Bubwishes... that is good news that things have settle a bit. You big poo story made me chuckle.... it is amazing the things we can tell perfect strangers when we are all going through the same thing!!
Well, i have just had a call from my nurse to say that my HCG level is 12 (25 is the normal level for positive definitive anything below 5 is definately not PG). So I am not not pregnant but not definately positive. I have (touch wood) not had any more spotting today, just some cramping on and off so the nurse told me to hold tight until Friday..... She explained that today is way too early to really tell but I just need to keep them updated if there is any more bleeding.
My god..... up to the back of the top of the roller coaster I go and hoping the little mite holds on
Thank you to everyone for their good wishes you really are a lovely bunch
-
Hi Milly, fingers crossed for you and you get your HCG rise. Stay positive. Hugs x
-
Thanks BD. Goodluck for your egg transfer tomorrow.
-
Milly- I have been in your situation before...it's like WHEN WILL THIS TWW END!!!!! I hope you have a happy ending on Fri. This just happened to a girlfriend of mine, and she is now definately pregnant. Stay strong.
Hugs Bel
-
Thanks Bel. It is good to hear some positives, I honestly feel like I have emotionally been through ten rounds with Mike Tyson today. It is hard because the nurse cannot be too reassuring at this stage as they do not want to give false hope which I completely understand
-
-
MillieMoo - good luck - I hope you get a definitive BFP
-
Good Luck Milliemoo
At least there is some HCG in your system, so fingers crossed it keeps getting bigger & bigger.
AFM: I feel totally "Crap" today.... Felt really sick on the train into work this morning and still have a bit of a queasy tummy. My DH (we get the train together) thinks it is because the train was hot this morning, but I'm hoping otherwise.. Oh, my gums also bled the first time this morning when I was brushing my teeth, same toothbrush, nothing different to every normal day. Come on Monday, hurry up... I feel sooo much more yucky this TWW than the last, good...bad... I just want to know.
-
Good luck milliemoo...fingers crossed for you
and all the best to everyone else in here...hope you are surviving the TWW and that good news is just around the corner.
Bel- hope transfer went well :D sending you the best xx
-
Hello all,
Just wanted to pop in and say Hi to you all and see how you are all going in the TWW.
I am hoping and praying for lots of BFP's for you all. :goodluck:
-
quick question, when are you due to get your period in the tww? is it when u had them last or egg collection?
-
From memory my period was due 14 days after my egg collection. My blood test was scheduled for Day 16...in our failed cycle, my period arrived on Day 14 ....and this time, with our lovely BFP, thankfully, no AF!...I hope that's the case for you :D
-
Hello All
Just wanted to say a quick hello and wish everyone the best of luck
-
Bel and Neptune... how did you go today?
-
hi girls good luck!
my 2WW is almost over! im on day 28 and havent got AF yet, ive never been late except once and it was only one day so will wait a week to test if she doesnt come. i have bad lower back pain but not one spot of blood! im hoping its not just stress. i tested sat arvo and sunday morning both negative but hoping maybe it was too soon as with my miscarriage pregnancy i only got a faint line on day of missed period sooo should have some news tomorrow!
i think i must have been to the toilet about 50 times to check today, im so paranoid!
i hope all is well
-
KellyD - Sounds promising.. My fingers are crossed for you for the 20th..
To everyone else in theTWW I wish you all the best..

Hi girls
Just a quick post from me, as my head is a bit screwed up. My BT resulted in a BFN. I'm ok now but have had a bad day.
Very disappointed, but have one frostie to try so will give it a while and try that.
Love to all, hang in there, we will get there!
-
Neptune - so sorry to hear about your BFN. DH and I were so upset when we got our first BFN, it was just such a horrible feeling. Sending you lots of good thoughts.
Take care,
LNB
-
Neptune - so sorry about the BFN - I'm happy for you that you have a frostie.
-
Hi Ladies,
I thought I'd join you in here as I'm officially in my TWW after my first IVF stim cycle with one fresh blastie transferred yesterday. We and our FS were suprised by my lack of eggs - ended up with only 5 eggs (4 mature, 3 fertilised, now 1 on board and MAYBE one in the freezer and one being disposed of) as I had 10 great follicles on EPU day. So we are faced with either this cycle working OR having to probably wait another 3 months and go straight into stim cycle again - hopefully getting more eggies this time!
Anyway, i'll be passing the two weeks with you until my POAS test on 30th Ocotber! Yay!
Best of luck to you all!
-
Hi Ruth
Did you ask your FS why they didn't transfer that 2nd embryo as if it's so-so it has a better chance of making it as a fresh transfer than going through the freeze/thaw?
Also, why would you have to wait 3 months if this cycle doesn't work (I'm not an expert on the different types of cycles but 3 months sounds like a long wait). Of course, maybe you'll get great news and you won't need to worry about a 2nd cycle!
-
Neptune - So Sorry to hear your news. I was so sure you were going to be there this time round. Please take care of yourself and stay strong.
-
Thank you lovely ladies for your kind thoughts, very important form the people that understand the best!!!
I am ok today, a bit fragile, but getting on with things and starting to think about the next step.
good luck!!!! fingers crossed for those of you waiting.
-
Neptune,
I am sorry to hear of your bfn. Go easy on yourself & take some time out if you can. You sound like you have the right attitude, focusing on the next step, which is great.
Am thinking of you, take care.
-
Neptune- Am so very sorry. I know your pain. Be good to your heart and stay strong. Big hugs.
Ruth- YAY...we made it!! Congrats to you..
AFM- 2 beautiful embies transferred yesterday at blastie and amazingly another 5 frozen. I feel very blessed with our results. I just know this is our cycle.
Hope everyone is going well. Hope I don't drive you all crazy here!!
BT for me on Mon 27th..11 sleeps to go!!
Hugs Bel

Hi Ladies,
Firstly a delated thank you for your best wishes, will take them all on board and get set for a healthy pregnancy. I've had computer problems but have found a temp work around, couldn't wait to log back on to see how you were all faring.
Neptune, I am so sorry to hear that your result was BFN, must be tough even if you didn't believe the POAS result. FET's are much easier on the body than a stim cycle so wishing you the BFP you deserve next cycle.
MillyMoo, must be touch for you. I had heavy bleeding when I was 10wks preg with my DD and it was so stressful. Luckily turned out to be nothing other than hormonal bleeding but the wait to find out was tough. Hope you're doing ok.
Brooke, sorry if I missed someone elses reply to your questions and doubled up - cramping like AF is arriving was very much a part of my previous pregnancy and I did feel heaviness a couple of days before my BT to the point that I told my DH that AF was about to arrive. I remember with my DD feeling really ripped off about the whole crampiness feeling which lasted for about 10wks as I thought one of the extra bonuses was that no AF would arrive but instead I felt like she was constantly around - still, I won't complain!
AF will arrive at the end of your 2WW. In theory (but don't quote me on it as I'm sure I'm using the wrong words) the arrival of AF signals the start of a new cycle therefore a new egg which will be released when you ovulate, the 2WW starts when you ovulate (or a couple of days after depending on how many days old your embryo is).
At the end of the TWW (for most) you are either pregnant - and no AF or AF arrives to kick off the start of a new cycle. When you get your BFN you will approx 4 weeks pregnant 2 weeks after you ovulated/embryo transferred because pregnancy is considered to have started with the new cycle/egg. I hope that makes sense and is somewhat correct - pls anyone feel free to correct if I've got it wrong.
Best Wishes to all as your TWW continues

Hi Everyone -
I am joining the TWW after having a FET of 2 beautiful embies on Tuesday morning.
Ruth - I too had a low embie count from a high number of eggs. My FS just kept telling me that it only takes one to make a baby. Hoping that this is the one for you.
Bel - great to hear your ET went well and you've got snowbubs as well, although fingers crossed you won't need them.
Brooke - I am not sure when AF comes in the TWW, in my first cycle AF arrived 3 days before my BT and was about day 11 after EPU. I have a short luteal phase (sp?) so it was unusal for AF to arrive before the BT and while I was still on Crinone, which I was happy to stop using.
I haven't had a chance to catch up on all of the threads so good thoughts and sticky sticky vibes to eveyone.
AFM - Day 3 of the TWW and I feel fine. A FET is much easier than the stim cycle, I feel completely normal, well as normal as someone who is paranoid about every feeling and whether or not is implantation. At least time it is just my own parania and not amplified by hormone drugs!
Sticky vibes to everyone,
Take care,
LNB

Neptune - i am so sorry to hear your news. Take it easy and do't be hard on yourself, I know how hard it is I have been there a couple of times. The Frostie may still be the one, it was for my friend.
Bel / Ruth - welcome to the TWW. Congratulations I am so please for you both -Ruth it only takes one! I have my fingers toes and embies crossed for you both.
AFM - day of reckoning tomorrow......... OMG.

Hi Ladies,
Well I had My BT this morning and it was BFN. I feel okay.
Its weird 2days ago I felt pregnant so I thought I would do a HPT and it was negative so I thought I would wait till today and well wasn't meant to be. I guess I was expecting it.
I have no more frosties left so I have to start from scratch again, looking forward to jubbing myself again (NOT). This will be my last go as I don't think my body can handle going through the big ENDO as I have had it for way to long.
Please keep thinking happy thoughts don't let this bring you down, I have my beautiful princess nothing will ever bring me down when she is in my life.:heartbeat:
Good luck to you all for the up coming BT:grouphug:
Sorry to hear your news Neptune:comfort:
-
Azzrenae - I am really sorry to hear your news.
Well my end we are still up in the air although not looking too hopeful I got a positive but unfortunately it was 29 and they really wanted to see closer to 100. I have to go back on Tuesday to see if by some miracle it has risen. The FS said that effectively this was not looking too good and that it is likely that this one is no go.
I feel a little numb, especially as I felt so sure we could be there this time. My cramping and spotting had stopped etc. Oh well now I have to wait and see but not too hopeful.
-
oh azzrenea and millymoo8 - thinking of u both ,,,
-
New thread time all. Here it is...
Best wishes to those still in their TWW and big hugs to those that didn't get their BFP this month .
