LTTTC Two Week Wait - Oct to Nov

I'm only one day into my tww and i'm bored already!!! great!! i'm baking a cake at the moment. Does anyone know if we are allowed to do the ironing after an FET?? It's going to be a loooooonggggg 2 weeks!!!

Someone told me the only thing you can lift in the 2ww is your credit card... ;)

Yes, ironing unfortunately is fine, but use organic/ non-chemical stuff if you are cleaning and absolutely no oven cleaning!!! (as if I ever do this anyway......)

hahahahahaha yes I did warn DH that because it's due to be hot tomorrow, i may be hitting the shops......for the airconditioning of course!!

I don't really know what oven cleaning is either!!!! Thanks LondonMiss

I just wanted to jump in and say that i am loving reading your posts. I dont come in here often enough to keep up with personals though but i do know that a few ladies are due for the BT this week so i cant wait to hear about lots of BFP's.

Afternoon Ladies,

Well.... the verdict is in and it's a confirmed :bfp:! OMG, OMG, OMG :o!!!! I can't believe it! It's all very surreal at the moment and both DH and I are very excited!!

I just couldn't wait and had the BT moved to today as I was going out of my mind! The update from the nurse was that all of my levels were excellent for a 1 day early BT... My progesterone was 87.2 and my Hcg was at 153 :dance: :dance:!

I have another BT scheduled for Tuesday, 10 Oct to check if levels are doubling, however, am allowed to move it to Friday, 6 Oct which I will do cause I can't wait that long!

I would just like to say a huge thank you to you all as I could not have gotten through this without you...... You are truly a bunch of amazing women and I am so thankful to you all for the support you have given :grouphug:!

Sorry for no personals at the moment (I will attempt some tonight) as my mind is going a zillion miles an hour and I just can't think!

Well I POAS this morning and only one strong line appeared and then about 1 hour later AF showed up. :cry: AF has a habit of showing up on time.

I rang the clinic to see if I have to still take crinone and they said yes just in case. Anyway my BT has been brought forward to Wednesday now just to face the inevitable.

I have already requested to start another cycle ASAP so doing the BT on Wednesday and confirming the negative result I should be able get back on the meds later this week for another stim cycle. The nurse has to confirm with FS.

I am a little disappointed but hey I have been facing disappointments for the last 2 years on this TTC journey. This disappointment just cost a lot more :lol:

For the rest of you, I have my fingers and toes crossed for you! I am hoping to see a few BFP this week !! :stickyvibesgirl::pink-babydust: coming your way!

afm - first day shift...not that bad! I'm off for 3 nights away leaving tomorrow morning in our caravan. I've not had any stirrings or twinges or anything. my mood's improved but nipples not sensitive any more.

We decided to do a poas test on the morning of the bt, cos everything about this is so impersonal, and we wanted 'a moment' . Anyway...now considering doing one tomorrow. hmmmm time to consider and talk to DH.

Coral - congratulations!!! Such exciting news for you and DH. Hope you're enjoying every minute of the surrealness :)

Sorry for the lack of personals- I've been popping in now and then to check on how everyone is but have been felling pretty blah and haven't wanted to bring you all down.

Coral- that is wonderful, my love! Well done to you. After reading your efforts with the HPTs I was quietly confident for you. I'm so pleased.

Meanwhile...

Melttc- I'm feeling for you Honey. You sound pretty together in your post-I hope you're feeling ok about it. Fingers crossed for the next cycle. :hug:

Terry- Nice work on the new job! You're right- that basically guarantees a pregnancy soon, doesn't it??

AFM- Well, to use Simpsons phraseology I'm feeling craptacular. After feeling pretty good throughout the treatment and the first week of the TWW I have come down with a thud.
It's nothing specific and I certainly don't have any confirmation of failure yet but just don't have a good feeling. The first few days after ET I had some very mild cramping and stitch-like feelings as well as a definite poking sensation that I convinced myself was implantation. That all subsided for a few days and I felt nothing but a distinct heaviness in that area which was encouraging. Since Friday however, I've had much stronger cramping which is very much like period pain and I've become less and less confident as the days pass. I usually have a 27-28 day cycle and today is day 27 so I'm pretty much expecting AF to appear at any moment.

My clinic does things a little differently and have given me a highly sensitive HPT to do on Thursday and then I'm tentatively scheduled for a BT on Friday. I'm tempted to POAS but I did my last injection of Pregnyl on Wednesday so I'm concerned that will still be in my system.

Sorry to be a downer, girls. This TWW business sure does suck!! Hopefully I'll snap out of this soon. While AF stays away, there's still hope, right??

Coral- OMG! I just realised you had two embies transferred, didn't you? So this could be two little darlings, you clever girl!!

Well remembered Meg - how exciting! That might explain the high HCG too!!! Oh Coral you might have two lovely little babies :lol:
