    Hi Faye, welcome!!
You'll find lots of support here. I recently joined and now I'm addicted!
Good luck with the FS appointment. Seeing a FS is such a positive step to take because whether you discover issues or nothing at all, you'll come out with knowledge and a plan

    Unhappy

So my husband and I had our first appt with FS and it turns out I have severe endometriosis. I'm booked in for a laparoscopy on 15th Feb and dreading it. FS says second operation will be necessary and will be much more serious but not sure when that will be yet. He feels confident that I will have be able to conceive probably with IVF but not until minimum end of the year. This was all very disheartening.

Oh Faye, I'm so sorry you got bad news You must be feeling pretty rough To find something positive tho - at least now you know what the problem is and there's something that can be done about it...
Just curious - how did the FS diagnose you with severe endo? Could they see it on ultrasound?

I had a lap last year and had endo removed (it was mild tho). I was a bit scared but it wasn't that bad. You definitely need a week off work. It's great that they managed to book you in so soon - less time to freak out and recovery sooner.

I really hope you are coping ok. Your dream of having a baby is not lost, just delayed Wishing you the best of luck.
