Please Help! Confused about Blood Test

I am hoping that someone might be able to shed some light on what is happening at the moment. I had my 5 day Blast transfer last Wednesday and yesterday AF showed up, very lightly which isn't normal for me. Today it has been a bit heavier so I rang the nurses to tell them AF had showed up. They were really surprised and said it was way to early for AF so sent me for an urgent blood test to see what was going on. I just got the results and the level came back at 8 which is very low. The nurse said for me not to get my hopes up and to keep using the crinone gel but didn't want to discuss with me what was actually going on??? Has anyone else had this happen??? Does it mean that I was pregnant? I feel really down as I had prepared myself for a negative but now I feel up in the air........

Sarz, it's possible that you are having an implantation bleed, I guess.

Does the clinic have you going in for another blood test soon?

I don't think with a level of 8 and the bleeding, that they would like to speculate on what it might be. If you haven't been given another appt for a BT, I would call and ask for one. It may give you (and them) a better indication of what it may be.

Keep using your crinone until then, hun. It's so hard to say what's happening definitively.

I am feeling a little better today, I am just praying it's not another Ectopic, i'm not sure I can go through that again! I have another blood test on Monday so i have a weekend of waiting ahead! Thanks for the replies!
