DH and I are going through similar things right now, although not quite up to the IVF stage just yet - we're waiting on the test results, and we're booked in for an ultrasound each on Tuesday. Something interesting the FS said to us was about DH's testosterone level, and I was wondering if any of you have had the same worries? He said if DH was low or borderline, then the biopsy to get some sperm might effect his production of testosterone and - worse case scenario - he could be on hormone replacement therapy for the rest of his life. It's something we're taking seriously before considering the possibility of IVF. We've got another 4 weeks of waiting to go, so I suppose I'll find out then but I do think about it occasionally, and havn't found out much online about it either.

We don't yet know the cause of his zero sperm counts, but it's IVF or nothing at this stage - and we're not keen on donor sperm.

It's so nice to read others have a similar experience, and we're not alone in this!
