Pregnancy Hormone Injections??

Hi,
Ive just started the adventure of FS and hormone assistance.
Hx. off OCP 18 months. Ovulating but spotting from approx. 5dpo
TTC #1
Anyhow I have a scan with my FS this Wed to check ovulation will be occuring and I apparently will then be starting pregnancy hormone injections to hopefully stop me spotting and let a fertilised egg implant. I havent been told I will be on any other forms of treatment as yet.

Has anyone else had similar experiences TTC and/or having the pregnancy hormone injections?? Anyone had any success stories with just this form of treatment and nothing else?

Im still quiet confused about it all and what will happen when etc so anyones stories/ experiences would be great!
