YEAH...I am starting on Drugs today

Just to let you know that I have had my blood test today and my hormone levels are back to where is should have been from my last miscarriage.

The nurse has just rung and told me that I am to start Lucrin from tonight....I am so excited....fourth time lucky...fingers crossed.

Good luck to you Smithy. A trick for the injections is I used ice to numb the area of my stomach where the injection was going to go, and DH would inject me there. It doesn't hurt as much.

But because I am on high doses of drugs in my later cycles, it gets a bit paiful, so I use Emla cream, which you can buy in Chemists. You just put this cream on your skin for 45 minutes to an hour, and it numbs that area, and you don't feel any pain. This creams comes in very handy when you have to have your trigger shot, as a lot of liquid goes in and it is painful without the cream. I don't want to scare you, just warn you so you know as I see this is your first go.
