Hi everyone,
Something's bugging me as I've read another forum and really need to hear BB girls info on this.
I've been with MIVF and now with Monash.Just completed a long down reg cycle. Since just getting my BFN result yesterday and thinking I was feeling alright i've had a bit of a melt down! Probably as I can feel AF coming. Anyway I've heard that Monash will push towards doing 'Down Regs' on the pill due to simply scheduling in epu times etc. Is this true??. I don't want to do another pill long down reg if it's just for this reason - that's a waste of precious time, days etc at my age. I understand the down regging your hormones etc however I had exactly the same results in egg numbers & fertilisation rates as all the shorter 'flare' cycles I'd done.
If thats the case I will go back to MIVF. With MIVF you could discuss with your FS what cycle could be done from 'flare' to 'antagonist' etc.
Anyone in Monash know what's the deal. If I wait till Jan for my appointment only to be told its another down reg purley due to because they are busy and need to schedule epu's I will be soo upset...after 5 failed cycles and turning 41 next year, I don't have time.![]()
and it will be too late to make an appointment with the other clinic to get an appointment. Another month missed..
Anyone know to ease my mind..Thanks heaps x
