    Question

    Hi all,
    I haven't been on for a while.
My story is i hadn't one and only ivf cycle in Jan ( unsuccessful ) My hubby and i then decided to do ovulation induction therapy. All of this has thrown my cycle out of whack, resulting in an 8 day early cycle. Then we started injections but i ovulated before trigger, we had intercourse but we think was to late, 8 days later my af arrived. So thought would have a break and let my cycle get back to normal, so 2 days ago i had signs of ovulation and started back on the lovin path. Today i am have very strange twinges near my uterus so much you can actually see it. Has anyone had a similar thing and could it be part of ovulation. Any help would be appreciated. Also i had a weird theory that because of injections my lining was to thick causing the af and that i actually got pregnant. Not that i am holding out hope

Okay Bubbaroochie, your post reminded me of something that happened to me, however I will preface with noting that I did not go through the same treatments you have.
In 2009, I went on clomid to ovulate and on the first round fell pregnant. We DTD as instructed by our specialist on the appropriate days, and then about four days later (from memory, which is pretty scratchy), I had some seriously weird "twinges", even spasms near my uterus. When I say weird, some of them felt like my ovary was almost vibrating. maybe impantation? I don't know, but we did end up pregnant on that cycle.
    Best of luck.

    Good luck with testing.

Just wanted to mention something with regard to AF showing up early after the injections. It's quite common for FSH injections to cause a short LP. My theory is that it stresses the ovaries and causes the corpus luteum to fail early (ie stop producing progesterone, and the drop in progesterone then triggers AF). It's for this reason that it is recommended to have some form of luteal support (eg progesterone supplements or hcg booster shots) during the luteal phase of an injects cycle.

    Re: Question

If you are only monitoring cm it's impossible to pinpoint ovulation. You could guess that the first day after suspected o with no ewcm could be 1 dpo but this can be inaccurate
