On my second round of clomid this month. Got my 21 day progesterone level results today and my fs told me that results came in at 100 (as opposed to 50 on a natural cycle). Just wondering if anyone remembers what their levels were when they got a bfp?
I only ever got one vaguely high CD 21 BTon 100mg of clomid, and it was 89, and my doc said that it was getting "into the PG range" so whilst I'm sorry I can't be more help, I hope that your 100 results in a BFP!!!
NewJob that's a great result.
It's important to know that pregnancy cannot predicted by progesterone being high - it does indicate it could happen but isn't definitive.
You will get a high progesterone if you ovulated from mulitiple follicles.
The cycle I conceived this baby my cd21BT was 97. However other women have had that and nnot been pregnant.
It's a great sign and if you are not pregnant it is showing tht the clomid is doing all the right things. I sooo hope that this is your month...
Thanks Flowerchild - it is great to get that perspective. I am CD 25 today and used a OPK (as an early test) this morning but the second line was only very faint. So I am guessing it was just that I produced more than one folicle. Like you said at least I know the clomid is working - my fs said I am ovulating like a champion. Wishing you all the very best for the remainder of your pregnancy!
On everyone of my 6 clomid cycles my prog has been between 111 and 138 and i have not been pregnant anyone of those cycles. I had a lap in june, and done another 2 rounds without prog testing, but neither have been succesful.
I too, was all excited about the high prog, but it is def important to remember that it doesn't guaraantee pregnancy
