Good luck to you to Janie....sending you :bluedust:
Thanks Janie
My last injection was on Monday so i better not test. I just cant help but think of things to do in the next four days but i rather not get myself worked up with the pregnancy test. Ill just be patient. Or at least try. Is there any chance the the pregnyl can give a false positive on a BT?
Best of luck with your cycle too!!
Hi Girls
Firstly, Paula...do not do a HPT. You will more than likely end up with a positive result due to the pregnyl. Not worth the stressing over the next 4 days. I found it extremely hard to stay away from them but you will be glad in the long run.
Janie thankyou for your good wishes for all of us. Here's to you getting the BFP soon!!
Nicole..how are you doing?
Well, this cycle is just killing me!!! Had another lot of bloods this morning and guess what? Levels still not high enough to warrant an u/s. Have been asked to return to the clinic for another blood test on saturday morning. Of course now I am stressing that I might trigger on my own and miss the IUI as it will be day 13 on Saturday. Spoke with the nurse about the levels and my haphazzard injection times and she says that the slow response is unlikely to be caused by that. I know the FS knows what he is doing, but how can I go from one extreme to the other in just one cycle. Arrrggggg!!!:wall::wall::wall::wall:
Talk Soon
Hey Chickadees,
How are all my lovely hens?
Belinda what day of your cycle is it? I always go late so to speak? And as for different specialists doing things differently boy that is so true. My fs said to me that the time it was done was irrelevant. Normally mine are all over the shop. Except this cycle i was a little better. Had my final injection of ovidrel this morning. Fingers crossed :crossfingers:that you surge soon and iui is only a sleep or two away. All the best with this cycle.
Paula: Well done on the hanging in there and waiting thing. You are such a champ.I do have my fingers crossed for you that this is the magic cycle. I do find though that at the moment i feel fantastic. Maybe its because of the vitamins or the fact that i am taking better care of myself, really not sure. It is so hard to not to test. I found last night i was really edgy tossing and turning. I feel nervous and excited and GOOD-just really good.
Janie: thanks for the tip on the injections leaving the system. I had heard 5 days but thats fine. All the doctors cant agree with their data so how can we? Maybe it WILL persuade us to wait the WEEK. I hope so. Good luck with your cycle coming up.
Kaydee: I hope you are well and that everything is going to plan. Wishing you every success.
Nicole: My BBlil sis(Hehe)-I hope you are well. You and i are so in it together this cycle. I have pretty much followed you all the way through. Ovidrel injection done this morning, now we wait. The waiting does seem to be going very fast for me this time maybe its because i've been working so much maybe its because i feel wonderful. So much energy and exuberance-I am totally full on. I think everyone at work wants to slap it out of me. I feel like a fraggle who has had coke and chocolate who likes to sing the hamster dance.:happyforyou: Life just seems too good. I am so happy. I hope you are having a great week and hanging in there;its not long now. The 10th and 11th are our days. I cant believe how fast the time has gone. God Nicole i want this soo much;i can taste it. :bellygrowing:It has to happen for us soon. For all of us rEAL soon. :grouphug:
Fraggle bounces across the room throwing baby dust and marshmallows and glitter everywhere.:hello::confetti:
Mwah xxxxxxxxxx
Polly, your such a fraggle...every post you crack me up!!
I agree that time has really gone fast this cycle and just think we will be at that testing time in few days :pray::pray::pray:
Belinda, I've been thinking about you all day hoping you would have some great news. I'm so sorry to hear that your body needs a little more time this cycle.
As you said it doesn't make any sense, cause everything went really well last time.
Did they suggest that you BD at all in the next few days to get some swimmers in waiting?
Take care of yourself and I'm sure things will all work out, and remember your musketeers are all here for you :grouphug:
As for me I am trying to keep positive and hopeful...having some tight pain in the BL area...sort of feels a bit weird...but not looking too much into that.
I keep thinking no matter what I do I can't change what has already happened in my body, :crossfingers: this time next week there could be news for celebration.
Polly, Polly, Polly.....you crack me up girfriend!!!! And I had so forgotten about fraggles!!! Today is day 11 of the cycle. Last cycle day 11 was the iui day for me. At this stage they can't even begin to guess when the iui will be. My next bloods are sat which is day 13. I guess I am lucky in that my clinic is open on the weekends, so I won't be under the pressure you were this cycle to go early because clinic was closed. I just don't get how they will be able to get to me in time if I am only having bloods on day 13. The earliest I could have the iui would be day 15???? You would think they would up my dose to 75 to get me moving! And to make matters worse I am not coping very well at all with the hormones this month. One day I am feeling sick and very depressed, the next I want to rip a strangers head off for looking at me twice in a shop!!!!! And I have to say, not to popular at home this week either!!
Nicole, no mention of BDing, although we have to try to time it as you can't BD 2 days before the iui. Sorry to be venting so much this week and being very negative. You guys are the only ones who know what we go through every day. From here on in I am sending lots and lots of positive thoughts and:bluedust: to each of you in the TWW.
Sleep Tight, talk tomorrow!:asleep::asleep::asleep:
Belinda
Hey Belinda, vent as much as you need to...
I am soo glad this site was created, I have no idea what state of mind I would be if it wasn't for BB and you lovely ladies
Friends and Family are great to have a chat to but no one understands as much as someone else going through the same thing.
Well musketeers we made it to Friday, hope the day fly's for all of us
Belinda you are so right about the testing and believe me i wont be testing. I was just having thoughts yesterday but i rather not get my hopes up just in case. Sorry to hear your meds arent working as well as you would want. Hopefully tomorrow brings some good news. :crossfingers:
Polly its great to hear your feeling great! I am too this cycle. Dont know why but i just feel very positive and fantastic all round. Only 7 more sleeps for you
Nicole i too am soooo glad that this site exists. As you said, its great to talk to family and friends but its different because they arent going through it so its hard for them to understand us 100% so to talk to you lovely ladies is a true blessing.
Well only 3 more sleeps for me :) AF is due today so im feeling a little on edge in case she shows up but hopefully not.
Have a great (quick) Friday musketeers :nana:
Hey Ladies just come back from Medicare, and just wanted to give you all a heads up.
If your cycle is less than 31 days Medicare require a letter from the clinic called a 'Short Cycle Letter', or else you are unable to claim.
Basically the Medicare lady said when you pay your Clinic ask them if you will require an additional Short Cycle Letter.
As for me, I required this letter and Medicare rang the clinic for me to request a copy of this letter to which they said they needed to get my FS to sign it then I would have to pick it up.
After much debate, I finally got them to fax it to Medicare as I was already there and no-one had advised me that this letter was required.
Anyway just thought I would let you all know, check with your clinic for further info.
Paula, that evil witch betta stay away from you :SAAF:
And again Yeahhhhh it's Friday :confetti:
:SAAF::SAAF: for all of us!!
Hey Girls
Nicole, with regards to the letter for medicare...is this because you have met the medicare threshold and you are claiming 80% that they need the letter? I claimed the last cycle about 2 weeks ago and only the invoice was needed. Also, how does medicare know when you actually started the treatment? I thought the invoice was sent out once the iui was performed. My last cycle was only 24 days from start of injections to pregnency test. How are you feeling? Not long now!!:SAAF::SAAF:
Paula glad to hear you are going to resist the POAS! It is a killer, I know, but taking the pregnyl actually helped me get through the TWW because I knew I couldn't test early and had no choice but to wait for testing day.:SAAF::SAAF:
I think I am finally starting to feel my ovary doing it's job. Not as strong as last month, but there is a niggle on my right side. I am off to see Maroon5 tonight with some girlfriends so this will help keep me busy until tomorrows third blood test!
:bluedust::bluedust::SAAF::SAAF: to all my fellow muskateers!!!
B xxx
Hey Belinda, nothing to do with reaching the safety net, but the item number on the invoice which is 13209. This item number has a limit of 1 service in 26 days from any provider, and if you come in under this time frame you need a letter from your FS to explain why. (Hope that made sense?!?!?1)
Glad to hear that your feeling some changes going on, and have fun tonight  and good luck for tomorrows bloods..let us know how you get on.
As for me, still feeling hopeful my BB are feeling itchy...anyone else feeling like that?
Yes Nicole, my BB's have been little itchy and also my belly... Probably nothing related... hahaha Just coincidental.
Glad I'm not the only one, but as you said probably just a coincidence.
Paula you must be going mad, only 3 sleeps to go!!
Yeah very excited actually.... It will probably be more like 2 sleeps left cause dont think ill be getting much sleep on Sunday night.. hahaha
Yeah that's true, what time is your test? Are you working on Monday?
The actual test is at 8.10am and yes unfortunately i am working
DH and i took Monday off because of our weekend away so i cant go taking another Monday off in a row plus DH is quite busy at work too so he wouldnt be able to stay home with me anyway. I have been thinking lots about how to tell him the news if its Positive. Do i ring him, do i send an sms, do i drive to his work and tell him in person? Any suggestions?
That sucks not being able to be of work on Monday, but if DH is working too it would do your head in waiting for the clinic to call.
As for YOUR BFP on Monday, how far is his work from you. I think it would be great to turn up at his work and give him the news.
I have always wanted to purchase those baby Dunlop Volleys when I find out I'm PG as DH is a roofer and wears them every day and I too would surprise him at a job with the little shoes all wrapped up ..
That is sooooo cute Nicole. Thats an excellent idea. DH only works about 15 minutes away so its not a problem to go there. I too bought something on ebay, Its a book, "Diary of a pregnant dad" Kind of sounds weird now with that American "man" being pregnant and all, but its just a males insight on pregnancy and i was hoping that i would get that on Monday morning and be able to give it to him when i go and break the news and just say, "Well i guess you might want to start reading this!" But at the same time i dont know if i am going to be able to hold it in, i will just want to ring him straight away.
Can you ask the clinic to ring you at a certain time or do they give you a time frame?
