Your FS may want you to try for a few months yourselves after the lap. as for about 3 months after a lap your chances of getting pg. go up. However I think they would also be fairly keen for you to start IVF too so they might leave it up to you. My FS is definitley very pro IVF quickly once people are in their late 30s.
