Pregnyl 1500 trigger shot & HPT

Hi there

Just wondering if anyone can share thier experiences with the Pregnyl injection. How long does it take to leave your system? I had my shot on Saturday 6th March. I have had a positive progesterone test today (YAY!) so have been told to do a hpt from the 23rd (another week!!)
I needed to go to the loo so I thought why not?? I will do a test...... bad move cos I got a faint BFP, so now I think that the injection is still in my system considering I am around 9DPO. I know I am clutching at straws but I have wanted this for so long now - (just like everyone else) - and am hoping to hear any positive stories to keep me occupied for the next week!!

Aries - what other form of progesterone are you taking (if any?)
If you had the pregnyl booster over a week ago (on 6th) - its well & truly out of your system now for a HPT
I've watched mine disappear out of my system previously & it usually takes about 3 days for 1500iu to be out of your system for the false positive on your POAS.

9DPO does sound early - but not unheard of for a faint positive on a good POAS... its definately not the pregnyl if you had it last on 6th & its now 15th

I havent taken anything else - only the pregnyl shot for maturing the folly that I 'grew' from 150mg dose of clomid.
It is only feint but definately there - hopefully not an evap line

I second that! Being the inquisitive type I watched mine leave my system also. It took 4 days for me before there was absolutely nothing on the stick. I have had bfp's at 8dpo and 9dpo so it's very probable and possible that what you are seeing is the real deal. I hope so much that it is... Big hugs as you wait.

I had 1500iu last shot on the 14th march and i have tested everyday since and now its 4 days since i had the shot and i am still getting BFP so don't let it trick you but yours should be gone by now its been 9 days for you i also cant test till the 23 rd march
