Any info on FSWA (Fertility Specialists WA)?

    Hi Everyone,
I am looking at another clinic in Perth and was referred to FSWA by my GP. It is a bit far and I have heard also more expensive than other clinics, but if their results are good and they provide a good service i am happy to overlook those issues. Does anyone have any experience of this clinic/Drs there or have any advice? Much appreciated

Hi stargazer - I am at FSWA and get along well with all the staff. It is expensive, but then again most places are unfortunately. I havent had success as of yet, but I do feel quite comfortable there.

My FS is Doreen Yeap who I originally went with because (1) she is female (2) shortest waiting list.

Please let me know if you have any questions

    Hi BecD,

I'm starting at FSWA next month (hopefully OI to start with) but was wondering if you have their current IVF prices? I'd like to know what we may be in for in the future.

Are you still happy with the service you're getting?

We'll be seeing John Love to start with, I saw Mike Aitken over a year ago for an initial consult but he's taking 6 weeks off and I didn't want to wait til the end of July for an appt!!

    Thanks!

    Hi,

I haven't heard about FSWA, but I have been going to Fertility North since August last year. Their pricing is reasonable (I think anyway) and the nurses are great.
Depends on where you're located I guess (Joondalup was the closest and easiest for me!).

    Hi Alloy,

It would make sense for us to go to Fertility North as we live fairly close by, but FSWA was rec'd to us and that's where we've ended up!

Both DH and I work in/near the city so I don't think it will be too bad in that respect. Plus I'd be willing to drive almost anywhere for an appt if it meant I was going to get pg!!

    Hi girls
i have been at fertility north for almost 17monthes now but just started IVF, did get BFP on IUI last year but sadly it was ectopic, my SIL also goes there. The nurses are gorgeous i think its reasonably priced from what i can make out and i was told that there IVF and ICSI rates were the best in aus this year at 58% for IVF, so im really happy there. Good luck to everyone!!
