No it doesn't, I think you'd better see your doctor again.![]()
Hi ladies
I have recently posted about my first trip to a FS and was told my tubes could be possibly block and will need lap surgery to find out for sure. When I was at my appointment he did an internal ultra sound and told me that I also had 11mm thick lining when it should only be 2mm. When he was finished he said that some spotting is normal - it has now been 7 days since I seen him and I have not stopped bleeding, and its not spotting, its bright red with small dark clots..... I am worried I am going to bleed to death
I havent had a decent period in about 8 months - they have just been 2 days of really light blood, not even enough to soak through to a pad, only when I wipe after going to the toilet do I notice the blood, so even though this week has been like my teenage days, im just a tad concerned that it isnt normal. The cramping in my right ovary is unbearable and I always used to get period pain at the top of my right thigh... and its back
I am feeling a bit drained and really lacking energy because of it..... does this sound normal to anyone?

Yes I agree go back to the drhope everything is ok.
Hi Ceejelz,
Firstly, I am pretty sure you wont bleed to death!!! But do go back to the doctor for a check up!
I have the same problem with an overly thick uterine lining. It could be caused by a few things - endometrial hyperplasia is one. I am sure your FS will monitor it and act on it if it becomes overly concerning. They may do a D&C with the lap as well (scraping out of the uterine lining).
Have you had your iron and vitamin B levels checked?
It might be an idea to take some folate supplements (if you arent already doing it). Try a berocca performance every day too. It may help with energy levels. Also, eat lots of green leafy veg, red meat, etc. to naturally boost your levels.
Good luck
