ovulation predictor tests while taking vitex.

I went to my GP today who gave me a referral to see a gynecologist / ob but sadly i cant get a appointment till mid May *cries*.

So i thought i better start taking Vitex again, i took it for a mth, got a period 6 days after taking it then got one 44 days later, stopped taking vitex after when i think i would have ovulated. Im hoping this mth i O around day 14.

If i take ovulation predictor tests will it show up when im Oing even on the vitex? Wat tests are the best? is maybe baby any good?

also when should i stop taking the vitex? no one seems to no.

I have read so much on Vitex and I am going with takingt he Vitex up til Im pregnant, then slowly weaning off. Many people have said that stopping Vitex cold turkey when they get the positive pregnancy test has caused them to miscarry early, so it is best to wean off slowly. I have had people say that you should only take Vitex til Ovulation, but a few aturopaths have said to take it into the first trimester, so I am going with that.

I started taking Vitex a couple of weeks ago. I got AF a few days after starting the Vitex and am currently on CD 7, hoping to O this month and have a much shorter cycle, my last 2 cycles were 10 weeks and 8 weeks.

I am interested to see wht anyone else has to say about when to stop taking the VItex.

Oh, I am using Forelife O tests as they are just supermarkets ones. Last time I ttc I used cheapies O tests from Ebay.
