVF or 4th round of IUI I say!
-
B2B commiserations, yep bring on the next round!
-
SORRY to hear your news buggirl hoping the AF stays away:noaf: and HCG levels get stronger please keep us posted :wall::grouphug:
B2B I know this is hard to do but stay positive and my fingers and toes are crossed for fridays results :crossfingers::goodluck:
-
Buggirl - so sorry to hear your news. As you said, at least you've come closer this time compared to other times, thats a plus as you know it CAN happen. Take care and hope to see you back here soon.
Baby2bee - I hope the test is wrong and your BT tomorrow brings a positive result. Hang in there and as they say, its not over until its over! My fingers and toes are crossed.
AFM, one more sleep to go :D Did another poas this morning and another positive result. Im  that all is ok. Still no symptoms so its all a bit surreal.
Take care all,
Tania
