Tbh, what I did was lie down with my bum/legs against the wall (so my pelvis was slightly raised back) for about 5-10mins or so. Then I went to sleep lol.![]()
I was just wondering if it matters how long you are laying down for after you DTD? I know before bed is ideal as you will be lying down all night, but if it's during the day or in the morning how long before you can get up and go on with your day?
I struggle any longer than 10 minutes, is this enough time?
TIA![]()

But does it decrease your chances if you do it during the day when you are standing up most of the time??? I work full time and study so squeezing one in at night is so hard! I have to be up at 5am and am in bed at 9pm, so I am tired most of the time.
I really don't know. One would assume that it would help lying down as gravity would assist it to get there quicker, but I doubt everyone who has gotten pregnant has done that?id say just lie down with pelvis tileted for about 5-10 mins afterwards and try to DTD so he finishes in you while your hips are elevated (I.e. Hips on a pillow or missionary, etc) I don't think there's any "proven" way (correct me if I'm wrong ladies!
)
I don't think it makes any difference at all. The sperm swim up in your cervical mucous and what comes out is just the leftover![]()
Thanks ladies, I did always wonder if the stuff that comes out could be wasted swimmers!And I don't want that!
When i concieved DD i was on top and i just got up peed and then went and watched tv![]()
