Well its been a warm day in my area, so glad it's starting to cool down now

Londonmiss great news for you! Pleased to hear that you have two lovely follicles. Fingers x'd for you

Murraycod thanks for your wishes, and good luck for your cycle

Mitf i hope your day has improved hun, i know having a restless night can be very unsettling. Sometimes i ask myself the big question: 'do i think this month is the one?' And it's so hard to say yep, absolutely, just in case we're let down again. So i tend to brush it away and tell myself if it's time, then it will happen a bit of a lame response, but it's easier to handle, for me anyway.

Sonialousie how are you coming along sweet? I really hope no more spotting, and it's just good news all round from here on

Terry best wishes for this cycle

Lise thinking of you! How did you go - praying that you've had a beautiful result xx

AFM i've had a bit of a restless day - kept feeling a little like i do when you know what is approaching, but each time i went to the loo, there was nothing, thank god! So just feel like i've been holding my breath all day. Really want to make it to friday, so that its the bt that gives me the result, just so i can hold on to hope for a few more days if that makes sense? DH is away for work for 3 nights now.... he said a classic yesterday, he asked me "what are you doing fri babe?" and i replied "having a blood test" and he goes "oh yeah, i forgot about that" !! Can you believe it? It's all i've been thinking about for two weeks, and he casually forgets about it!!!

Heres some of this to sprinkle over all of us xxx

    Hi ladies,
I hope you all had a great day today, not long and it is yet another weekend. I love the weekend.

Theresep- I had to laugh at your comment about DH, this evening my DH asked me when the blood test was!!! I swear that they just switch off sometimes. Only two more sleeps. Hopefully we will both have some good news.

Londonmiss- I am so glad you had some good news!

Murraycod- Welcome, I hope you get a BFP this month!

Mitf- I totally understand how you feel. I think if I convince myself it will be a negative result it will be easier to cope with. For me though I have a little secret voice saying, ?you don?t really think it will be negative?.
I hope you have a better day tomorrow

Terry- I hope the next week is not too difficult, I am wishing you some very good news this month.

AFM I called the nurse this morning and basically there are three possibilities.

I am not pregnant and AF is trying to fight through the crinone
I am pregnant and I have very low progesterone which is why there is some bleeding.
    It is an implantation bleed.

The nurse suggested I double the crinone so I have one morning and night until Thursday (which is when I run out of it) Then BT on Friday will confirm the rest. It may mean I will need to continue with pressaries.
I have not had any bleeding since I had the second dose of crinone this morning.
I have cramping around the front, lower back pain, some nausea and I can?t stop burping!!!!!! So I am at a bit of a loss. Half of me thinks it is over, the other half is hoping against all odds that it was implantation bleed!

Sonyalouise and Theresep - have fingers, toes and everything else crossed for you both for Friday. I say if AF hasn't actually arrived yet for either of you then you're still in the running. Will Friday brings good results.

Theresep - thanks for your thoughts. I found out today it was a BFP! I did post in the other thread, but my computer was playing up so could only post very briefly using my phone and I didn't post in here.

Hello to everyone else! Hope to see some more BFPs in the next couple of weeks!!

    to all.

    love lise xx

Lise, that is wonderful news!!!! Congratulations, it's a great feeling hey? Your comment on AF not yet arriving for sonialousie and myself gave me a tingle of excitement and lifted my spirits! I hope you're right, as when i think back to my very first stim cycle, my AF arrived 2 days before the bt. I'm saying my prayers tonight, thats for sure !

Sonialouise, great to hear that the bleeding has stopped, lets hope hope hope that we both get our own beautiful BFP's!!

    Sleep well xx

    Good Morning Ladies,

I'll dive right into some personals this morning and if I am naughty and accidently miss anyone than I am sorry in advance and hope you are doing well!

Trubabe - Hello and Good Luck with the IUI... I hope there will be no need for you to continue onto IVF due to getting a BFP!

Terry - Only 1 sleep to go - yay! You must be getting both really excited and apprehensive all at the same time! I hope there is still no sign of AF and sending you some extra for tomorrow's beta!

Paula - Welcome to the 2WW! 2 embies on board is great - yay! Sending you lots and lots of for lucky no. 8 and I hope the 2WW treats you kindly.

Meg - I wish I could say 'yes' to your question as this would give me some kind of reasoning.... Unfortunately though, things are all well in that department, he, he (sorry TMI)!

Sounds like most of us have 'that person' in our life that is great at saying the wrong thing at always the wrong time! I have a work colleague (she is 1 of the only 2 people at work who know I'm doing IVF) and she keeps telling me to stop thinking about it all so much as when I have kids they will consume your life... Arrgghh.... That is what I am hoping for!

I'm glad to hear that everything is moving along nicely for you and I'm 'ing that that luck continues for you right up till the BT and beyond!

I'm with mitf and the word verification thing just stopped one day... yay - cause it was really annoying!

murraycod - Thanks for the support (hugs). The cramps seem to have subsided today, although now I'm paranoid about that too... MMmmm, so where do I check into the mental institution, he, he! And to think, I was determined to ignore all symptoms also.... not doing a very good job am I, he, he!

Wow, you have a really long cycle.. mine is 31 days, but 37 - OMG! Is that your normal cycle length or just something to do with IUI? Glad to hear that there is no sign of AF and the cramping has stopped... sending you lots of !

airline - Still keeping a log and will post below... Not sure if it is a good or a bad thing though as now I am starting to compare notes from failed last cycle and am not feeling so positive bout this one anymore!

I hope DH begins to feel better soon and I agree with the no news is good news theory! Sending you lots of sticky !

melttc - I was thinking that it was along time between your ET and BT. I know with our clinic it is 10dpET for a blastie so I guess that would be 13dpET for a day 2 transfer. Lots of to you also!

LondonMiss - A massage sounds wonderful.... probably just what I need at the moment, he, he! I hope you enjoy! It's amazing to think that you managed to do 250 steps just doing the ironing! coming your way also, he, he!

Tracy - Good news about the job interview... sending you lots of positive get the job vibes (couldn't seem to find the icon for that one, he, he!).

AFM - Well, here is the current update from me below for today so far.....

0dpET - Transfer went well... No symptoms at all to report.
1dpET - Started getting twinges (kinda like a quick stabbing pain) in the one spot to the right above my pubic bone (sorry TMI) and was on and off a couple of times throughout the day.
2dpET - More of the same twinges in the same spot on and off!
3dpET - Uh oh, starting to feel some cramping - no! I started getting cramping 3dpET on both of my last 2 x ET's and they resulted in BFN's. Slight ray of hope though... I can't 100% confirm, but it was like the cramping was occurring just above my pubic bone (sorry TMI again) instead of higher up like AF although sometimes I wasn't so convinced and thought it was like AF.
4dpET - slight cramping again and secretly hoping that it might be implantation cramps although I don't know if it is too early for that!
5dpET (today) - Cramps have subsided noticeably, although I can still feel 'something' going on and I have a constant twinge on the left hand side of my lower back. # Afternoon Update (1:50pm): Cramps have returned, twinges in back getting worse, kinda bloated, little bit nauseous and getting twinges above pubic bone again(sorry TMI!). Have regained a little bit of sanity and thinking it best to just wait it out until the BT on 3 Nov, as until then, I think I will not be able to confirm either way and need to stop doing my head in! Will keep you all updated of course, he, he!

Still not feeling very 'positive' today, as with last ET cramps started on day 3 and 4 post transfer, then subsided, then bad cramps 7dpET.... then a BFN. Of course, I'm still secretly hoping that I'm totally wrong and will be able to look back on my posts and think 'if only you had of known, he, he!'

    Sorry for the epic post!

oh terry - this sounds most promising!

As for personals, I can think of nothing better to say than "hear hear" to everything Coral said!

I've been for a swim and a massage... and fell asleep and probably snored and farted through 20 mins of it! Lucky I know the lady quite well and she's quite forgiving! Tracy - I think they are quite beneficial but only if you are confident of the oil they are using. If they are using just plain oil (almond for example) it's fine. You can even use plain vegetable oil or olive oil if you like (but the latter might smell a bit wierd!!). Just no wierd additives. Following the logic of acupuncture which gets the blood circulating - which is good - I figure massage is too. And manifestly I find it relaxing!!!

    hi Girls,
I think it's time I took a leap and post properly. I haven't been in here properly since my last transfer, 2 cycles ago.

I had transfer yesterday! 5 day blastie, thawed and put back on day 6.
Unfortunately, I was one of those cases where the embryo got stuck in the tube, so theoretically I had to do the procedure twice. When I logged on last night and read your posts about this I pretty much freaked out, so now I'm not feeling very hopeful at all. I am trying really hard to tell myself that if it is a strong embryo then it won't be affected my that hiccup. It's not really working though.

Also, I was booked in for BT on the 10th (13DP ET) so I questioned this and they brought it forward to the 7th (10DP ET). So that's something I guess.

Anyway, no persies for me just yet. Will try a bit later for that.

Hope everyone is getting by ok! for all!!!

    Question Question?

    Morning one and all,

Just a quick one for you. Have any of you ever experienced after ET light aching/cramping type feelings and then they stop?????

Reason I ask is that I am now 3dpt and this morning when I woke up, yeah I feel a little tight across my lower abdomen but the aching pain I was feeling has now gone. You might even say that I'm feeling "normal" so to speak. Does this sound right to you lovely ladies???? I have noticed though yesterday early evening I felt a small bout of nausea and then when I was going to bed the same thing and then this morning had stomach pains (high just under the breast) and felt nauseas again.

I might be jumping the gun but am trying to stay hopeful. Any responses is greatly appreciated.

Hey chicks, how is everyone today?

Sending out a big congratulations to LondonMiss for those great hcg numbers. Here's hoping for a healthy pregnancy. Enjoy your holiday away.

Motherhood, I had a similar feeling to you... aching a few days after ET but then nothing. Who knows what it means. I've given up trying to guess anymore though. hope it means good news for both of us though.

Sorry for no more personals, this is just a really quick post. I'm in the middle of packing up our house to move into the new house that DH and built. And we actually move tomorrow, so have heaps to do. By the way, I highly suggest moving house in the middle of your TWW, since I have absolutely no time to stress about any symptoms, twinges etc. I don't know if it's just because I'm so busy this week, but I seem quite calm about the whole thing. If it works, it works. If not, then so be it and we go onto the next one (remind me I've said this, if come Monday, we get bad news).

About the only thing I've noticed (which I can't say I've noticed any other time), is that my nipples will go hard just like that (sorry TMI). Even when I'm not cold, they'll either do it on their own, or even if I just touch them, they'll go hard. I wouldn't say they're overly sensitive though, just hard. So again, who knows what that means.

I'm 10dpo today, and have another blood test tomorrow to check progesterone levels again. Then I should be having pregnancy blood test on 16th Nov. Fingers crossed!!

Hope everyone else out there in the TWW is travelling along ok. I have my fingers crossed for all of us.

    Wishes xox

    Good Afternoon Ladies,

I just got my 4th Beta in......and I can't believe it but here we go:

    Monday, 2nd was at 153, progesterone 87.6.
Friday, 6th should be at least 612 (I was only 415), progesterone 87.
Monday, 9th should be at least 1245 for 48hr doubling time (I came in at 998 - a doubling time of 3 days), progesterone dropped to 57.1 (started on pesseries due to the drop in progesterone).
Thursday, 12th..... It is at 3218, progesterone 90!!!! OMG ... My numbers have finally doubled and the progesterone has risen again - yay !!

For the first time since my BFP I feel like I can actually breathe! The nurse offered me another BT next week or alternatively, I could just wait for the scan. I opted to just wait for the scan (Monday, 23 November) so that I can just relax and enjoy it instead of worrying about numbers again!

Thank you so much for all of the support you guys have given me..... I have definitely needed it as this has been the hardest week and half of my life!

Whooa!!!That is great news Coral 73....you are on your way!! I am so happy for you...I know how hard it is each time you have those tests and wait for the call. I hope the hcg keeps climbing and the scan shows all okay in there.
