Thumbs up Thanks to the other country girl at MIVF on 11/9

Yesterday (11/9) I fronted up to MIVF to have a tranfer by myself - DH was away for work. After sitting down in the waiting room, a lovely women (originally from NE Vic), also waiting to see a FS (also by herself) said hi and started a conversation. It was so nice to have someone to talk to while waiting (i find that everyone, including myself, normally stare at their shoes, or the mags) and she had such a great positive outlook that I found really inspiring.

Anyway, on the outside chance that you are are on BB and reading this post, thanks very much for stricking up a conversation, and for your positive and energetic outlook - very inspiring Good luck with your journey and I hope that you achieve the addition to your family that you so long for .

Good luck with your journey and may it come to an end very soon

Thanks everyone for your kind words of support - it is funny how it is often those little incidental things along this journey that can mean so much

It's so lovely that you were able to make that connection with the lady. I always feel so alone in the waiting room, it would be nice if people were friendlier and shared more.

Thanks for sharing FG. Wishing you all the best with your TWW.
Your post is a great reminder to me that when sitting in that waiting room (and I normally hate the silences, everyone avoiding eye contact etc), that we are all in the same boat so to speak and it may pay to break the ice and talk with someone next to you if they are willing.
