I just got back from my FS appointment and he has diagnosed me with PCOS because of my irregular cycles. There is no problem with blocked tubes as I have managed to conceive (but no take home baby). So he suggested we try 'superovulation' which is IUI (I think) He explained that I will have injections to release a few eggs instead of one and then they will inseminate with DH sperm.
I had more BT's and DH is having another SA, and I am seeing the FS again in 6 weeks. Is this when we will start? I forgot to ask! He said 1 in every 5 procedures ends in a baby, so pretty good odds I reckon. Although from what I've read on here it doesn't seem to be all that successful.
Does this sound pretty standard?

I just needed to figure out how much time I will need off work.
I'm guessing my next appointment is 6 weeks because a) He is a busy man and b) He said the wait for DH to get a SA is about 3 weeks in the clinic, but I did get an appointment next week so maybe I could call and get an earlier one?
