I have found a wonderful naturopath, after 2 disappointing attempts so be persistent in getting someone you like and trust.
She has looked at my history - of overall health and what we have learned and experienced in our AC attempts. She checked my eyes (iridology) to see if her estimates were reflected there before treatment. She also suggested some bt's to rule out things like iron deficiencies etc as Dr's say things are within normal limits but they could be on the very low side of normal which can be an issue.
Her perspective is balance, being able to restore my body to good health, and undo some of the damage that unnatural levels of hormones can do. I am on some basic vitamins and a tonic for the hormones/reproductive system. And while I am not sure it will mean I can get pregnant, at least I feel like my body is at its best to give me a better chance to sustain a pregnancy.

I went to a naturopath when ttc DS but she was so gung ho that I didnt ever return to her. I have no doubt that by following her diet my body would have been healthier for conceptiona dn pregnancy but there was no way I could follow such a strict diet like that.

We are going to start ttc at the end of the year and I have PCOS. I am working on losing weight atm to help PCOS, but i also plan on starting weekly accupuncture in a few months time, I have heard great things about accupuncture helping with balancing hormones and helping with conception, so I am gonna give it a go.

I have a friend who is a naturopath and another girl @ MG saw a naturopath to help her fall pregnant with her DD.. she said they were wonderful and it made all the difference to her.
Everyone is different obviously but i think it's definitely worth investigating.

Where about are you, i am in Melb.. i can ask my friend if she has any suggestions for great people to see... i know she highly recommends 1 lady around here.
Or feel free to PM me and i can pass on some info to her and see if she can suggest anything.

Prob no help at all but good luck with it!

I definately belief in Naturopaths! Like S'rose said, they often pick up things that a doctor will say is in the normal range, but is actually on the low side or under etc.

For example, my doctor said my thyroid was in normal ranges, but my naturopath got me to temp chart and found my temps to be on the low side. So I'm taking natural stuff for thyroid and temps have definately improved!

Female infertility can be like detective work sometimes and it's really good to have a naturopath on your side helping you naturally.

I've been seeing a naturopath for the last year, and have just started accupunture too. Accupunture is supposed to be really good for increasing blood flow, energy flow and circulation for fertility!

    All the best

Let us know what you decide to do!

Thank you for all your suggestions

I think I will make an appointment, I have asked my accupunturist who he would recomend in my area.

I will let you's know how I get on!
