THAT IS FANTASTIC NEWS!!!!!

Congratulations and I hope you have a happy & healthy 9months!!
Good Luck to all those that are still on the 2WW :goodluck:
AFM - Still waiting to gear up for a stim cycle.... on the pill at the moment and will start Lucrin on the 25 Sept (I am so impatient ). Just had my 1st acupuncture session (both me and DH) and we absolutely loved it (DH was so scared and now can't wait to go back next week)! I would recommend it to anyone as it so relaxing :asleep:.They have actually left an acupuncture needle in both of my ears for stress and a bit of insomnia and it is working like a treat .
CORAL - I started doing accupucture but gave it up cause of $$$ - would be interesting to see if you have any sucess with it, I may have to take it up. I know my clinic is an advocate of accupunture and natural therapies.
AFM - MAN! I am so sore today.
I wake up every morning and go to bed everynight with THE MOST awful cramping and back ache its exactly like AF. I have heard that it can "feel" like this when you are pregnant (not counting my chickens) but this isn't like this last transfer, but it could be the pessaries- is anyone else on the combined pessaries?????
I am hoping its not AF trying to push her way through all the meds - my last pregnyl injection is tomorrow. Last time after my BT, AF took nearly 1 week to show up.
Krikkit - I highly recommend acupuncture! The last cycle was the only one I'd done it on!
I've been going to a guy in Vic Park, not sure where you are. After my private health it works out to $35.00 a session. I saw him twice a week around treatment time and once a week otherwise.
Let me know if you want more details.
:crossfingers: for everyone!!!!
A huge big CONGRATULATIONS Sharon. So :happyforyou:
All the very best for a H&H pregnancy. xo
Hi Sharon, Vic Park would have been perfect a few months ago, but we have moved NOR to Ellenbrook.
I was using a place in West Perth, but it was costing me so much and they were not very flexible with the hours (eg 9-4pm) and I am already having a hard enough time with time off for work for IVF. So, all it all it deterred me from trying pursuing it. Maybe I can find somewhere local to me. I might check naturaltherapypages.com.au
hello - could I get the details of the chap in Albert Park please? I think I'll have to try it, in for a penny in for a pound. (or thousands of dollars in this particular instance)
Krikkit - I will keep you posted as to how the acupuncture goes although I hope you won't need to worry about it due to getting a BFP :crossfingers:
One thing my guy said was that due to my stress levels (I so have OCD and worry about everything!) that I didn't have a chance at all in the egg sticking cause stressing was causing all the blood to drain from my uterus... It will be interesting to see if it is enough to make the difference next time round
Also DH is having it for low count, poor motility & morphology (to increase blood flow and reduce stress... from worrying about me! :loveshower: ) and has been given some herbal tablets to take (called City Life) that will apparently jump start his :bluesperm:. Interestingly, he did not think much of Menevit, although everyone tends to have their own opinion of course!
Sharon - It is reassuring to hear acupuncture resulting in a BFP  so hopefully it was the acupuncture that made the difference for you this time and will do the same for me next
Hey Ladies,
Sharon - Fantastic news.:confetti: Keep that good luck flowing for the rest of us and I hope all goes well from here on for you too. be sure to look after yourself there are still some important weeks ahead! It's so nice to read a positive outcome!
Cass - paste from your post:
"The crinone gel/cream is making me "leak" a bit (sorry if ) and the feeling I have is the one I get just before AF starts when I start spotting. Our nurse said that this can be a good sign, but I'm not all that convinced."....
I SOOO know what you are talking about. It is getting worse by the day for me and I just figure it is all the build up - I was told that after a while you would get issues with it coming back out! I got it worse of all today - I was sitting here at work positive that AF came with a vengence, had to get up (check my chair!!) and go to the loo - only to find it is the bloody gel! Mind you, of course I was happy it was that & not the other! I am so over the damn gel! My BT is tomorrow so hopefully they can tell me I can stop?
wouldluvvabub - thanks for the explanation of the timing - tho I still don't get it! I should work out what day my EPU was on and all that - but have BT tomorrow morning so will save that question for the nurse!
AFM - still hanging in there girls! Have been very busy at work so that really has kept my mind quiet today, can't believe I find out tomorrow. I still am gearing up for a negative and will be surprised if it is not. But feeling OK about being that way as then at least I am half prepared when I get the bad news and hopefully it won't be as bad. :crossfingers: I am completely wrong and then I can feel elated but still anxious to get though a few weeks after that!
Hi to everyone else - sorry its a short one - finally getting to leave work! :leap:
Congratulations Sharon :happyforyou:! Wishing you all the very best in your pg !
GL to everyone else testing soon & sticky vibes to all !!!
Beata x
ugh this is awful....I am tired as anything. I am up 2-3 times a night to pee, my bbs hurt like mad, my mood swings are so bad, I dont want to live with me. I have gone from feeling very positive to feeling very positive that I am NOT going to get a BFP.
Its driving me crazy...... 5 more days to go.
Hi Girls
Hi Tracey - what LP support are you on ?
Krickett - My dh had to fend for himself last night as well - I am in Crank Mode -
Sharon - Congratulations on your bfp, wishing you all the best
Nix - Best of luck for tommorow's BT
Hi to everyone
AFM: I had my 5dpt P4 Blood Test today, because in previous cycles AF always arrives before BT, so we upped the anty on the LP supprt, and I asked for a Progesterone Test to see if my body was absorbing the crinone twice daily along with the 3 Pregnyl shots - day 3 - 6 & 9 . The nurse just rang to say it's 216 so that's good. I have heaps of progesterone floating around, now I just need to hear the same majic numbers this very day next week  7 more sleeps to go
Wouldloveabubba-Im on the crinone gel, only once a day tho, GL with your next week
Hey Girls,
No good news from me I'm afraid. It was a negative as I kind of thought it would be. Completely negative, nothing on the radar - never implanted  Was hard to take the news at work, nurse said she would know at 1.30pm and I asked her not to call til 3.30pm when she was ready to finish for the day. I still had so much to do from that point that I just went back to work, feeling numb, head still racing but didn't feel it enough to even cry.
She said that I have the choice of either waiting a month or going straight back into a natural FET cycle, but advised that I need to be aware that coming off a stim cycle your body can be a bit mucked up and we won't really know my cycle so well and know when I'm ovulating again. So what I gather is the only affect of that is that it will mean more BT's and US to find the exact time that I am ovulating so we then do an FET??
I said I was sure that we would go straight back as I don't want to have to wait any longer but said I would sleep on it and chat to DP.
Feeling sad, but not surprised, dissapointed and wish I knew WHY! But nurse said there is no particular reason - she said there is still a lot of luck involved and that it didn't mean it wasn't going to happen. She did say a negative on the first cycle is one of the hardest to take! I hope so - I don't want to feel like this again.
Anyway - good luck to the rest of you and thanks for your support. I hope I haven't broken the good vibes from Sharon's positive. Tracey - hang in there, hope all your feelings are for a good reason - and good luck for BT on Monday.
wouldluvvabub - good luck to you too.
I'll still be lurking around and look forward to seeing some more BFP's girls!! It give's me some hope and it's so nice to see!
Oh Nix76, so sorry to hear it wasn't your time this month.
The negative phonecall absolutely sucks! Hang in there, try have a relaxing night tonight with dh and re-focus for the morning. I found a big cry in a nice hot shower always helps. :comfort:
Well, I've had 3 vodka's now and we are about to get in our spa. We just filled it up last weekend after winter! Have had a few tears already and I'm just lucky I have a fantastic man by my side who has cooked dinner and is looking after me & trying to keep me positive.
Nix - So sorry hun. Big hugs to you  I know it is so hard to hear a negative result (whether it's your first cycle or not). Maybe think about a taking a break though. It could do your body good. Thinking of you.
Wishes xoxo
I posted in the other post, but want to offer you some ((hugs)) Im so sorry hun, I was so hopeful for you
Nix76 - So sorry to hear your news and big hugs to you . It does hurt getting that call and it usually takes me almost a week before I am completely back to my bright self again and feeling positive about our next go :D. Don't b too hard on yourself and have a good cry to get it out if your system (always made me feel better!) :crossfingers: for you for next time.
Nix ; Im sorry hun, It never get's any easier, we just learn to gain strategies that help us cope, and keep going. You have lots of postives and your caring DH will help you get through. Thinking of you
- Nix - sorry about your news.
Nix ~ once again so sorry hun
AFM ~ pretty sure Monday or even Sunday i'll be out of TWW with a BFN on my natural cycle. I have bad headaches which is usually a very big sign AF is on her way in a few days and she usually comes on a Sunday or Monday too.
Had FS appointment yestie and look like we will be hopefully doing 2nd round of IVF in December. Could have done Nov if I wanted to go to the city but I prefer my country Vic clinic and the nurses there are really great.
Also heard from my FS, that the Medicare safety net being capped or whatever will no longer be an issue and in fact we may be less out of pocket next year.
Here's hoping we all wont have to worry though - that we will get our BFP's before next year!!!
Hello ladies,
I had my BT today and FS rang just after lunch to tell me it's a.......
:bfp: :leap: :jawdrop:
I still can't believe it. Don't think it will really sink in for a little while yet.
One other good thing is I can stop using the crinone gel
I will pop back in over the weekend to do some persies. I am still at work and trying to concentrate on what I need to get done before I leave this arvo.
:bluedust: :stickyvibesgirl: to you all.
Cass ~ that is fantastic news - a big huge CONGRATULATIONS! So :happyforyou:
All the best for a H&H pregnancy. :bluecheer::cheer:
Cass - Congratulations hon :leap: What a fantastic way to end the week!
Wishing you a happy and healthy pregnancy.
:bluecheer::cheer:.
:happyforyou:
CONGRATULATIONS CAS!!!!
all the best with the pregnancy - :confetti:
:happyforyou: CONGRATULATIONS!!! :happyforyou:
That's fantastic news!!!!
massive congrats Cass
Tracy: Thanks. Hope the rest of your TWW flies by and ends positively.
Sharon: Thanks. How are you feeling?
Krikkit: Thanks. GL for your BT on Monday :goodluck:
mitf: Thanks. Hope your break is helping you relax a little.
Loops: Thanks. :crossfingers: AF doesn't show up. Otherwise GL with your IVF cycles towards the end of the year.
Nix: Again, sorry to hear about your BFN.
WLAB: GL with your BT on Thursday :goodluck:
AFM: Thank you all for your wonderful support. Still a little hard to believe I'm UTD. Probably won't sink in until we have the US in 3 weeks. Our nurse rang last night while I was in the shower, so I'll have to ring her on Monday with the millions of questions I have. I don't know where I would be without her support.
Well, I'm off to start making the phone calls to siblings/parents. Wishing me (& my hearing) luck. We decided last night to have a quiet celebration (DH with his bourbon/coke and me with a lemonade) to our selves before sharing the news.
:bluedust: :stickyvibesgirl: to you all.
well I did poas this morning and got a BFN ugh!! I should know better huh? Its 11dp epu which would be the equivilent to 11dpo right?
Will have to wait for BT on tuesday so long as AF doesnt rear her ugly head before then, not feeling overly positive atm tho
CasI80 - I'm alternating between feeling great, feeling like I need to vomit, and feeling like af is coming! :wall: I think I'll believe it a bit more and be happier when I've had my next 3 weeks of blood tests and make sure my levels are going up. How are you feeling? Any symptoms?
Tracy - hang in there and DON'T POAS!!!! I know it's hard but please try resist so you don't send yourself insane!!! There's only 3 sleeps till your bt!!! :crossfingers:
That's it from me for now, going to try get some house cleaning done this am.
Tracy - I so know where you are coming from, I wanna POAS so bad! I even asked hubby if I could POAS on Monday morning - he said no.
Sharon & Cass - again congrats. I hope you both have a H & H pregnancy!
AFM - lots of cramping and back pain - sorta like AF, stomach is still playing up too. I have never wanted a Monday to get here so quickly - hurry up BT!
im just popping in to wish wouldloveabubba the absolute best of luck with her upcoming BT, I have a good feeling for you!!!
best of luck everyone else! i remember being in here not long ago!
I accidentally POAS twice. :redface::rolleyes:
ok, so not so much of an accident. I dunno how accurate they are but both were bpf - I have one more - which I am gonna use tomorrow morning before my BT. My last pregynl was Thursday morning.
Last cycle I POAS - i got bfp and bfn - and the lines were very faint. This time they are dark as ever. :crossfingers: they are telling the truth.
Krikkit! Keeping my fingers crossed for you but that sounds so promising! Woooohoooo...BFP coming your way?!?!?!?!?!?
Hi all,
I'm joining the TWW late this time (after scoring a BFN on my last TWW in August). I thought I was going ok, but I'm obsessing like you wouldn't believe (or maybe you would) and I could really do with the support. I'm 10dpiui, and am dissecting every cramp, pull, and sensation (much to my DH's dismay - I mean how many times can I ask "Do you think it was implantation cramping??" before it gets annoying?! Really!)
Sorry for no personals, I am being unashamedly selfish, which will pass - I promise!
